Good morning. Hi Trans. Know you will be in those jeans soon. I'm just waiting until I can get smaller jeans. That just makes us feel so good, doesn't it?
I have been doing this WOE for a couple of days and am really having good results. It makes me more encouraged to get rid of some of my last weekend gain.

3/1 - 141.6
3/2 - 140.6
3/3 - 139.8
3/4 - 138.8
I stilll have 5 to go to get back where I was. I am going to pretty much eat today what I ate yesterday. I always tell myself that I will never do this again, but don't always listen to myself so I get out of control and gain again. Ugg

I'll re-commit to this tomorrow. I'll do my shopping today and will be prepared to do my best to eat super clean. I'll probably try to lower my fat this time... let's see how it goes

Thanks, Tran. You will do great and be back down before you know it. I have lost and gained soooo much in my lifetime. If I ever get at goal, I hope this time will be magic and I can keep my eating under control. It just gets harder and harder to lose.

Second day of my Eggfest and I'm down 3.2 pounds in just one day!! I ate 11 eggs yesterday with butter and cheese, and 9 eggs with butter and cheese today. Drank lots of water, coffee, and 2 diet cokes. I'm 172, and my goal is 155. I'm new to this forum, but am really enjoying reading your comments. Very encouraging!

Hi,
Congrats on your loss on the egg fast. I have had good results with that, too, and hope to start again Tuesday and see how it goes this time. I really enjoy eggs and seems like there are several ways to prepare them.
I have about 10 or so #'s to go, so thought this might be just the thing to get me going again.
I may try adding cheese, too.

Anyone in for Monday morning?? I am hungry for eggs, so this sounds like a good plan to get the week off to a good start.; I have had good luck with it before. Going to make some deviled eggs and bacon to munch on.

Good Happy Tuesday all!!
I'm giving Dr. Donaldsons Strong medicine a try taking it down to the most basic parts its MEC (meat egg cheese) with not less than 7 oz of protein at a meal last time I did this I lost to 194 from 230 and have slowly gained back up. Hope I can do it again or less before my DD's COLLEGE graduation in May.

Back after a long carb-filled hiatus. I have 3-1/2 weeks to fit into my bridesmaid dress so its meat and egging for this girl (mostly eggs w/a little cheese) and lots of water. Didn't weigh the first day but as of day 2 down 1.6lbs. So I'll take it. Hoping for double digits.

when I got home last night I didn't feel like cooking, DH said "dont worry about it I'll fix dinner" so I chilled on the couch and listened to him ramble around in teh kitchen slaming cabnets ect...then he said "dinners ready" not to long after that I was puzzled because it didn't take very long... His idea of supper?? grilled cheese and SPAM sandwiches... (and he knows I dont eat bread in any form) He cooked It and I ate it... this morning I'm so SNAT (sightly Nausous All the Time) and swollen my ankles are swollen, my fingers are swollen, my eyes are so swollen I cant hardly see, and I'm up a FULL POUND

Sorry to hear about that! At least he made an effort to make you dinner, so that was a sweet gesture! I hope you feel better soon too! Im sure once you get back on track better feelings will follow!

Finished Day 3 and now I am down another pound. Oddly, I wish it was going quicker but thats just because I am so impatient. My goal is to lose 4.4lbs by Monday so that would be a loss of 7lbs on my first week of Egging (around 1-1.2/lbs per day). I am out of eggs as of this morning so I am making a stop at the grocery store for more today.

Also has anyone tried the protein powder made with egg whites? I was thinking if you mixed it with water or SF almond milk that it would be something palatble to have on the egg fast, especially when I forgot to boil some eggs or dont have time to cook them

I will have to check out my grocery stores and see if they carry it.

Day 1: -1.8/lb (estimate)
Day 2: -1.6/lb
Day 3: -1.0/lb

Total = -2.6/lb +/- 1.8/lb

Food for the day:

Brunch:
-3 Eggs Scrambeled W-1 Tbsp. Butter & 1 Tbsp. Mozzarella Cheese

The salt or bloating from DH's spamwiches finally came off

ex: if he want me to make nachos I'll fix me a bowl of "toppings" meat, cheese, onions, Jalepenos, and nuke til bubbly

Down a little bit over 1/2 lb today, wish it was more, but I am spotting a lot so that may be some extra water retention. I also have a feeling Im not drinking enough water as I wake up super thirsty and with a dry mouth. Gotta fix that.

Day 5 of Egg/Protein Fast

I'm on day 5 of egg and protein fast and so far so good, although I am feeling low on energy but I attribute that to being back in LC after a long hiatus of not. I couldnt sleep well this morning and was up early, but I waited to weigh a few hours after I got up, which I am glad I did.

Day 1: -1.8/lb (estimate)
Day 2: -1.6/lb
Day 3: -1.0/lb
Day 4: -.6/lb
Day 5: -1.0/lb

Total: -4.2/lb +/- 1.8lb (~6lb)

A few of my friends are driving up to visit me for the night to go out, I would like to stick to 2 Diet Sodas and Vodka and since theyre coming up at night, hopefully I will have already eaten my dinner. If we go to breakfast in the morning I'll suggest Perkins so I can get an Omelet.

Tentative food for the day:

-2 Eggs W-1 Tbsp. Butter & 1 Tbsp. Sharp Cheddar

Broke my egg fast last night with dirty alcohol and a slice of pizza and an evil doughnut

Up around -.8/lb this morning (I actually thought itd be worse) but I am back on the wagon today. Not going to eat unless Im hungry today so my food intake will probably be lower. Hopefully I will be back to normal on the scale tommorow. Would love to see a pound or more loss by tommorow (shooting for a big number of 1.8 just to make it an even 7lbs).

did good all weekend until Sunday!
ate 4 (yes 4) breakfast tacos in white flour shells
to be honest I made scrambled egg omlette for me and had shells on the side for DH but they looked soooo good I ate 'em!!
then last night while watching TV I ate popcorn not high fat buttery yummy popcorn but 94% FF ACT II w/ parm cheese on it
BUT it was enough to puff me up 3 lbs
from 204 on Sat morning to 207.8 on Monday

Still a little up in weight from Saturday, but I am going down in the right direction and am working full steam ahead to do much better than last week. Going to eat really clean, with only an allowance for 1 diet soda per day (BIG step for me). No dairy, No salt, only eggs, and lots of water. I am also on my TOM so I know that losing this weight will be harder this week. I know its crazy but Im hoping for around 6-9lbs....

Down another pound this morning, better than nothing. Not quite getting sick of eggs yet either so thats good news. I have a cute dress to wear for a bachelorette party on Saturday so I am wanting to lose as much as possible before Saturday.

Week 1:
Day 1: -1.8/lb
Day 2: -1.6/lb
Day 3: -1.0/lb
Day 4: -.6/lb
Day 5: -1.0/lb
Day 6: +.8/lb (went off egg fast)
Day 7: -.4/lb
Total= -5.6/lbs

Week 2:
Day 8: -.4/lb
Day 9: -1.0/lb
Total= -1.4/lbs

Grand Total = -7.0/lbs

Food for the day:

-2 Hard Boiled Eggs
-2 Cups Black Coffee
-20 Oz. Water

nope you're not I'm just depressed, I actually saw 204 brefly
Tues was DH's birthday so I took him out to eat for bday lunch didn't over eat but ate off plan (fried shrimp ) and shopping to spend the money my dad sent him in his bday card. THEN his mom called and wanted to go out to eat for bday supper so that was 2 OTE's in 1 day and the dreaded mexi food at that !!
todays weight 210!!
I'm giving myself one more chance to lose weight on my own, DD graduates college in May then my other DD is getting married in June or July (2nd for both so just a trip to JP and a BBQ family reception) if I cant get this off by then I qualify for medicare Advantage in June and I'll start "jumpng thru the hoops" to get medicare to pay for WLS

Awh dont be depressed

The weight will come off quickly enough as Im sure you didnt actually gain 6 real pounds. You can do it! Lets persevere!

Starting to feel a little low on energy, I think it due to only egg eating

However, after a nap I do feel a little better. I would like more caffiene but I am going to stick to my water and see if that helps flush things through my system. Defintely in ketosis though, checked my strips this afternoon. So thats a good sign

Hoping that my TOM leaves soon and that I get a nice woosh on the scale.

Only slept about 4 hours last night, so I am surprised by the weight loss this morning. Starting to feel a little crabby and low on energy so I might try and up my food intake. Going to run to the grocery store today as well to pick up more eggs and some diet coke

Ketostix were very dark purple this morning which makes me feel justified and a little satisfied in what I am doing. I can see the bright light at the end of the tunnel.

Week 1:
Day 1: -1.8/lb
Day 2: -1.6/lb
Day 3: -1.0/lb
Day 4: -.6/lb
Day 5: -1.0/lb
Day 6: +.8/lb (went off egg fast)
Day 7: -.4/lb
Total= -5.6/lbs

Day 9: -1.0/lb
Day 10: -1.4/lb
Total= -2.8/lbs

Total= -8.4/lb in 10 days, not too shabby.
