I remember that. It was the first diet I ever did. It worked well and I lost the 10 lbs I wanted to lose on it. I do remember being hungry though.

I am starting it again tomorrow (March 31 2012). I did well on it back in the day and lost 30 pounds my first month. I was never hungry.

I have modified my cards (by using 2 decks of cards) to make it higher protein (10 protein cards instead of 7) and less starchy (2 servings) with 4 fats, 6 veggies and 2 fruit servings instead of 4. I also left out dairy for the first week but I will add those 2 cards back in after the week is up.

Kind of my paleo version of Deal A Meal.

I tried to cut and paste a picture of the new (deal a meal) its called foodmover instead of keeping up witha bunch of cards, all the card for a calorie count is printed on one card witha plastic cover with windows that you close as you eat.

Personally I like the cards better then the foodmover because you can individualize it to suit your dietary needs. I use a low carb version of the Deal A Meal (using various cards from 2 decks) and I have my own handmade case to keep my cards in and organized.

day 4 pinkswan how is it going?

i havent done the plan but i used to workout to RS ..fun and worked off pregnancy weight i gained way back when

It is going well. I am on plan and doing a RS workout once a day. I'm enjoying it and I am down 2 pounds as of this morning.

I also bought a diary at the bookstore to journal my weightloss, experiences and my thoughts. I was considering an online blog but I decided that I would rather use a paper diary to keep things private.

It has been a month since I started Deal A Meal and I have lost 35 pounds. That is way better then the first time I did it back in 1997. I doubt that type of loss will continue but for now I will take it.

That's an interesting idea to use those deal a meal cards (two decks) to make it work for you -- way to use the noggin!!!

Thanks. It realy works great and I am only eating 1500 calories. So much food!!
