Thank you. As far as breakfast is concerned, I'm eating 1 point, but the whole can, Progresso soup. So far, so good. I'm eating more veggies and fruits.

Cutting back on my fat, I bought fat free half & half, I don't know how this will turn out, I have to get use to it, or go back to standand half & half. I do measure out 2 tablespoons.

My main goal is to become a life time member, in order to save money.

Biggest thing is to measure everything and tracking.

Hope this helps.

Lynn, great job! Caution on the soup - it's pretty high in sodium and I found that it affected my weight loss for a few days after I ate it. But, if I remembered to drink lots of water the same day I was fine. But, it could just be me. The fat free half/half - it's not so bad once you get used to it!

Cheryl - try eating more points for a few weeks - I find it worked for me.

Tomorrow is weigh-in and I'm still the same weight as last week. While that's a good thing I was hoping for a little loss. I've been on plan and trying more LC this week. Last week I ate all my weekly points and lost weight. This week I haven't used any of them and I'm the same. tomorrow is the day - we'll see what happens.

Good Morning All. I hope that everyone is having a great week. After reading everyone's posts and continually reading the main lowcarb lobby, and numerous other sites regarding low carb, it once again re-enforces to me how important it is to watch the carb intake - especially the "whites" (sugar, flour, rice, potatoes, etc). As of today, I am going to specifically work on lowering my carbs. I probably won't be as strict as say...Atkins, but not as loose as WW allows. I do plan, at this point, to continue trying to work the low carb style into the wwpp program. I know that it can be done, I've just got to discipline myself to do it. I know that there are others that do this, for instance, on the ww site, one of the groups is called "low carb weight watchers" - I think. Of course, I believe that this is the best site to post, but just letting you all know that there are others out there living the "woe" that we talk about.

Good luck today Hockeymom.

Good Morning Everyone....boy I almost blew it last night...I almost went for a Taco Bell Taco Salad.. at 10pm at night.. OMG it was so easy to talk myself into it and see no repercussions for it...luckily I drove past it.. I was going to get my son something after his band practice last night....but by the grace of the universe I didnt..whew!! I am such a weak person when it comes to food.. it's sickening....

Rotay.. Low Carb and doing Weight Watchers is such a battle for me....Doing Low Carb for as long as I did, I tend to lean that way.. but I also am enjoying a little rice, or fruit etc. it's all about not having the correct portion control for me...

What a War for me, for all of my life..

Anyway Hope all is having a good week so far!!

Well after several days of increasing my points-using more of my extra points allowed each week- my stall is over. I gained 2 pounds back to the drawing board.

Good morning ladies! Down 2lbs this week! I was worried cause I've been eating over points some days but it's getting easier.

Rotay, your post hit home to me because I'm glad that I can lose weight eating 'whatever' but just for the health part, I've been thinking like you lately. I realize I feel the best when I don't eat high carbs (white) and sugar/sweet food. And after much thought, I don't want to begin eating this way because I worry in maintenance about losing control which is sooo much easier for me to do when I eat that stuff. I'm really focusing on setting a good eating pattern now that I can maintain for life. I know I won't fool myself into thinking I will eat very low carb forever so not even going to attempt that one, but I do want to eat healthier. So it's a balancing act..which I'm really learning by doing WW.

Cheryl~sorry about the gain...I hope you can figure out that happy median for loss.

Melinda~ congrats on not giving in to that craving!! I agree, about eating rice and fruit..it's all about portion control when we do eat it. Hope you're feeling better today.

Lynn~thanks for the info...it does help!

Hockeymom~hoping you have a better than expected weighin...

How many points did you increase daily? Let's think about this - was it just a few days over or the entire week? What types of foods did you eat? higher sodium, higher carbs? I had to find a good balance of my points to break the stall. Maybe provide a sample menu for a few days?

I stayed exactly the same weight as last week. That's odd - that never happens. But, I'm happy with it. Now, if I can get this cough to stop I can start exercising again. It's almost the weekend - YEAH!!!!

I'm allowed 20 PTS / day + my bonus points. I very rarely used them. I usually had 1-2 fruits a day and some veggies every day. I increased my points by 5/day and it was carbs. Some Spaghetti one day. Corn one day. I will post my menus over the next few days. It is driving me nuts.

Thanks.

Congrats to the losers !! I hope to join you soon.

It sure feels like it is low at times. But that's what they calculated. And look what adding 5 did? Plus I stalled for a month. So maybe I need to go lower

Cheryl...the other ladies are more knowledgable than I....I weigh so much that I get 45 points..however on the points plus 2012 version..I thought you couldn't go below a point total..it isa battle for I probably just ate 12 ounces of no sugar added ice cream!,

Morning everyone! I gained 1.6 this week, but I have been on plan and exercising, so I am reasonably sure that it is water weight that should be gone next week. Not going to worry about it!

Good weekend, all.

They had me start at 20 with 49 extra points. I don't think I would have lost at 26.

I think I will try lower carb. See what happens. I have been on WW since Memorial Day. Lost 15 and I have struggling since. I still have 12-15 to go. I haven't lost since mid Aug except when I switched to Induction for a couple of weeks. But I just can't eat that way for long. I'm trying to find a way to eat that I can use to lose and then maintain.

Thanks for all the help everyone

Thanks Crazy.
Good attitude Murray.
Cheryl, double checked...26 is minimum, so I don't understand the 20???? Anyway, maybe that has been part of the problem? You were not eating enough, and then when you changed things up, your body didn't know what to do? I have read over and over that most lose more weight faster whenever they eat all of their daily points plus at least some of their weeklies. Your mileage may vary, but I would check it out. Eating lower carb should help you eat less processed foods, so maybe that will help. Good luck, keep us posted.

You and Hockey mom are ver similar to my height. Did you do 26+ points? Maybe you two could post how you ate and lost.
