So, I learned a lot this week.

I have to get back into planning my menus in the morning (been slacking). I have to figure in my late night snacks and stick to it.....no bites of anything as I walk thru the kitchen.

Now that the kids are in camp 3 days a week, there is no excuse for not exercising.

I am thrilled that my addiction to Diet Pepsi is almost gone.....go figure.....never thought that would happen. I think I had 3 cans in the past week. I would have gone thru at least three 2liter bottles in that time.

I have to get back to the basics.....and make sure all the guidelines are being met before going for a snack.

I have to work tonight, so I may not be back until the morning !! Post your water challenge results when you can......I'll probably update the totals when I wake up tomorrow afternoon.

Sounds like a good plan Reg. I went to kmart today and saw a WW cookbook on sale so I bought it, hopefully it will inspire some good receipes

See if you can get her cook book from the library to test drive it. If you go to her website she shows pictures of all the recipes w/ POINTS Values (but you have to buy the book for the actual recipe)

Hey Rockstars!

I'm a bad buddy right now. This new job has me mentally and physically exhausted...started on Monday. I'll get into the routine soon enough. Can't really post at work though...at least not yet...not my first week!

So, I'm drinking all kinds of water and will particpate in this water drinking challenge as soon as I can post more.

I'm way up. By way up, I mean way up. No joke. 4th of July partying killed me. Then last week was last week of work partying along with garage sale partying which moved into weekend partying and has kind of trickled into week 1 of new job partying. I am up 10 pounds.

Bad bad bad. It's all good, though. I know how to take care of this...no worries, I'm not leaving WW. I've just got to get back on track. Next week I'm going to Kick Start it. No parties on the horizon next week, so I should be able to kick some major butt!

Wish me well...

Congrats to all our losers!

not so good on the water yesterday...I'm addicted to Snapple diet iced tea for sure, and I drink A LOT of diet cokes at work (I work nights). I just cleaned my WW green water jug...I work this weekend so I'm going to bring it with me.

The recipes are above the pictures. Click the link to open in a new window, then walk away from your computer.....do not multitask. Everything will load up (eventually).

The site snags up my computer in the worst way.

We're having a "Friends BBQ" tomorrow. I was told by DH that "basically it'll be a small party" (many of his friends from work can't come). I'm thinking about a dozen people. I've been asking DH for a head count for weeks and *nada*. I made him sit down and write the names down and there are freakin' 30 people coming.

I have been running around all day cooking and shopping. I got 2 hours of sleep before being woken up by the neighbor 7 yr old "Can we come over?" (read: parents work, needed someone to watch kids). I ignored message, never called back.

So, the last time I really got to sleep was Wednesday night.

My brownies are sticking and I am eating the pieces as they fall apart. I have to leave for work in a hour.

Here's today's menu......I'm sticking to it......no adjustments

Heya folks! I didn't manage to get online any this past week, since work has been so hectic and I've had so much to do at home, but I managed to stay core all week, used some activity and weekly points, and have loved it! Core is awesome! And much easier than I'd expected! As of 2 weeks ago today, I was up 6 pounds from the previous WI, and this morning, I found myself down a pound from the weigh in, so that's really a 7 pound loss in 2 weeks, and I'm rather pleased with that! (I'm sure those 6 pounds were real, not water weight, too, because I ate terribly!)

One of the biggest changes for me has been dropping those 100 cal packs ... they were just too much for me to handle with the points system. Meals and snacks I prepare and eat now seem much more filling, and I find I'm eating less often and feeling satisfied longer. It's a great feeling!

I'll try to check back later and read up on what's up with everyone!

I was happy it wasn't the full-on 10 I expected

No worries, back on track...tomorrow. I'm going to do kick-start for 2 weeks. This is real life, right? It happens.
