WI today! Down 4.6. Yay! The only bummer is that a point got taken away. Boooooo.

I am having the usual today:

B: NF Greek yogurt, plum, walnuts, coffee
S: 2 HB eggs
L: big salad with butternut, carrots, onions, spinach, quinoa
S: apple
D: 4 oz ground turkey, sauteed veggies

Hope the weekend is great!

Good morning to all.
Congrats, Murray. Doing great.
I was down .8 today but my losses are so slow. I just have to take one day at a time.
Hope you have a great weigh in tomorrow, Melinda.
Have a great day everyone.

Down to 218.4, so -2.4 from last Friday. Happy with this plan bc I'm not "obsessing" over food as much! Happy Friday, everyone!

Congrats Jayce.. I was having a horrible time leaving low carb behind.... And even more stupid feeling the lousy guilt...but I really have enjoyed adding back some fruit...having the correct amount of hot cereal...just hoping tomorrow I will have some success on the scale .

Jayce, I have noticed the same thing. I plan and prepare, but do not obsess. It is a very nice feeling. I have also noticed that I am filling up faster (or maybe just more attuned to filling up) and that I am satisfied with less so long as I have protein and fat incorporated into my meals and snacks.

I am excited about everyone's successes - scale and non-scale! Congrats!

Thanks, y'all. I know that sometimes I felt like all I talked about was food, weight, etc., so it's somewhat of a relief not to think about it nonstop. I am glad that I can share my triumphs & struggles here, but I don't want every waking moment focused on my weight.

same for me too. I need to get close to my daily points and use some (not all) of my weeklys to lose. And - getting activity points too.

I've been away for a few days - had a horrible cold. So, I missed some new people joining - WELCOME everyone.

Thursday was weigh-in. I ate all my daily points and 40 of my weekly. That is more than I've been eating but I also got quite a bit of activity points in. I lost the 1.6 lbs (but I had gained that the week before). That's ok - I'm good with that. Now...to get through the weekend....

WW isn't working for me anymore. I keep falling off the band wagon and counting points is too much for me right now. Think I am going to go back to low carb, but will still eat yogurt, fruit and rice, along with the normal atikins lc list.

Liro, did you look into the simply filling technique of WW? There is no counting, just eat until satisfied from list of power foods. You would only count points for non-power food choices...nuts, full fat mayo or butter, etc.

No matter what you decide, we wish you the best and success. Thanks for letting us know about your decision, we will miss you.

this morning is my weigh in...Monday I was 344.8...today I am down to 334.8....

So that is 10 pounds down for me...but the second week is always the hardest.. because the first week the water weight comes off so easily...it's a very forgiving week...so I have to plan again for the 2nd week...

thanks ladies from my heart, for all your encouragement, menu postings.. ideas and suggestions...

Rotay, I have looked into it but don't think it is for me. I am going to try low carb for a while again, if I don't lose then I will come back to ww.

I was doing WW. I lost 1-2 # week then went a month without losing anything. I keep to my points and only use 2-3 of my extra points each week. I am still 12# from my goal weight. Any suggestions?

Cjmo, I would suggest trying to use more points, at least for a week and see what happens. I have heard this same scenario from numerous people who said that once they added more points they started to lose again.

Thanks. I will try that.

I notice we have about the same stats. I am 4'11 and started about the same weight. I am trying for 112.
