Rosedale Diet

I'm just reading through the book now and am impressed with the information. Anybody here doing this diet or is everyone on Atkins Induction?

I am doing Atkins, but I have the Rosedale book and I love the recipes. Tried a number of them before starting Atkins. When I am closer to my goal weight (and therefore able to eat more fruits/vegies), I will probably use them even more.

I love the Rosedale diet and lost about 10 lbs off of it.

WOE: Low Carb High Fat (Rosedale)
Hi

I've been doing the Rosedale diet for about a month. I started right after hurricane Ike. I have lost five pounds but seem to not be losing anymore. I don't follow it closely though. He for some reason doesn't like a lot of saturated fat. I love coconut oil but since doing Rosedale have cut it down quite a bit.

My main goal is to get my fasting glucose down but so far that hasn't happened yet.

Just started Rosedale but use the 5 rules from The Leptin Diet book. I'm waiting for Rosedale to arrive at Library this week sometime so am kind of winging it from reading various reviews til then.
Can someone please tell me what your choices are for breakfast ? Are any whole grains allowed in first 3 wks ? (or after) also I haven't seen turkey mentioned except for sausage...did I miss it or is it NOT allowed ?

Would also love to see some of your daily menues for ideas....thanks so much.

Insulin, Leptin, Diabetes, and Aging: Not So Strange Bedfellows
I found this article by Rosedale about the role of leptin and insulin very helpful .
It explains why he is so keen to reduce sweet fruit intake so much and this more recent research shows he was ahead of other scientists in identifying the underlying cause of fat accumulation
(Fructose-induced leptin resistance exacerbates weight gain in response to subsequent high-fat feeding.

After reading through Dr. Rosedale's material it is actually quite close to what I'm doing during transition of my egg/protein fast rotation.
