I'm not doing too well on Dukan if I continue to eat the carby stuff!

Warm weather makes me want to eat bbq and drink beer..Tex/Mex, etc. etc.

Hi all!
Sorry for not posting regularly!
I am still doing my Consolidation phase, and doing well! I lost 2 more pounds on it, and I think my weight is stabilising nicely!
Total lost is 17lbs now, and hopefully staying there!

Dukan really works for me!

It took me about 8 weeks, so not too shabby!

I stuck to the diet exactly, no exceptions. It was tough, but now in consolidation I am a lot more flexible, which makes me a less complicated eating companion, LOL!
I am sticking to this phase to the letter as well, since it has worked well for me up till now.

This thread really died out fast, and sorry but I am an abandoner as well! I have started doing a Modified VLC/CAD-CALP which is easier for me. I like the Keep It Simple plan when it comes to eating so I am doing this:

3 days a week
Breakfast/Lunch - Protein Shakes or nothing if I am not hungry
Dinner - CAD/CALP Balanced Reward Meal (balanced protein/veggies/whatever carbs I want)

4 days a week
Breakfast/Lunch - Protein Shakes or nothing if I am not hungry
Dinner - VLC (protein with a little bit of veggies and some fat like mayo or butter)

Pretty easy, I like the flexibility of the RM and the scale keeps dropping.

Good luck to those still doing Dukan!

I jumped off of Dukan to do the HCG diet. I lost a little over 18lbs in 3 weeks doing that and am stabilizing that loss. I will probably go back to doing Dukan mid July but I'm not sure as I have enjoyed incorporating a little fruit in to my eating plan.

Mel.... Sooz goes from being strict on her plan to not caring!! I am still interested in Dukan but heck, right now I'm just wanting to eat what I want when I want for at least a few meals a week!! In the end I just want to do a "Dukan Style" diet where I can eat what I want and do all protein one day a week not to gain. Not thinkin' that'll work!

Barb : Isn't that HCG diet only 500 calories a day?? If you can do that, you can do ANYTHING!! Congratulations on you loss!!

Daisey: hope you feel better soon!!

Daisey - Get well soon!!

Sooz - yes...500 calories a day. I ended after a short round. Never did feel good on it. I did it to support my mom who wanted a buddy on it. She is almost done with a full round and has lost over 20lbs in a month. She feels well on it though. I'm not having any trouble stabilizing what I lost (which I had feared) so I'm glad to have blasted down a full pant size early in the summer. Have a lot more clothes now!

Nice blast! And good to have more summer clothes! If you like having fruit, maybe you should look at CAD/CALP. You can have carbs every day on that plan.

Hello friends. I was just on the Dukan diet web site. They are now offering coaching. The cost for me based on how long I would have to be on was L 640.4 what does that mean in dollars? Does anyone know?

twistedkitten...I am not on it yet, but I am looking at getting the book and trying it...I would like to loose a bit faster.. I've been on low carb since January and have only lost 19 lbs,,, I would like to see a bit more come off faster, as I am a ways from my goal.
