Cjmo, I believe that Hockeymom is in our range as well, and she is doing great. Years ago when I lost 40 # and got down to 118, I wrinkled pretty badly, so,this time I am taking it slower, adding more fat, and not really trying to get to a certain number, but more trying to be lean and look good.
Liro, I really think that lower carb is the better way to go, but, I had to really watch my caloric intake, so didn't feel that I was getting the "benefits" of low carb. I wish you luck. |

I am knocking on 57. And it has been hard losing it for me too. I always weighed about 103 until mentalpause I have struggled since. I got down to 112 and maintained for quite a while but had some disasters happen and ate my thru them.
dumb move. even at 112 I still had chubby arms, but like you, I saw the wrinkles and saggy jaw/ neck. Even now I see it. But I figure I can deal with that when I get to the weight I feel comfortable with and maintain it for awhile. I will look back and read Hockeymom too I'm going to try and read the whole thread and get acquainted with everyone. It seems like a friendly helpful bunch. Crazyone what a name.

Thank you, I think this time around I really do need to watch portions. Just because I can have something doesn't mean I can have all I want. |

Good Morning Everyone....Have a great day today...
Lynn..I get way more points than everyone else so right now it's a bit easier....Planning for me on any plan, even low carb is the key...so breakfast I either have some hot cereal....or 3 strips of bacon and 2 eggs....but I know that may change if I ever get closer to where you are. and then maybe not.. |

Oatmeal, grits, cereal, low carb tortilla w/ pnut butter and banana, eggs sometimes as a sandwich, yogurt, fruit, sometimes non-breakfast foods.
Smoothie- protein type powder, 1 cup milk, 1/2 frozen banana, 1/2 - 1 tbs each of peanut butter and sugar free chocolate syrup- Yummo! |

I have a variation on the same thing every day: 1 cup of nonfat plain Greek yogurt with a piece of fruit and 1/2 oz of walnuts mixed into it. It is quick, creamy, and filling. It's six points. A couple hours later I have two hard boiled eggs for four more points. |

Good morning to all. Hope everyone had a great weekend.
New month - new start. Have decided that the new WW program just isn't working so well for me so am going to do a more restricted old program. I used to lose fairly fast on that, so will see what happens since I am older now and that way I will still be eating healthy. Since I am 15# from goal, loss has really slowed down. Have lost 40# on low carb, but it got so it wasn't working anymore. Tried JUDD, but because of blood sugar issues, couldn't do that. Sugar got too low on DD's. So, will see what happens with this WOE. Have a great day everyone, Hope |

Good morning ladies, coming here for inspiration. This weekend was a total bust for me...unplanned eating out and visit at friend's house with a ton of food, just undid me...I'm taking Hockeymom's approach, I goofed up now moving on. I can't keep doing this and expect a different result though. Here's to a new month, new start of week...I have four days before weigh in to try to undo the damage. Hope everyone have a great Monday and thanks for the support given here!!
Hope~since What's the older version? Are the food choices more restrictive or are you using the simply filling plan? Just curious...wishing you success!! Congrats Melinda!!! 10lbs is fantastic!!!! LiRo~low carb is always a good option...I guess at some point you have to tweak it (?) for it to work again. It stopped working for me or now I see using the tracking method with WW that I was definitely overeating...so maybe it would work better now. Best of luck and you're still welcomed here, regardless of you WOE. |

October 1 - can you believe it... New month - new plan. Except today - I'm super hungry today for some reason. I ate a lot of fruit/veggies and 2 pts of pretzels a while ago to get me to dinner. This is unlike me - I'm trying not to be a snacker - that was my problem before.
Let's start out the week strong! |

I don't think exercise will get rid of all the dimples on my upper arms. It's so strange. I never had that before. I refuse to wear anything that cover them up. |

I have eaten 1 cup of Kashi go lean crunch (5pp) and 1 cup Skim milk (2 pp)with a bananna 0pp sliced in almost every day and I still love it. I think it feels so good because I went without all those things on low carb for so long!
