thank you for the welcome Rotay. I don't care if we have a ton of people in here and great if we do. I have always preferred quality over quantity anyway.

So Queeny, how do you use the peanut butter powder and what are the points?
Weigh in tomorrow, I don't feel as small today as I did yesterday. Could it be the sandwich thin/ peanut butter/ banana combo? Or too much sodium? I would really be upset with a bad weigh in, because I feel that I have done really well. I still have some weeklies left and 10 APs. I also need a bm(tmi, I know) - sorry!

You use peanut butter powder the same way you would use peanut butter. You can put it on celery, make a sandwich, put it on english muffin and add bananas, add to a smoothie, ect.

2 tablespoons is 1 point. To make a sandwich I make two servings for 2 points. Two servings is plenty for a sandwich. Two tablespoons of powder and one tablespoon of water mix together and this is so creamy and spreads easy. 45 calories in one serving. Made from organic peanuts. Four net carbs one serving.

My gym has a smoothie that I would like to make WW friendly, it is so good. I am wondering if the peanut butter powder would help. Iti is called a funky monkey. Ingredients are: some kind of banana liquid yogurt, protein, nestle's quick chocolate, peanut butter, and ice, any suggestions?

I am not real happy about weigh in today. I weigh every morning, and the other day before I ate the bread, peanut butter sandwich, I was down to about 137.8. This morning I am between 138.8 and 139, and that is before coffee and clothes. I am actually trying to talk myself into even going to the meeting. Still have not gone to the restroom. Of course it will probably happen after weigh in.
Sorry to be such a negative Nancy, hope everyone has a great day,

I wish there was an app for my phone that would give me points and carbs together! I'd even be happy with a little book for my purse that lists points and carbs......oh well, guess I'll just look things up separately! I am so enjoying having some fruit in my daily plan! I am still keeping the carbs down and tho I've not seen any pounds coming off yet (less than a week), I feel good. I'm guessing my body is "adjusting" to switching from very low carb, to lower carb-Weight Watchers. I also don't eat meat - some fish now and then, but I really think the Weight Watchers plan is alot more vegetarian friendly. I eat loads of veggies, some fruits, some cheese, eggs and I have a low carb protein shake every morning. I'm staying away from grains for now.......

If you eliminated the peanut butter and used peanut butter powder you would save 150 calories and 3 carbs. As my jif is 190 calories in 2 tbls. and 7 carbs, while PBP is 45 calories and 3 carbs.

I had a peanut butter and banana sandwich for dinner which was only 4 points. I used the PBP and 1 point bread and a banana. It was delicious. Oh I added a pickle for zero points on the side.

it also comes in chocolate peanut butter but my health store does not carry but many do ....so maybe you could eliminate the chocolate too from your shake

Mind if I join in?

I started on 03/11/12 and as of today, I'm down 19.2 lbs. I weigh in on Saturday's. I'm so close to 20lbs / 20% i can taste it! I'm a dork though and I track three separate numbers: My nekkid weight , my weight with clothes on my scale and my weight at meetings. I personally go by my nekkid weight (it's about 2lbs lighter than their scales).

I'm doing straight points plus. I did low carb successfully the first go round, but gained it back plus 20 and have not been able to commit since. I'm really loving ww because I can indulge in a potato now and then and I eat a low carb tortilla almost every day for lunch. I don't feel deprived. I can still have my steak and cocktails; I just make sure I have the points.

Queeny, I have no idea. They can make a "lighter" version, but it is not as good in my opinion. I heard at one time, that it had a lot of calories. I went to the store today and bought sugar free choc. Syrup, and banana baby food, because I could not find any banana liquid yogurt. You also have to add protein powder, I have some vanilla whey. I don't even have a clue As to where to begin. I am going to have to get some of that pnbr pwdr. I will try to call around to some health stores.

Penny, how was your weigh in? I opted not to go today, since I was only 1 pound down, I might go in the morning.

Hi! My weigh in was okay. Down a pound. The weigh in lady was happy I knew it wasn't going to be great because of Cinco de Mayo. It's a little shocking though that it took all week just to basically get back to where I finished last week. Overall I'm still thrilled because my weight is going down and I'm back in control of my eating. Anything is better than my 8 months of eating too much of everything and gaining every day.

My meeting had a bunch of the WW bars on sale so I stocked up. I love the Aloha bars and the lemon bars.

B: aloha bar & baby bel light & fresh fruit salad 4pts
L: chile lime chicken burger, thomas english light, slice 2% sharp american cheese 7pts
9 special k chips and WW 2 pt choc/peanut butter bar 3pts.

Super yummy food so far! Next week I MUST get to new territory! We're going out Saturday night but no going cr@zy!

Hi everyone - including new folks. Well, I had my first week with a big gain (ouch) - .8 lbs but not happy (one time I had .2 lb gain). I used some of my weekly points and whenever I dip into them this happens (and my extra points seems to be high in carbs too -- that's never good for me). My leader said 'well - maybe you can't use them and still lose' -- then why do we get them. Anyways, it's my fault - I can do better - I have been better - I'm down 17 lbs. I had a goal by the end of May and I will make it (I promised myself). I'm not starting off that good (weigh in was Thursday) - I went to dinner with my family for Mexican -- told myself I wouldn't have a margarita (too many points) -- but I had 2 (they were so yummy and we were sitting outside on a nice night and well....). Then, I lost control over the chips -- well, you get the idea.

Today - it's a wedding. So, until I go to the wedding - I'm having veg/fruit/low point food. And, lots of water... Tomorrow is Mother's Day and my boys want to make a yummy steak / potato dinner -- I'll have to plan...

Hope everyone has a nice weekend.

Queeny - I love that PB powder - I just bought it along with the chocolate. I'm surprised it's that good. I'm going to play around it next week.

Queeny, while I was at gym this morning, I got n.i. for funky monkey........you will flip when I tell you how Many calories (remember howeve that it is a meal replacement).

Calories - 720
Fat -15
Protein - 24
Sugar - 13
Carbs - 11
Fiber - 2

Sugars come from the banana purée yogurt stuff. I guess that if you use it for a breakfast/lunch combo it would be ok.

wow - that is a lot of calories and a whooping 7pts but you're right - if it was a meal replacement it might not be too bad all things considered. if it fills you up then that's ok.

I just joined yesterday and I am going to try it instead of low carbing and counting calories. I want to eat from all the food groups again and I want pizza and popcorn and frozen yogurt and potatoes. I'm tired of low carbing.

Well, yesterday was definitely my splurge day. I used a substantial amounts of weeklies at the Mexican restaurant. Now, back on plan today. Husband is making omelets for breakfast, yum.

I think that I have been a bit liberal ( not even counting yesterday) with the carbs. I need to cut back a bit. Even though I seem to be losing, I think that I just have gastro issues with the bread, beans, and potatoes. Maybe it is just one of these, i need to experiment.

Anyway, happy mother's day to all the moms out there. Have a wonderful day.

I was too! I lose better on WW, very consistently, and I can eat whatever I want.

Simply Filling Technique- eating from list of power foods, and counting points from weeklies for items not on list.

rotay that is a lot of calories!!!! I think I would make my own version at home. I would use straight up bananas if you can't find the yogurt. You might be able to find frozen banana yogurt but I have never looked for it. I am thinking peanut butter powder, bananas, skim milk some ice cubes, your protein power stuff might be good. It would be way less calories and points.

Hockey mom isn't peanut powder, awesome.
