I never heard of this fast before and I am so glad I ran into this thread. I love eggs and think I can do this for a couple of days. I am definitely gonna to start it tomorrow morning. tonight I am craving a fish sandwich.

I am starting the egg fast today. The plan is to do 3 days eggs only and than add some meat. Anyone wants to join me?

Today I will have:

B: 3 eggs cooked in butter
L: 4 eggs with mayo
D: 3 or 4 hardboiled eggs

I will check my starting weight tomorrow

I'll join you!

I finished an egg fast last week and then was bad this weekend I just did what was easy and had things like cheese and atkins bars, I haven't weighed myself yet but am sure that I gained. I would love to join you! I am going to do mostly eggs this time with perhaps a bit of other meat along the way (like tuna or ground turkey). Look forward to some eggs tomorrow!

Welcome galofthetao! Also had bad couple of days that's why I started the M/E fast. I don't want to check my scale, just hope to get back to where I was 3 days ago.
Yesterday I ended up eating 11 eggs. Today so far I had 2 HB for breakfast and 3 fried for lunch. I will also be adding some meat and fish in a couple of days.

Thanks for the welcome, I look forward to this. I totally identify with not wanting to get on the dreaded scale, I really believe we can do this though.
Unfortunately the scale seems to keep me honest so I will post my weights.
At 131 this morning.
So far today I've had:
-2 fried eggs
-2 scrambled eggs with 1 tblspn butter, chives, and bacon bits
-1 can tuna with 1 tblspn mayo

Going to the store to get more eggs.

I just ordered a new scale, as my old one just died (good timing ). I think I lost some weight since starting egg fast, I am feeling much lighter.

Today I had 2 scrambled eggs so far, lunch will be egg salad with mayo and more eggs for dinner. Tomorrow will add some fish or meat.

Ended yesterday with a turkey burger patty with mayo/mustard and 1 egg with mayo.
Today so far:
-2 hard boiled eggs
-2 hard boiled eggs w/ tblspn mayo
-2 hard boiled eggs w/ tblspn mayo

Scale is the same at 131.
Have you ever had egg creams? Just curious.

I added some meat and fish to eggs. I think 3 days on only eggs is enough.

Today I ate:
B: 2 scrambled eggs, 2 ground lamb patties
L: 4 scrambled eggs
D: baked salmon

Ugh really disappointed with myself yesterday, I really wanted to eat eggs and leaner proteins (basically no red meat) for at least three of four days and yesterday was at mall with husband and totally had a bunless burger! Grrrr. I have nothing against red meat I just want to see if I do better without it, I am also trying to cut out bacon and sausage. Soooo here is to another day filled with success!
By the way lamb sounds awesome but have never tried it, what's it like?
Also, do you ever use artificial sweetners like stevia or splenda and do you feel like they stall you in anyway?
Sorry for all of the questions, just curious about other peoples experiences.

I love lamb and eat it daily. I have no problem with red meat. In fact I lose weight by eating lamb I don't eat bacon and sausage. I only eat lamb, turkey, veal, rabbit and fish. I have never used AS. I don't like to consume any chemicals.

Wow tobelowcarber I just noticed your stats on the side: 136/123/115 does that mean your weight? If that is what it means than that is incredible, you are right in the range that I want to be in. What kind of things did you do to get there? I agree with artificial sweeteners, I would like to eat more clean and am thinking it is time for me to drop them. Thanks again for sharing!

The origanal plan is nothing but eggs and water for 7 days lose 10 lbs
thats a hard one to stick to for 7 days...

galofthetao- my weight right now is 123.8 lb. The goal is 115-120. I have been following blood type diet for many years ("Eat Right for your Type" by Dr Peter D'Adamo) and started Atkins in March 2012.

soontobesexy'ntx- Welcome! Nice to have you here. I don't know if I could ever do 7 days of eggs only. I did 3 days of pure eggs and now I am adding meat and fish to the eggs.

i'm an old time MEC (meat egg cheese ) dieter from way way back
Ive ben a LCF from 2000 til now.
you canr hardly find Egg fast on the nedernet anymore
but it was a lose 10 lbs in 1 week plan

Today's menu:

D: lamb roast

Next Tuesday is 10 days since stariting M/E fast. I think I will start adding some veggies. I really miss salad, so I will add this first.

Since I got new scale I can't really tell how much I lost. I think probably 1-2 lbs. My clothes are fitting better.

I started this today. I am up 5 lbs from my lowest weight
So far today
3 fried eggs, 3 pieces of bacon.

I'm trying to do pretty clean with just eggs and meat but maybe a little butter or CO, at least for a week. I just got a huge chunk of Havarti though and it will be hard to not resist that.

Also hoping my oldest daughter comes over so I can give her all my strawberry daiquiris I have in the freezer. I'm pretty sure they're why I gained 5 lbs.

I want to get solidly in the 150s. I go from 158-162 all the time but today was 163! I think if I can get to 152-155 I'll feel comfortable in the 150s. My goal is 135-140 sooo freaking close!

Omg this weekend has been awful for me. I had cheese at least twice and a bit of pb! That's a kiss of death to my weight goal! Totally off from where I want to be so back to the basics for me. I don't know why the last couple of weekends have been tough for me to stay on track but I know I can do this. Glad to have this forum to share my failures and triumphs with, thanks for listening guys! I will start logging foods again tomorrow, I find that I really need to write it down or else I just get lost.

tobelowcarber, glad you are doing well. In you weight loss efforts have you ever counted calories? I keep hearing conflicting info and am curious how many people actually do that as usually this woe doesn't require that.

I'm going to add them in slowly. I think I need to watch calories now. Never had to when I lost my initial 80 lbs, but this year long stall/plateau has got to end.

Ok today
3 fried eggs
3 pieces of bacon

2 hard boiled eggs
5 slices of pastrami

Going to try to do better tomorrow. I don't feel like I ate enough, but I haven't been hungry.

galofthetao- Been there that that. Don't worry, you did not stray too much. Try to plan ahead for the day what you are going to eat and have plenty HB eggs available in case the hunger strikes.
I have been an eating machine (I am getting scared at the amount of eggs I eat ) I think once I add little lettuce or other veggie to the mix I will feel more satisfied. I never really count the calories (maybe I should, as I am getting closer to the goal). Everyone is different in this respect. The only time I counted calories was when I did JUDD for a couple of months. I think counting carbs is enough for me for the time being. If I don't see a scale moving down, maybe I will have to count.

Good Moan-day!
Sat and Sunday I ate HB eggs
on Sat I bought a Veggie tray from WM to snack on it had
carrots, tomatoe, broc, snow peas and ranch
Sund I ate HB eggs and then for supper DH had made a Broc, chicken, rice and cheese casserole so I ate a small serving (he did cook for me)
weight this AM???
