low carb clean eating

I hope this thread continues-- I've been trying to find one like this for a week!

I started in february as strict lo carb. During this second month i am adding some of the clean eating ideas to make it more liveable, especially with family and family functions. They are not all TR's rules- I am kinda tweeking it as i go (however 20 years of dieting I should be given an honorary dieticians license lol!)- but I know that I last about 6 weeks on anything "strict" then binge....even lc.The clean eating change seems to have worked and I am still losing weight (slowlY) and proud that I feel like i am really making life changes. Still no flour, sugar, rice, pasta,potatoes, but i have added steel cut oatmeal and friut (1-2 sevings /day mostly the lower carb berries and canteloupe). I allow myself some ezekial bread once or twice a week. also i took a tip from Oprahs trainer (Bob?) and cut off eating for the evening at 7 or 7:30. Except once a week if I want to watch a movie and want a snack to nosh on. And water...omg the water 100-120 oz day!
If I feel like I need a quick loss I'll return to strict low carb for a week. But for now this is keeping me sane. Now that I think about it. Its kinda the way that Dr Atkins intended his diet to progress!
