Hey - well I'm not doing PSMF after all. Just can't stick with it and I'm doing a more moderate plan now for awhile, at least until I feel more motivated.

Good luck to everyone still PSMF-in'!!

Well, I'd love to do PSMF especially before my parent's big 50th anniversary bash on the 27th but I am dirt poor. I started school and can barely pay for my book, parking, and gas. But I'm going to see if I have enough chicken in the freezer. I have plenty of protein powder, veggies, eggs (whites), sf ff jello, I guess I can do it with that. Just no tuna or cottage cheese.

Yay, my mom just bought some chicken breasts. So I think I should be ok for a PSMF. It's TOM time so I'm not weighing in until it's over. Now that school started I should be able to avoid the BF and his tempting food. Hopefully.

I basically took the whole weekend off, from Friday night to Sunday night. Considering that I haven't been eating on plan and having too many meals &/or days off, I'm pretty surprised that I've lost the amount I have in the last couple of weeks.

I need to buckle down for the next month though. I'd like to be under 200lbs in about a month. Every year my DH's work does a yearly exam and if we improve our health, the insurance company will give us an incentive, like dropping our rates. Mid-October last year, I was weighed in at 199lbs.

I still think that considering averaging out what I've lost so far, it works out to about 2lbs/week. Not too shabby. The problem is that I know that I could have lost more if I'd eaten on plan. So my goal is to make sure I don't let things get me side-tracked and keep eating on plan for the next four weeks straight.

Hey, IreneStardust! It looks like we both have a timeframe goal in mind that close. I'll cheer you on, if you cheer me on!! I wonder where everyone is???

Starting Weight: __________225lbs
Weeks 1-3: -8.5lbs _______216.5lbs
7/30/08 - 8/10/08 - Diet break, sick & TOM.
Weeks 4-6: -4lbs _________212.5lbs
9/4-9/8 - ???
9/9/08 - 213lbs _________+.5lbs

Well, that was a nice drop overnight.

My mini-goal now is to lose at least 11lbs in the next 4-5 weeks. I'd really like to be under 200lbs before the weigh in at the yearly exam.

Weeks 1-3: -8.5lbs _______216.5lbs
7/30/08 - 8/10/08 - Diet break, sick & TOM.
Weeks 4-6: -4lbs _________212.5lbs
9/4-9/8 - ???
9/9/08 - 213lbs __________+.5lbs
9/10/08 - 210.5lbs _______-2.5lbs
Week 7: -2lbs ____________210.5lbs

I am on the PSMF since August 13th so actually its been 1 month today! I am on a supervised PSMF through the Cleveland Clinic and when I started a month ago I weighed 229.5 lbs. I weighed myself today and........................TA DAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA..............205.5. I have not had any cheat days and the way I understand is that until I reach my goal weight...I will be eating the same foods I am eating now. (though I am hoping I am wrong!.....getting BORED here !)

Anyhow I was so glad to find this thread! Would like to hear from you and especially ones that may have been on the Cleveland Clinic PSMF!

hi there....back on the wagon and it's day 2 for me. This is not the first time doing PSMF for me, so obviously I feel as though it works (for me at least!)

Fantastic results for your first month by the way!!! Keep up the great work!

What happened to everyone else??? I know I haven't popped in regularly in quite some time, but even so there were quite a few people just a month or so ago!

Sdecosta~ HOLY CRAP!!! Talk about an amazing week. Awsome job just seems like such an understatement. Can you share some of your typical menus??? Are you doing the EC stack or anything other supplements?

I am not weighing in until Monday most likely. Also had TOM this week.
Scared to look at the scale before losing the initial water weight. I was doing great on PSMF right before the summer time and then, well, life got in the way..LOL My sister is getting married next Sept. so that is definitely a motivating factor. I would like to be down to around 140-145 - which for my build I can typically be wearing a size 4/6 at that weight.

I am trying to plan out my menu today, but I am traveling down to RI this weekend with the kiddos so I know that likely means stopping somewhere quick to eat.

Friday's Menu

11 oz EAS protein shake w/ 1 scoop Any Whey protein powder

.5C eggbeaters w/ slice FF American cheese

1 oz deli Turkey w/ .33C lowfat cottage cheese combined with .33scoop pp and 1 oz strawberries

1/2 Mcdonald's bacon ranch grilled chix salad, 1 hamburg (no bun) ???????

Total: 597 16F/14.9C/94.3P

caffeine (200mg) & 25mg Ephedrine (Bronkaid) stack 2 X day
