Ok I am confused, book says day of 2nd. wk is baseline. Then I see somewhere else???? that it is C. Does it matter? Last time I shanged over to Conquer my 2nd. wk. but this time I am sticking to Crack for the 8weeks.

I was wondering when you would be back on after your surgery. Glad it went well Nettie ! Maybe now that you are feeling better your eating will improve. Let me tell you when I am feeling rotten I never want to eat right and.... that what got me gaining my weight back. I really don't want that to happen again, it seems as though it is harder for me to concentrate on GOOD EATING this time. Well we will be on our way to eating better together Nettie. Stay focused and strong !!!!

Hi Ladies -

Been soooo long - I guess without Wendy not a lot people are cracking! After a couple of years of gaining and gaining I guess I know what to do - cracking really helped me and will again - just finished my deplete...trying to keep it simple and do-able this time!

Not doing too good ladies sort of fell off the wagon.......going to start up and better at it on Monday. Haven't gave up just not eating too well, still trying just messing up at times. How is everyone else doing?

Any crackers still around?

I'm getting ready to get back on it! I was around here along time ago and got down to my all time low, weaned my baby, got pregnant, and now I'm nursing and trying to get back to my healthy low. I think for me that's about 118. I'm at about 128.

Can't do it too severe, so mainly trying to stick around 40 carbs/day... I read somewhere that ketosis isn't good for nurslings, is that right? Something about it releases toxins into your milk?

Hi Loukiti, I just saw your post. I have been checking back once in a while and never see anyone here. I hope someone sees your post. I am not sure about ketosis affecting nurslings. I would avoid it.

This sounds really interesting! For me it's back on the diet wagon tomorrow after a VERY indulgent December and I was going start back up with a meat and egg fast. I have been doing those off and on to get rid of the holiday carb bloat. After reading a little bit in this forum that would be pretty much the depletion week? I will have to order the book to get the details and try this WOE!

It probably is a good idea to get the book, but go to the 1st page of this link and you will see a lot of information from the book that Mary and others wrote.

Hi Bonni, nice to meet you! I did find the pages and was reading through it, lot's of helpful information on there! So I think I will stick with my plan by starting to do below 20 carbs tomorrow to deplete. But I'm not sure about calorie intake, do I use a specific amount? 1200? BMR? Above BMR? Happy medium?

I never counted calories - I just ate the specified amounts of protein and veg.
If I got hungry I ate a bit more. Worked for me!

I am still maintaining my weight loss!!

Erika!!! Great program ~ the "crack" book is much easier to follow than the conquer book. As Cynthia said No calorie counting just followed the food recommendations.

It did work for me though.
I lost almost 40 pounds and kept it off doing this program.
