WOE: 17 Day Diet

Hello, I bought the 17 day diet book this weekend...still reading and still deciding if I want to try it. Can someone tell me if greek yogurt like Chobani is allowed on this plan? I read where he said greek yogurt is okay but then I saw mentioned it had to be sugarfree. Chobani is not sugar free due to the natural sugars from the fruit inside. Just wondering if eating greek yogurt does it have to be plain?

Beth,
It is hard to find sugar free yogurt.I love Chobani.and have used.
I also found greek yogurt plain that had added sugar. U have to look and see what has the lowest sugar. But, I still think u would do ok with Chobani, if u like it better.
Now instead of using yogurt.we have been having 2 kefier.Plain. and adding fruit>like berries or banana.and 1-2T turvia.{ Use frozen berries or even freeze Banana if you like it thick.{I do.
Then when we have our last kefier{And already had our fruits before 2. I put kefier in blender. with 2-3T no sugar jam and 2T ground flax seed. And 1-2T turvia.
I even like to put on freezer for 1-2 hrs. and take out and it is like eating icecream.
I see u are in In.??Im too. North west.
What ever u do. Just find some thing that will work for you and that u like.

I will be on 17 cycle 2 Monday and see how that goes. Some loose alot and some O and then there is me slow but looseing.
Come here and talk. it helps.

Thanks for the info Janet! Chobani is my favorite, but I do like Fage too. I have ate plain Fage and added a little splenda and berries to it ands its close favorite! What exactly is Kefier and where can I find it in the grocery store? This is the first I have ever heard of this stuff.

I have been eating plain greek yogurt w/ s/f chocolate syrup w/ 1 pkt of splenda. I'm not sure how many calories / fat / sugar it is because it's in Greek.
Also, I buy dannon yogurt w/ fruit but NOT fruit in the bottom and just buy the lowest possible w/ sugar. Works for me. So far, in 17 days I have lost 7 pounds -- BUT -- probably blew it w/ a several days of PMS eating.. For me, 7 pounds is good and I'm happy with that.

Chobani is perfectly acceptable. Sugars should be be less than 13 g.

Please feel free to browse the first couple of weeks of my journal. This will give you a good sense of what to expect and what I ate. If you have any questions, please feel free to ask.

Good luck,
Jane

Congrats on the weight loss so far! I was a daily weigher, too. My loss was slow and I would notice my loss more at the end of the cycle. Even though the scale might not show it you are losing inches.
