Good morning ladies!

Congrats Hope!

Crazyone~I've let go but I still have a nagging thought through the day that I'll lose faster if I keep it lower carbs. Yet I don't want to feel restricted counting carbs and points. It's like an ongoing internal battle

I went to Red Robin after being out most of the day running errands. I didn't eat anything I planned after looking up points from WW app, except sweet potato fries. I also had onion rings and half a mushroom, swiss burger. Needless to say, I used most of my weekly points. I need to keep to daily points if I hope to see any loss this week. (Crazyone, this is where the option to do low carb thoughts become stronger because I know it will release water weight from carb intake, ugh).

Good morning all. Well, I am going to go on ww officially. I need to see "poundage" loss, not just inches. Now...trying to decide if I want to count points or just do simply filling???? I think now that I am exercising so much, I can probably be successful on SFT, because I will have the extra APs to compensate for any splurges or low/full fat items instead of fat free. I am starting today, but my meeting day will be on Fridays. So far today, coffee, fat free h&h x2, medium banana. Lunch plans are turkey salad at subway w/oil&vinegar dressing, then bowling with the grandsons. Hope you all have a great week.

Shari, just drink lots of water to flush. . Also remember, that is why you have extra points...to indulge a bit. Now the new week begins, so get back on that horse. You will be fine.

Thank you, Shari. Sounds like you had some yummy food.

I still keep that carb thing in my mind, too. Just been on it forever, but yesterday I definately added more carbs and lost, so decided it does work, too. Old habits are hard to break.

Have a great day.
Hope

Good morning everyone! Today's menu is going to be:
B: Light whole grain english muffin with 1 egg and 1 slice bacon (6)
1 tbsp butter (3)
Coffee with 1 serving coffee mate sugar free vanilla caramel (1)
Salsa (0)
blackberries(0)

L: 2 cups mixed greens (0)
1 serving progresso lite soup (2)

D: grass fed ground beef patty (6)
mix of summer squash, zucchini and onion fried in 1/2 tbsp butter (1)
not sure what to have for dessert, but I definitely want dessert haha (and I still have 9 points to use)

Sundays used to be our splurge day, when we would go out for a big meal after church. Now I can't do that because my weigh-in is on Mondays. I'm also still battling the LC mindset a little, but I know that this will work too.. if I do what I'm supposed to. I just have to remind myself, it's not a race
Have a great Sunday everyone!

tttmom-don't worry - I struggled with that too for quite a while. Guilt about eating carbs. I try to limit the carbs but I'm not LC crazy anymore. It's ok - it will work - trust it. I'm now down over 30 lbs and feel great.

Hockeymom if you don't mind me being a pain in asking this. What kind of carbs do you eat in a day beside fruit?

Hockeymom-That is GREAT on the 30 pounds!!!
CeeCee- Way to go!

Today is my weigh-in and meeting, but I have to wait till noon. I think I'm still down a few, we'll see... have been good on plan, and still had 30 weekly points left when my week ended last night Yes, it is hard to separate from the LC. But it seems like the new PointsPlus is sort of low carb-ish. At least the carbs count toward the points now. Anyway, hope you all have a great Monday!

Good Luck tttmom....hope you have a huge loss!!! I made a huge dinner last night and usually make it all low carb as hubs has sugar issues... I made more than I ever did and had no idea that I did, if that makes sense...and I ate alot and stayed the same.. so I consider that a victory myself..hopefully it doesn't show up tomorrow...

mostly fruit. Last week I had some whole wheat pasta but that's not a weekly thing. I try to stay away from bread but about once a week if I'm out at a restaurant and it's super good bread then I'll have a piece. I have some granola once in a while. Or, some popcorn/pretzels.

Thanks Hockeymom..so what I gather is you still keep low carb except for fruit...I enjoy fruit so much I really missed it on low carb. I am not a big berry lover...but then a sprinkle here and there you had a little of this and that..Ok...

TOM is about to arrive and I just can't shake off that water gain.. no matter how much I drink or a water pill...grr..

Congrats to you losers.. meant in a nice way..

Thanks everybody! And CeeCee way to go on another pound down today! Crazyone- Maybe you'll have a big whoosh when tom finally arrives. I usually do, no matter what plan Im on. Good luck!

Today is going to be:
B: 3 mini paleo banana muffins (6)
1 cup strong black coffee with 5 drops vanilla stevia and 1 tsp cream (1)

L: 2 fish fillets (5)
2 cups mixed greens (0)

D: 3 oz grass fed beef (6)
1 Tbsp natural peanut butter (2)
2 slices crispy bacon (2)
Smart Ones Brownie A La Mode (3)

Still have a couple points left to use, but I'm sure I'll find something to use them on

ooops... forgot to add my brocolli to my dinner. Trying to get more fruits and veggies in. I had planned on having some fresh organic strawberries, bought some yesterday, and today they are all rotten so I'll figure out something else.

Hello Everyone.
Congrats to the losers and also those that are keeping on plan. Wonderful!

I have been doing well and loving this WOE. So excited for my next meal and am so eager to try different things after being on low carb for so long. Love that fact that I can eat this way and keep my blood sugar under control, too.

Today's Menu:
B - homemade oatmeal muffin, 1/2 banana
L - Chicken, salad, 1/2 apple baked
D - (wanting mexican) 1/4 cup homemade bean dip, taco shells with salsa, lettuce, a little cheese, pumpkin dessert

Have a great evening,
Hope
