Spyder- yes we ate the flank steak it was all stringy and not very good, I should have saved that nice piece of meat for the weekend when I could have grilled it, putting it in the crockpot made it just like regular roast beef, and not that great, LOL
I was down to 221 so it is coming back off, just had turkey meatballs for lunch, very tasty I scraped all the sauce off!!! |

I hope the pepsi max helps!!! You know, I've always been a pepsi fan. Regular and then diet. But I've gotten hooked on coke zero lately. Well, I buy the off brands too. Weird cause I always avoided coke. Though I am trying to drink more water than pop during the day. When I was in the nursing home last year I had to have a catheter in for 2 months. They'd have to empty it every couple of hours instead of once a shift cause I drank so much water. lol. They couldn't believe how much I drank, but I've always been that way. I usually have something with me at all times. Trying to make it a better choice of water now instead of diet pop!
Did my 3 mile walking dvd so I'm just sitting and relaxing now before I go fix dinner. The family is getting leftovers!! Need to empty out the refrigerator! Right now I'm not hungry for a thing! I just might eat a little later than the family tonight.

Afuentes- girl if I looked like you I would be walking around nude and be arrested, LOL My GF does the bikini competitions, she is 50 she looks awesome, now I know how hard she works for that bod!!!
So I met with the trainer, OMG I think she taught Jillian, what happened to my nice girl? The positive was she had me do not 5 but 12 mens push ups x 3 sets = 36 push ups, she was so freaking impressed she is like girl you are strong I am going to push you! OMG then the dips, 45 of them, and a variety of other torturous arm exercises followed up with ab torture!!! OMG I was sweating, slobbering, spitting, almost puking! My arms are so sore I can barely wipe the sweat from my face, I said darn it if that scale doesn't move tomorrow I give up! I am either going to lose 5 pounds or be up 15 from hulk like muscle growth, LOL So then make dinner, and then the run, OMG I am so dead!!!!!We went to the track tonight, it is gravel, basically the whole 25 minutes of run/walk I went 1 1/4 mile, I am now officially dead!!!!! Damn man I am old this is killing me, but her being impressed with me proves that this darn gym is working so even if the scale never moves I am going to be one tough ******!!! In my wonder woman costume, of course LOL

Hello everyone!
spydermonkey, good on handling the chocolate craving. I love Pepsi Max. Which was weird because before I did low carb, I wasn't much into sodas. But when I tasted Pepsi Max I fell in love with it. People think am crazy and think it's nasty stuff LOL I also like Coke Zero but I prefer Max. Lenise, how did you make the roast???? afuentes, wow! that's great and btw you look ah-mazing! bejewelme, wow what a workout! I'm so lame that I would've been crying and whining through it LOL So last night DH bought ice cream that I didn't eat LOL Today I'm down 1.2 lbs! The calculator said I would lose 5 lbs on attack, it might be right! ![]() |

Hi all!!! Amber, I don't know how you do all that exercising!!! Just the thought of it makes me tired!!! I don't like exercising at all, but I have been enjoying my walking dvds. I like the fact that there are arm exercises in the dvd. Feel like I'm doing more than when I just go out for a walk.
My dd painted my nails bright blue tonight!!! They look good but weird. I never wear nail polish cause I never have nails. But they're actually starting to grow now, though. Of course, I had to pick a bright color that everyone can see!! lol Dollkey, my dh is in charge of the grill. Have no idea what he uses on the roasts. Lots of different spices and herbs! And congrats on another loss today!! Hope you have a wonderful day!! And nighty night to everyone else in case I don't get back on here later!! |

I'm actually not sure where I found it I think on facebook. I will pull it and post it. Here is one of the options for dinner on Sunday. Can yall help me make it dukan friendly? ( Should I post this in the recipe section instead?) I know I have to get rid of the oil.
Beef with Peppers ■2 Tablespoons Cornstarch ■1 Tablespoon Minced Fresh Ginger ■2 cloves Garlic, Minced ■1 teaspoon Red Chile Paste (or A Few Dashes Red Chile Oil) ■2 Tablespoons Canola Oil ■1 whole Medium Yellow Onion Sliced ■2 whole Red Bell Peppers, Cored And Sliced Into Rings ■1 Tablespoon Diced Fresh Jalapeno (or 1 Teaspoon Dice Hot Pepper) ■Red Pepper Flakes, For Sprinkling

That looks like a good recipe you can have everything except the oil, so just use the non stick spray get the pan screaming hot and saute it all, you could add a little soy or beef broth if needed to thicken the sauce a bit.

here are the cookies
3 Tablespoons oatbran 2 Tablespoons sweetener (I'd use about 1/8 tsp stevia or to taste) 1/2 teaspoon baking POWDER 3/4 teaspoon ginger powder (or cinnamon! yum!) 1 teaspoon vanilla yogurt 1/2 egg white from 1 egg 3 drops vanilla essence Preheat oven to 180 degrees C (or 350 degrees F) Place all ingredients into a bowl and mix thoroughly with a spoon. It should not be too runny. Spoon out 2 - 3 cookies onto a baking tray. Bake for 12-15 minutes. Eat hot for soft; let cool for crunchy. I used plain greek yogurt |

I like the cauliflower rice, just grate raw cauliflower and then steam in the micro add some garlic and ginger and soy, yum!! I am just not a fan of those noodles, its the texture of them or something

Cauliflower rice!!! Yeah!!! I love making fried rice with the cauliflower. It tastes SO good!!! Has anyone tried that cauliflower pizza recipe? I want to, but haven't gotten around to it yet. So many recipes I want to try and not enough time!!!
I decided that I don't really like straining the yogurt. I think if I decide to try freezing any yogurt, I will strain it. But with the mix I do in the morning with my oat bran, I like the regular ff yogurt. There was an idea on the board somewhere about freezing the yogurt in ice cube trays and then mixing in the food processor for "ice cream". I really want to try that, but I want to get some flavored syrups first. Haven't been able to find any. I guess I'll have to go online and order some. the online kinds I've been able to find are sf vanilla and sf caramel. I want more options!!! Still at 217 this morning!! don't worry, Amber, you're going to have a good whoosh one of these days. you do so much exercising that I'm not surprised there are days with no loss. Wish I had your energy!! |

I am telling you the crystal light drink packets for a single water bottle, OMG so good mixed in the yogurt, I love the peach mango and the raspberry pomegrante or something, it looks all colorful and delish when you eat it, one thing with the yogurt I find you have to really stir it up, my GF adds a splash of milk to it also, not sure why I guess a texture issue?
Darn I am hoping for a whoosh, Tony think I need to lay off the intense exercise he thinks I should rest tonight and save up for the big spin class tomorrow morning, and he thinks I will see a loss, I sure hope so 2 pounds just 2 pounds off will thrill me and put me at a new low! |

I think I read about doing that with sf jello, which I won't eat cause it's made from pork. But I hadn't thought about the crystal light pkts. I'll have to try that!! Thanks!!!
We're rooting for you!!! |
