Hi everyone!!!
Sorry I've been MIA! It's just been crazy around here!Haven't really been eating on plan. But there are still elements of Dukan that I really like. Yesterday was the first time I've actually stayed pretty much on plan for a while. And today I have a new low of 203.6!!! My goal for Thanksgiving is to be below 200. I think that's realistic for the way I've been eating. But if I get back on plan totally I'd love to be around 195. That's about the weight when you can really tell a difference in my face. But I was thrilled last night. I wore a pair of jeans to work that I haven't worn in quite a few years!!! I was SO excited!!! Not sure what my meal plan for today is. I'm up after only 4 hours of sleep, so I don't know how the day is going to go. And I have to work tonight. Had some turkey lunch meat when I got up, but I do need to figure out dinner. Right now breakfast sounds good for tonight. But dh probably wants something more substantial. Have a great day!! Hope you all are doing well!!

Hi All. Sorry I dropped off the map in October- lost a very dear friend.. so hard to worry about things like weight when someone is... gone. But I will be back on track momentarily! I wanted to ask- a few threads back, folks were talking about Aldi's crab sticks. Everyone I look at has 12-13 carbs but they said it is ok. Can anyone shed light on this for me? I would love to have it if we are allowed to!
PS I made the Dukan baked Ziti- so delicious my head nearly exploded. |

![]() You have had a rough month. ![]() ![]() As for the fish sticks - have no clue but I have a theory- anything once in a while can't permanently damage what you are doing! We have to live and enjoy life (& eating) If we don't, we are in as much bondage as we were when unhealthy food controlled us. Have a meal of those fish sticks & enjoy the night! Today is a day where anything & everything went weird - But it is over & I have tomorrow to look for a smoother operating day! Blessings Everyone! |

Hey girlies, wanted to check in, I am at 205.4 more festivities, so I think I am going back to LC now for a while and see if I can finally get under 200 for good, my word, it is has been more than 2 months of getting so close and falling off, all my own fault! I saw the Dukan site is up to order from now, it looks expensive to me, but I guess people will order, the chocolate muffin mix looks tasty!
I am really sick, fever, sinus, bronchitis, my big mud run is on Saturday the doctor put me on the zpack and 2 inhalers and said I think you are nuts if you think you can run, so now I am bummed, I guess the big man is trying to tell me something to not do these races, everytime something happens, so I am out the entry fee of $65 but might as well cancel the hotel and not lose that as well. So I am going to change my eating to VLC and walk instead of run and see how i do on lower carbs and see if it pushes me over the edge. I really wanted to be around 175 by March when I have my surgery but the weight isnt moving like I would like, even though the inches are so I am glad for that. I am sorry about the stressors in life for you, and congrats to those doing well! I go up on the Atkins website 12/20, I am excited about that!!!

Nice to hear the updates from you all. So sorry about your friend Purrcy's Mom and understand why it's hard to concentrate on weight loss at such a time. I'm having the same problem with the crab sticks and have just avoided them because of my fear of carbs. They would be easy, but that just seems like a lot of sugar. I think Dr Dukan must be used to them being lower in sugar in the UK.
My washing machine finally gave out last week, so I am waiting for my new one to be delivered in 6 days. Big expense I wasn't planning on, so I'm hoping nothing else decides to stop working for awhile. Haven't been as good about walking this week since it's a little colder. Probably go back to the tread mill for the winter. Wt today was 174.4. Was hoping to be in the 160's by Nov. Getting closer at least.

Purrcy'sMom, I did the same thing last year. After my dad died last October I gained 20 pounds by the end of the year. Thankfully it's gone now!!
At 203.0 this morning!!! Love it!!! Hope you're feeling better soon, Amber!! Taking turkey, apple & gouda cheese and yogurt for lunch tonight. Sounds really good right now!!! |

Dr dukan talks about the crab sticks in the book and he talks about even though they are higher in carbs, that he has researched what they are made of and that he believes they are ok. I

Haven't weighed today, and probably won't till tomorrow. We'll see later after I get some sleep. Have to stay up and wait for the cable guys to show up between 8 and 12. But I don't have to work tonight, so that's good!!

Good job Lenise.
Onederland, Onederland, please arrive soon! There are a few people waiting and watching for you. Please come soon. 173.8 today for me. That's only 0.6 pounds off for the week. Just hope that means next week will be a good one. That 7 just doesn't want to roll over into a 6, but I'm going to fight for it. |

It's more like 5 or 6 for me. But I'm prepared for the weekend. I got my yogurt today and I have stew meat, chicken and turkey burgers. Plus other odds and ends. Going to do three PP days to see if that will help me get focused again. If I can stick with it, I usually am able to stay focused a little better. We can do this!!!
Onward ho!!! |
