Sandy ~ the first week takes a lot out of you and exercising is almost impossible. That said Wendy Chant really did not address exercise in the Crack book ~ her second book "Conquer the Fat Loss Code" was the complete opposite and has LOTS of exercise. Wendy was a bodybuilder and certainly believed in exercise so not sure why she didn't really address it in the Crack book. Good Luck! |

I am here. I have been checking all week and it has been very quiet here. I had fish and chips Friday and that set me off for the weekend. Amazing how fast the weight comes back. This morning, it is back to the routine! We can do it! ![]() Annette |

Hello
Hi everyone, I'm new here. This looks like a great place for support for the CTFLC. I was hoping you guys could help me out. I have been on CTFLC for 2 weeks, am now on week 3 day 1. I messed up though and did week 3 instead of week 2 (I followed the menus for the macropatterning week in the back of the book thinking it was week 2). I didn't know what to do, so I am doing week 2 in place of week 3 and then will do week 4. Do you think this will mess up the plan? Thanks for any help. I love this WOE!

Hi everyone! Well I am back and need to get back seriously on this way of life!
I honestly do not feel as good as I did on CTFLC! I haven't been real "bad" up to about 3 weeks ago. Now my clothes are getting tight! I REFUSE to get on the scale until I actually begin so I know my loss. ![]() I see that a lot of you are still here and hope you are all well. I will catch up and read the old threads when I get a chance. So, I am inclined to start with a week of deplete. Do you guys think that would be a good idea?? As much as I don't want to, I think it would be better!! ![]() Mary, thanks for keeping this thread up! It is so nice to know I can come back to "friends" . Planning to restart next week after this hectic week. Have a great rest of the night and week everyone! Bonni |

Hello Ladies!!!!
Well we all KNOW what works BUT we have to be mentally prepared to just do it! You will do great when YOU are ready! ![]() Bonni if you are having problems with carbs (who doesn't) maybe you do need to deplete (or not LOL). |

I find that I do have to deplete to get back on track. I am still hovering around 31 pounds, but losing inches around hips, waist, abd., due to Zumba. |

Hi All,
I am just now reading the book. So, I am going to lurk for awhile, and learn from all of your successes! I must admit, it seems a bit complicated, but I am sure it becomes second nature after awhile. Any encouraging words would be appreciated! ![]() |

Hello,
Very nice to meet everyone. I am also new to the forum. My goal is to loose 30-34 pounds. I started this program on Monday. The first week went fine but I only lost 4 pounds. Probably some of it is the water weight. Tomorrow is the beginning of the second week. I really hope this diet will work for me as well as it works for you. This forum is very informative and encouraging and the people are great! I got the book yesterday and didn't have a chance to read everything. Debbie, can you please e-mail me the logs. I'll send you an e-mail. Thank you. Lana |

Week one completed, down 5 pounds.
I have two questions: What can I use for creamer in my coffee? During the carb deplete week I used 1/2 and 1/2, but I have no idea what's ok during the next cycle. This book drives me ![]() Also, she describes a carb serving of Ezekial bread as two slices, but one of her recipes (Wendy's Bulls Eye Breakfast, planner b,c,d) uses only one slice. Can I have one or two? I really appreciate any help from you "pros"! |

Margo ~ a serving of EZ bread is two slices UNLESS you choose the cinammon raisin and then it is only one slice. As Debbie stated many people used half n half in their coffee BUT it is not on the program. Ask your questions ~ I try to check this thread everyday ~ I will answer the questions that I can. Good Luck it is an excellent program. |

I do appreciate you help, and I know everyone else does too. ![]() OK, one thing that confuses me.....A recipe on p.251 is for a summer salad, and it calls for reduced fat sour cream and to uses planners b and d. I don't see any dairy (except for cottage cheese) listed anywhere as an acceptable food. Any thoughts? ![]() LOVE the Ezekial bread! Bonnie...We CAN do this!!! |

I don't have the book in front of me - but I remember that there are MANY mistakes in the book. I never used any of the recipes - I just followed the rules and made up my own. BTW... I used 1/2 1/2 in my coffee everyday (never more than 1 TBLS) and I lost just fine.
