guess not? i came on today to look and see if anyone is following the zone. i started it today, did it very shortly last year. didnt lose, but really didnt give it time to see. i just remember how good i felt following it. not tired and bloated as when im not following any plan, and not weak sickly as when im on atkins. i love the super fast weight loss on atkins, but ive been looking around to find something that makes me feel better.

I did it a long time ago. Probably in the middle nineties. It's a good diet but too hard to stay on for me. Too much thinking about the macronutrients and unless I followed recipes I never was sure I had the right amount of carbs. I need something more cut and dry.

An easier version of the Zone Diet is the Insulin Resistance Diet. Same concept, but a LOT easier to follow.
I've been doing the vegan thing and feel awful. I really need my protein. I did the IR Diet a few years ago and may return. I started with the Zone Diet and felt the healthiest I've ever felt in my life but it was impossible to stick to (all thos food blocks). The Insulin Resistance Diet is a lot easier to follow. Over 100 positive reviews of it on amazon! |

Hi.
I have the Zone book. but it was hard to do. I have been reading into doing the Eat to Live diet.and most likely will do that. You just have to find something you can do for life and work with that. Also keep that body moving and do weight training. |

kind, check out The Insulin Resistance Diet, written by an endocrinologist.
It's a much easier version of the Zone, based on the same principles of balancing carbs and proteins. I'm really enjoying it. You can check out the reviews on amazon - wow 115 positive reviews! The book is a good read. |
