These are a little sweet for me (but not for my kids) so I am going to try them with no splenda next. Will let you know how it goes.

that's something MY dh would do.

I'm writing down a few things off of the chips page - um, 281 what? pringles, kettle cooked and goldfish crackers but c'mon who can eat 55 pieces. I'm also going to look for the Mission tortilla triangles for Sunday. What? 10 chips? Gosh, I could eat the whole bag. Well, maybe not those but Doritos.

I am really happy to see that others are having success with this. Both of my parents just started this diet and are pretty gung-ho about it.

I'm subscribing so I can stay up to date.

I'm sorry. Yes drain and rinse the beans really really well. It gets rid of the "beanie" taste.

If you guse butternut, you have to double the carb count. A cup of Spaghetti Squash has 10 carbs compared to 22 in the butternut.

Basically, you want a moist squash that's low in carbs. I suppose you could use zucchini but I haven't tried it that way yet.

Let us know what you use and how it comes out. Can't wait to see the results.

I decided to try this..thought I would share some of my finds at the grocery store. I'll give the carb servings/sugar grams per serving content..

Smuckers Sugar Free Strawberry Jam 0/0
Sugar Free Jello Pudding Snacks 1/0
Sugar Free Jello 0/0
All Natural Sugar Free Pancake and Waffle Mix 1/0
Tostito Dipping Strips 1/0
Arnold Select Sandwich Thin Buns 2/2
Jay Robb Whey Protein Powder 0/0

Of course, all meats and cheeses would have 0/0, but check lables to be sure.

Had a lot of fun reading the labels, comparing sugar and carb contents.

There were a bunch of items at the local grocery store that would work on the diet. I know some people are hung up on some of the items from the book being hard to find, but honestly, you should be able to make this work with the food items at your local store.

I got his email saying he'd share it when I entered my email address, but there's no where on the email to enter my address. It's so frustrating!

Congrats on your success!! Are you using his foods he suggests or doing the sugar/carb ratio? Also, have you tried any of his recipes?

I don't remember if anyone on here was doing a much lower carb plan and then switched to this plan--if so, are your losses better/worse with this plan than your lower carb plan? I hope my question makes sense!

Down another 3 lbs this week! Total of 15 lbs in four weeks. Love this diet. So many different things you can eat on this diet compared to other low carb diets.

27.5 pounds Gone in 6.5 Weeks

It is a great program! Love it and it is easy. Not expensive and never feel deprived.

This diet is "freeing". It really is. My son is down 25 and we are having a blast with just living life and not being "mentally" chained to food. My food bill has shrunk by about $60 a week.

We have so much energy that we now both exercise between 30 and 45 minutes a day, 5 days a week. When we started, we were huffing and puffing and could only do 16 minutes of Gilad Express workout. We are now doing Jari Love, Hip Hop Abs, Brazilian Butt lift (it is giving my son great calves and great thigh definition!), Melt it Off with Mitch and I am ordering Patrick Goudeau's Patrick Goudeau's Hard Work Conditioning 24/7 this week as a treat for both of us.

Our overall HEALTH has changed. We are no longer couch potatoes eating an imbalanced diet. This is the first summer in a LONG time that I am actually excited about doing more and being truly comfortable. We always go to Vermont and now I will be more active in more sports and hiking.

I think we live near one another Sista Diva.

I've increased my exercise. Remember when I told you that I am never sore for some reason? Honestly- the harder I work out the better I feel. I've been lifting weights, using stretchy bands, doing squats, exercise videos, walking with jogging fast intervals, and riding my incumbrant bike. The energy is just amazing on this diet and you feel it in the first week of doing it.

Never being hungry is just amazing and so very new to me- especially with all the great stuff that I eat! When I think about how much I was starving on low calorie diets and how sick I got on Atkins because of too much protein, I shudder. I don't want to go back to those diets ever again. If I can continue to lose to just one pound a week average from here on out I'll be a happy camper.

I am in the Boston Metro area!!

Tell me about the "never hungry". I sometimes have "forced" myself to eat because I am never hungry. It gets a little "weird" around that time of the month though. I am one day "starving" and the next day can barely get one meal in. I will see how it works next month. I don't believe in counting calories and that low fat/fake food nonsense. I was ALWAYS starving on Weight Watchers..

Me weightloss will no doubt slow down, but you know, I am not a slave to the scale. I am blessed that my body has responded to this diet well and I never thought almost 7 weeks ago, I would now be down by 27.5 pounds. The fact that I am exercising, sugar free and just feeling good is good enough for me.

Yes, the ENERGY is INCREDIBLE! I never feel deprived or without. Eating is both pleasurable and stress free. It is also now "intuitive" which has always been a goal of mine. I have always wanted to crave in a "healthy" way and I automatically want protein, beans, veggies and now water a great deal. I can tell when in a social situation when I have had enough carbs..My body automatically just does not want it. I have learned to control my potato love and not get into "TRIGGER FOOD" mode. I crave fish all the time for the last week or so. I eat my burgers and chops, but I am really eating a lot fish because I crave it. Believe me, I hated fish. I just feel like I felt in my 20s..

Again, my goal is HEALTH...the weight will come off on its own.

You are doing your thing, Lady!! I am so proud and happy for you!!

I am down about 7lbs in 14 days, of course, I didn't stick to the plan, completely....it is hard to believe you can still lose weight with the amount of carbs allowed on this diet. Looking forward to staying on task getting to my goal!
