Hi guys!! Found this thread wanted to pop in, hope you dont mind!

I did Atkins for about two years & came across this back then & found it enticing. I need to get back on track now after being way off course, thought I would finally give this a chance. I plan on starting depletion tomorrow. I have a copy of the book, bought what i needed to start (minus protein powder). I look forward to learning from you all who have been on this awhile! I am off to read mre & gather recipes! Lol

Happy New Year!!

Welcome back everyone.
Thanks for the advice. I did 3 deplete days and then had a few not so great days. But I ended up losing 2 pounds anyhow!
I will do a few deplete/carb down days and then get back very seriously!
Good luck to all of us!
Have a great week.

Thanks gals, good luck to you all as well!

Day 1 down on deplete... isnt too different from induction on adkins but you are restricted a bit more i think on this. Ending day with 17 carbs... trying to plan out tomorrow menu.... i hate to do eggs each morning & dont have protein powder, so maybe it is chicken! Yummm!

The sweet craving is kicking in tonight so i am going to brush my teeth & head to bed about 10. Ont get me wrong, i am not really hungry, just wanting sweet... which is unusual for me as i dont often do alot of sweets. Lol

Maybe this was posted earlier but.... can someone assist me with this question?

I am about to start week 2 tomorrow... which is a carb down day according to the schedule. However in the book, for meal plans, it is listed as a baseline day. Which should it be?? Are their other errors in there i havent come across yet ?? Thanks!! Hate to start on wrong foot so to speak! Lol

Ok, the baseline sample menu in the book is different than the baseline food log. Book says you get a FF dessert & log sheet doesnt show it. Which is correct?

How do you know what's correct to follow if part of the main components are given incorrectly??! lol am i missing something?! An old thread? Lol

TIA!!

Sorry sweetie! After a few days we found out the MOST errors were in the "menus" so I decided to make my own menus. Just keep with the guidelines and "allowed" foods and you will do FANTASTIC!!!

Here is a link to the "original" thread where everyone was "learning" the WOE together. HTH

Hi ladies glad to see you are here. Day 2 going well, not hungry at all, almost feel a little sick when I eat. I remember having this last time but not so soon. I have always said I have strange eating problem. It's not that I am physically hungry I am just the person who wants just to eat because it tastes good !!!! I always think about what I will eat next, is that just an emotional eating problem or am i not alone?
Well have a great day and good luck with the 3#Annette and Mary you are awesome at keeping this blog going and maintaining your loss.

JoAnne glad day 2 is going well! Remember you will feel "out of sorts" the first few days then you are suppose to get the "shift" and start feeling great.
I think all of us that have weight issues think about what we will eat next lol.
Deplete week IS HARD and I will be cheering you on. YOU CAN DO IT!!!

JoAnne ~ I know it is not good for me BUT I have NEVER given up my diet coke for ANY diet.
I say if that is what helps you during deplete week ~ go for it.

MY last day on deplete!!!! I hope I make it, family always has BAD food around on weekends It seemed a bite harder this time, I just want a cracker or toast. Monday is right around the corner and I can do it !!!! Down 7 lbs. so far, not too bad. I know I shouldn't weigh myself but just had to.
How was everyone elses week?
Weather in Wisconsin has been 20 degrees if not more warmer than normal, should drop a little more this week but still nice enough that I can get outside and start walking again. Have agreat rest of your weekend !!!!

Hi, Personally I do better when I weigh myself. I think you do what is best to keep you on track, and that is it for me. I am down 2 pounds but I was not on deplete. It is good considering I went out to eat twice.
I can't believe, here in Rhode Island in MARCH, I was at the beach 3 days last week!
I am having cataract surgery tomorrow morning, and I kind of baby myself with food. But I will call it a cheat day, then get back on the program.

Hi Everyone,
Just checked back to see what was happening and who was here.
Was talked into doing a different "program" with my husband, but my heart is really with this WOE. Am losing but very slowly. Don't really feel as well with carbs!!!

Hope your cataract surgery goes well tomorrow Nettie.

Mary, glad to see you have kept this site up and are doing well.
