Uggggh, this weekend was a hot mess. I had too much booze and too much food. Even hardcore exercise did not balance it out. I need to get a grip on my social eating and drinking. Apparently PLANNING on one glass of champagne does not help me stop after that glass.
So I am back in the saddle - eating cleanly and headed to bootcamp soon. I shall drink water and think about how to do better next weekend. Sigh. |

I went over by 2 points today, it was due to having to take my car in for service and they tempted me with their donuts in the waiting room.
B: gluten free apple cinnamon chex (3) with skin milk (2) L: donut (8) plain McDouble cheese burger (10) d: salad with balsamic dressing (2) sliced chicken (5) snack: cashews (5) dessert: Fiber One brownie (2) Total 37 (35 daily and 2 WP used) This afternoon I did walk 2 miles. So hopefully they burned off some of the donut sugar. LOL |

I have been on weight watchers for 2 weeks now and find that I am having a hard time eating up to my points (28 for me). I lost 3.4 lbs my first week and I weigh in tomorrow.
Does anyone else have this issue or maybe it isn't an issue? |

My problem: on the weekends, my packed social schedule means that I am not necessarily in control of my menu, and I drink wine, beer, liquor or, um, all three. Then I blow all of my daily points, activity points, and weekly points. I need to find balance. |

Hello everyone! I've gone completely off the rails this week, which is why I haven't been around posting much. I'm battling some depression, and that makes my relationship to food difficult for me to manage sometimes. I was so committed last week, and this week I just can't seem to get it together.
Anyway, I will get back on track, but now time is a factor. I just don't have time to make it to the store and get the food I need. So I will do the best I can until then. Will probably be Monday until I start back officially. ![]() I'm sure I will have gained back everything I lost last week, but that is ok. I will try not to let it get me too down. Melrose - I don't find it difficult to get up to my points limit, but I think that's because I snack a lot throughout the day. It's just the way I eat and it's hard for me to get away from it. Even making better or healthier choices, I still don't usually have much problem meeting my points goal. It's different for everyone, though. Sounds like you're doing great so far, though. |

Well, I joined WW online on Monday and set my WI day for Friday, and I managed to loose 1 lb during that time. I have been really hungry this week, though. I am noshing on a fruit or veggie every few hours to keep the hunger at bay. This is going to take a while. Oh well, I have nothing but time!
![]() Hope everyone has a wonderful weekend! |

Weight stayed the same, ( i fluctuate between 1 - 3 pound loss daily), but pt measured me again....lost 1/4" - 1/2" on every area, and lost 7 pounds fat and gained 6 pounds lean muscle. I'm really not sure about all this, but I was encouraged. She says that for her this meant at 112# she used to wear a 6/8 and now at 112# she wears a 0/2. I could live with that.
Hope everyone is having a good week. |

That is awesome, rotay! I could definitely live with that, too.
Thanks for the encouragment, twinkerbell. I am not too down on myself, even though I got on the scale this morning and it is NOT pretty. It'll be ok, though. I'm just going to struggle through the weekend until I can get to the grocery store and get back on track. I already have my list written and my meals planned for next week, so I'm looking forward and not back. Hope everyone has a good weekend. |

Hi ladies! I'm back from vacation, yay, and up 1 1/2 lbs.
lol! Last vacation I was up like 4 lbs. so I'm actually "happy" with this. I got back on track yesterday and am planning on going to a WI later this morning, mainly because I'm out of my ww aloha bars. I eat one every morning and I need to stick to the routine! I'm not sure what's on my menu today. Yesterday looked like this: B: oatmeal (4) w/blueberries 0 L: turkey burger (5) thomas light (3) cheese slice (1) SF sweet pickles 0 S: fiber one brownie (2) fresh fruit salad 0 D: 6 oz chicken breast (6) salad 0, dressing (1) grated cheese (2) S: greek yogurt (2) I think thats everything! I was OP so Looks like everyone is doing well except for the social struggle. I'm with ya! My sister has lots of bbq's that always have margaritas & homemade brownies.... I told her she was a diet saboteur! ![]() |

Penny, glad you are back and back on track. I hope that your vacation was a great one.
Adias, down a pound in spite of TOM is great, I bet that you will get a visit from that whoosh fairy next week. I tried a recipe yesterday that my pt shared with me, here it is... 2 boneless, skinless, chicken breast cooked in crockpot, cover with salsa and can of ff chicken broth, once done, take amount of broth needed to cook instant brown rice. Waalaa! That is all there is to it. I served up some black beans as a side. My husband suggested placing chicken, rice, and beans in a tortilla- like a burrito. We will do that next time. This was really yummy and easy. My pt also said that if she has left over chicken and broth, she will add black beans and corn to make it like a soup. Love this simple recipe that is so versatile. |

Hey everyone - just got back from my cruise today. Got on the scale this morning and I was up 4 lbs. I imagined that would be my gain - I got a ton of activity but the food - oh lord - the food - amazing and I just didn't worry about it. So...4 lbs to come off but it was totally worth it to have an amazing time. So....off to the grocery store in the morning and then totally back on track....
I can see by the recent posts that we have some celebrations and some challenges but let's vow to have a good week ahead.... |

Penny, I hope that you like it. I think the main thing is getting a salsa that you like. I was going to say...and since you are from Texas, that won't be a problem

It's definitely a Monday morning. I looked down at my feet as I was walking into work this morning and discovered I was wearing two different shoes.
![]() Anyway, up on the scale this morning like I knew I would be, so I'm basically starting over as of today. Hopefully next week I will have better news to report. Hope everyone has a great week! |

Thank you.
Looking over my week where I lost 5 lbs, I see I spent 5 days right at my 35 points, and then had two days (tuesday and friday) of eating 50 points. I am going to try that this week. Have two days of 50 and the rest at 35. |
