Good morning losers!

Drinking my hot lemon water w/truvia today. Makes it more tolerable.
Down .4 today. Going to try a Kefir strawberry shake. Must do some exercise today. Did not do any yesterday.

Kind hang in there. When I was doing Atkins the first 3 months I was exercising everyday and my weight loss was slow but it did happen. I lost 15 lbs.

Sweetpea You go girl!! Congratulations!

Kaimi good for you. Getting exercise in with 3 kids. I know how it was having my twins and going back to work when they were 6 months old.

Shari, Daiseymarie, other Sweetpea and anybody else I missed. We will do this!!

Thank you! I have one in school (1st grade) and the 2 at home. Not ready too put them into daycare UNLESS I need it for appts., etc...I didn't put DD into daycare until a year old.
I'm not going to work for the rest of my life after these babies are old enough to go too school ~ I'm going to retire!

What kind of exercise is everyone else doing? I love, love to run INDOORS -never outside. or at least to where no one sees me. My girls are too big. I have a bad knee and I'm thankful that I "can" run.

I would lose 7-8#s in a good month and there hasn't been very many of them. Needless to say, I am a happy camper today!

I will stay on this plan for the full 3 Cycles which will take me thru vacation to May 30. I will decide at that point, depending on how much weight I gain or don't gain, whether or not I will go back to Cycle 1 or go to maintenance. Goal weight as per doctor is 160.
Congrats Sweetpea!!! Nice loss!!

Thanks everyone. I appreciate all your support and feedback. I am glad we are here for each other.

Kaimi--...My girls are too big...
My solution is to double sports bra. Saw someone else do that and thought, gee, that's a great idea!

Kaimi I was fortunate when my kids were young. My MIL had loss her job and voluntered to watch them. She lives next door. I had to go back to work at the time since I was the one with the health insurance. I wanted to be a SAHM but it didn't work out. I put the twins in a preschool when they were 3 and a half so they could interact with other children. Only 2 days a week.
My babies are 27 now.

As to exercising I usually do walking tapes. Some with weights or resistance bands. I really hate exercising. If the weather holds off maybe I'll go to the park and walk.

Hot water with lemon sounds like a great idea in the morning whether I am on 17 day or not. Does it perk up your senses?

The hot water w/Lemon is supposed to help your liver or something. I don't have the book here with me at work. I think of it as just cleaning the pipes and help things move along. Plus my innards are lemoney fresh!

Looks good except for the rice cakes--they have no nutritional value or fiber, just empty calories, IMO.

The book says the lemon stimulates your digestive juices. I think it does help things move along. Not my favorite though.

I did a little research and it's popular in many diet book out there. I can buy some lemon juice and throw a tablespoon in my hot water. I could do that! Not a fan of coffee anyway.

I saw this and hope you don't mind me jumping in. Half a lemon, squeezed then either microwaved in the cup of water, or boiling water poured over and allowed to steep 3-4 minutes has a natural diuretic effect. It seems to be more effective to use half an actual lemon than just juice -maybe some chemical that's brought out in the peel when heated?
Anyway, that was all, sorry for barging in

Yay Shari! Congrats on loss!

I'm down .4 again. I'll take it. Having a hard time getting motivated today. I think I'm still on my lazy cruise time. I really need to clean for Easter and get some more food at the store. Still not sure what I am going to do Easter. I might just take a sample of everything and get back on the diet the next day.

You can barge in anytime. Like your input. I do use real lemons. I get the hot water from my Keurig and squeeze half a lemon in. Been using some truvia though so I can drink it.

I'm sure you will do fine. I'm trying to figure out if I will cheat for Easter. If I eat small portions and get right back on Monday hopefully it won't derail me much.

Good luck and welcome to the group of losers! We wll do this!!

I'm using liquid lemon *for now* until I can get to the grocery store tomorrow. w/ splenda. We don't have truvia here, I'd have to order online.

Good to know, thanks for the info! I use a juicer and squeeze the juice from 1/2 a lemon...never knew I could just steep it instead.

Yeah, I hear you! The lemons, organic or not, were 79 cents each last week. I bought bottled lemon juice instead. I would prefer the real thing, but will wait...maybe the price will drop???...and I'll just keep holding my breath!

They sell organic lemon juice at Vitamin Shoppe for cheap. I am heading there today during lunch. I also am going to start my Bragg's ACV (that is with the mother) regimen again. 1T of ACV with some water. Drink it like a shot in the morning and then the evening.
