It must be a pork chop kind of day. Not sure if you know but the sweet potato has to be eaten before 2pm just like fruit. Thats the only thing I hate now that I can't have a starch with dinner.

Congrats on the 12 lb loss! I'm on cycle 2 day 4. I lost 6.6 lbs on cycle 1.

Those blizzards are good. I had a mint oreo one before I started this diet. Yum!

Sounds like you have a plan. I still find it difficult to get the fruits and the starches eaten before 2:00 pm cutoff--like today--missed the second starch. Should have eaten 2 power cookies for breakfast! Right--StarryN!!!

Welcome to our group and congrats on your losses!! Do you also post on the doctors site? There was some over there who was also having a planned cheat with a DQ Blizzard. Yesterday we went by our local ice cream establishment and they have something called Only 8--FF and SF frozen yogurt that is 8 cal/oz; comes in vanilla, chocolate or swirl--not bad and satisfied the "sweet" need.

The day got away from me--again! Missed lunch and just had dinner. I did eat my 2 fruits but missing my second probiotic. Not sure if I will be hungry enough for a snack later.

I had a peach smoothie right after 2. It was like dessert.
I had pork chop and brussel sprouts for dinner. I could hardly finish the pork chop and to think I used to eat 2 or half of another. You could make mock chocolate pudding if you need a snack.

I take a cup of ff plain yogurt, tsp or more of unsweetened cocoa, and a pkt of truvia or I have used vanilla flavored ff yogurt w/ cocoa and some ice chips and put it in a blender and had a milkshake. Not bad for a chocolate fix.

I just turned 58. I hear ya. I think once I went thru menopause my metobolism sucks. Maybe you will show a weight loss today. Yesterday I was up 1.2 lb and today I am down 1.8 Go figure. I drink lipton diet green mixed berry tea. I like it better than hot tea. I'm hanging in there. I'm getting close to the 140's I can feel it. I'm sure the scale will start moving again soon for you.

Yes, party girl had too many beers over the past 2 days.
Ok, going too stay 2 days extra for my BAD behavior for Mother's Day. Today, is day 7.

NOT. I'm 101% a tankini girl. Besides, can't swim.

Are you eating enough protein and veggies?? Are you constipated??? I have a problem with the green tea and constipation, so I stopped drinking it. I weighed in yesterday and was up 1# from C2D1; weighed myself this morning (and I usually don't weigh every day), and I lost the 1#. Could be the weather too. Someone told me that your weight also fluctuates with the barometric pressure.

Hang in there--we are all in the same boat.

We are just about the same age--I am 57.5. Yup--welcome to our post menopausal world where hormones no longer exist and bodies don't function like they used to.

I'm very close all week!

I'm 43 y/o and weight doesn't come off like it used too! TMI, but I'm having the big "d" again - is this normal?? I guess the plan is working and getting rid of all the "toxins" that I put into my body over the last few days. I asked dh last week if he had the same problem and he told me that he's been eating the same foods as I have and no problem. I told him to filler up on lemon water and green tea and see if it does the trick.
