No loss today, but no gain. I can't complain, I've still lost 2 lbs in 2 days
Pretty sure my no loss was due to eating 5 more meatballs and they had sauce on them. Sure the sauce had sugar in it.

Today so far
HB egg when I woke up
2 fried eggs, 2 sausage patties

I drink mostly ice tea, unsweetened, and have a Diet Pepsi a few times a week.

I'm having two problems sticking with this
My kids keep eating my hb eggs I'm going to have to go buy more.
I take ambien and trazadone at night to sleep. I have horrible lifelong insomnia, I can not sleep without these meds. I have had times before I took them where I would be up for 5 days and start hallucinating. Sometimes after I take my meds and before I am actually asleep but am in a fog, I eat. That's when I ate the 5 meatballs

Other than that I am feeling wonderful on this fast. I need to push food though because I'm not eating the 6 eggs a day.

Sleep. I love it so much, sadly it doesn't seem to like me.

I did good yesterday. Let me see if I can remember what I ate.
1 hb egg when I got up

2 fried eggs, 2 sausage patties for lunch

1 hb egg for a snack

1 hb egg, 2 slices of pastrami for a snack

1/2 rib eye for dinner.

I'm down another lb! 160 this morning , so about a lb a day loss so far.

Good morning to all. Congrats to those that have lost. I just started the plan again yesterday after being on an eating disaster and this morning, I was down 6#. Know it was probably water weight, but has to come off. I love this plan to get me started and encouraged.
Yesterday's menu:
2 fried eggs in butter
3 egg salad with small lettuce salad (have to eat this every day on account of meds)
3 fried eggs
Lots of water
Walked 20 min. 3 times for a total of 1 hour walking.

Today's menu will be about the same. Will see what happens.

Hello! Moving on to adding little more veggies. I lost about 2-3 lbs on M/E fast. I think the M/E fast is great to shake things up. I know I will come to it occasionally. Best of luck to everybody!!!

I've been doing cambridge/ MEC durring the week going to do a egg fast over the weekend.
last weekend I lost to 202 and have held 205 all week, hopefully get to hold 202 or lower this weekend thru next week

I've been very bad over the summer. Fell off the wagon and put on 15 pounds. For some strange reason I'm not able to get back on Atkins and begin where I left off. So I decided to try the egg protein diet to kick start me into gear. I just couldn't resist summer BBQs. Corn on the cob with butter, salads galore and ice cream. There's an ice cream place near me that make their own ice cream. That's all it takes is one cone on a really hot day and before you know it, I have to try almost every flavour. Baseball games and days at the track eat eat and eat. And sipping on Mikes all summer didn't help either. I just bought all new clothes in the Spring and now they are tight on me. I'm afraid if I don't get a grip, I won't be able to fit into any of them. Day three on the protein and egg diet and so far so good. Drinking lots of water. Day three already and my face doesn't look as swollen from all the carbs I ate. But my gut still looks and feels very swollen. I'm eating HB eggs, scrambled, fried and egg salad. Also chicken and beef on the BBQ plain. I'm trying to stay away from cheese because cheese has lots of salt. No veggies and no salads. I want to do this for 5 days and then add a salad the rest of the week. Then back on the egg protein diet for 3 days and add a salad the rest of the week and so forth and so on. I hope I can get rid of the 15 I gained and then move on and work on the rest I need to get off me to reach my goal weight.

B 2 or 3 eggs scrambled or fried in butter
L egg salad 2 eggs and mayo
D beef or chicken on BBQ no sauce
S HB egg or two when and if hungry
no coffee
1 diet pop a day
Lots of water

nellabella- I am also doing egg/meat diet again. I binged big time on fruits and my appetite went to the roof. I probably gained at least 5 lbs.

B: 2 scrambled eggs, 2 lamb burgers
L: 4 oopsie rolls with 2 lamb burgers and mayo
D: HB eggs with mayo

Hi tobelowcarber. Nice to have a buddy join me in the battle of the buldge. Day four and I blew it already. I did great all day but yesterday was the first day of a class I'm taking. Have to run directly from work to class and by 7:00 break time I was starving. I ate a half a roast beef sub. I was told not to worry and get right back on eatin eggs only which I'm doing. I have to devise something so that doesn't happen again. Bring more eggs to work to snack on for class days so I don't get hungry like that again.

Today
B 3scrambled eggs in butter
L 3 HB eggs with mayo for egg salad
D chicken breast fried in a pan until they are nice and crispy on outside

A ton of water today. I'm in and out of the bathroom all day so must have put on some extra water weight from yesterday from the carbs. Tomorrow I get to add a salad at lunch.

The oopsie rolls are a great idea. Thanks. I haven't made those in a long time. I'll make some on the weekend when I have time. We need variety so we don't get bored on this diet. Fortunately I love eggs. Good luck to you too. At least you didn't fall off the wagon as badly as I did.

Hello nellabella- Don't worry. As long as you get back on the wagon, you will be fine. My problem usually is when I try something carby, I go overboard.
I think having right food on hand is the key. I keep bunch of HB eggs around and they really help. I love oopsie rolls, but I have to watch out as I can pig out on them since they are so nice and fluffy

Today is my down day on JUDD so eating about 800 calories

B: 2 eggs cooked in 1/2 tbl butter
L: 4 oopsie rolls and 3 oz lamb burger with little mayo
D: 2 oppsie rolls with 1.5 oz lamb burgers

drinking lots of water
