weigh in day is a good day to start over i think, so i am going to get back on track, and get a work out in today. i have the turbo jam dvd's, and i like them. if i dont go walking tonight, then that is what i will do.
I have the turbo jam dvds too. They're great. Too bad I don't use them like I should. Considering the fact that you've been sick for 2 weeks I think you're doing great! Next week will definitely be better.

I had the scale sitting next to me at the table, searched thru the database for beef, cooked, sirloin...put all my meat on it before chowing down and VOILA! 7 points. I knew one was enough (now, honestly, I would have known one was enough anyway, but I would have guestimated on the points).

Happiness.
Oh I love mine too!! At first I thought it was way too expensive but I'm glad I broke down and bought it. I use it all the time!!

Well, having a snack at 5 yesterday worked out terrific. When I got home after 6 I wasn't shakey or starving like I usually am. I sat down and added up all my points for the day and adding that extra bowl of cereal was wonderful! I ended up with eating 24 points for the day!

So I'm doing the same thing today!

My Menu:

1 cup Total cereal with raisins/1/2 Cup Skim Milk

1/2 Turkey Sandwich (Made with the good whole grain bread) with 1/2 cup baked chips

One Reece's cup snack OR M & M fun pack= 2 points for those that are counting!

Cereal for snack before I go home....

Dinner ???? Maybe chicken and some FF potato salad. Not sure. Depends on how hot it is.

It is my Friday~~~~ Everyone have a WONDERFUL weekend and I'll be back on Monday or tuesday. OH and even though it's TOM week. I showed a loss this morning!!!
Congrats on the loss...especially with TOM. Keep up the good work!!

Have a great day all!
You know I saw those crusting creations in the store but didn't pick them up. I'll try them next time. Thanks for letting us know! I bet you'll earn a lot of points building that shed. Have a great weekend!

Question regarding points. If its 25 cals 0 fat 0 fiber and falls on the line of 0 and 1 point which do you count?

You'll show a loss next week!

I begged to go to the outlets while on vacation and made a deal with the family that we could go out to eat afterwards.

We hit my 2 favorite obsession stores (for those of you who hit my blog know, they are COACH & Sketchers).

I got a nice pair of black lace up sneakers and a pair of flip flops with rivets @Sketchers, a pair of NB Cross Trainers for walking, and a bunch of stuff at COACH .

1 Black Skinny Mini
1 Gold Skinny Mini
1 Black Coin Purse
1 Black Contact Lens Case
1 Double Picture Key Fob
1 Cosmetic Case

We went to Applebee;s for dinner......I didnt have anything from the WW menu, but had a Grilled Chicken Ceasar Salad with dressing on the side. Everyone else got fatteing stuff, LOL.

It was a nice day.
Sounds like you did some pretty good shopping! Have fun!

Hello All,

Seems I am MIA often these days. Life is just not calming down.
Last Saturday I did a night race out of state with a friend/co-worker but it turn out to be a surprise support team from my co-workers. It was 5 females and 1 male riding. We did finish the 50 miles but we finished last. They had mapped out the Pub's on the bike route and we made 3 beverage stops.
NEVER go to a comedy club/pub dresses in bike gear! OMG, we ended up on stage. What a hoot!!

I could barely walk for 2 days after the 50 miles.

I worked 1/2 days this week due to medical issues. I spend the other 1/2 day napping. Doctor stopped my abusing caffeine addiction Monday and I am not tolerating well. Headache, tired, grumpy, aching and depressed.

Hope it goes away before tomorrow.

I did not go to WW today. Doctor wants me to hold off until he clears me. I did weigh on her scales and I was at 149.5. I then weighedt on work scale and was same. I then ask my husband to get my scales out of the rafters and it was the same weight.

I am going for the 149.5.

It is up but I am OK with it. I ate the food to gain the pound so I own it.

Doctor also took my adult beverages away along with the caffeine. She also changed my food intake until Wednesday.

Well, Thursday was a complete bust for my diet...I was BAD!

McDonalds for breakfast (I'm not proud, I love that place)
No lunch
1 Brat and 1/2 a burger for dinner, with a very small serving of baked beans and some potato salad (made w/lo-fat mayo)

I guess food-wise, I wasn't too horrible, I did go over my 19 starvation points for the day.

It's the beer that put me way over

It may not have been that bad Pam. I don't know how many points there are in a beer...I bet you did better than you think. Maybe?? If not Friday is a new day!!!!

I've used all my wpas this week and normally I don't. I've just been hungry!I know I've been eating the right foods but for some reason this week I just needed more food! I think it has to do with TOM or something. Oooh Mcdonald for breakfast I haven't had that in so long!!!! Okay I'm going to stop drooling now.

I like the new flex plan which has more choices then when I joined 3 years ago, and the nice thing is it's familiar and I haven't forgotten how to use those points. LOL.

Right now ladies I'm needing some ideas for extremely FAST dinners. I get home after six from a 10 hour day and am exhausted. Ideas??

Please check this:
My Menu:

1 cup Total cereal with raisins/1/2 Cup Skim Milk

1/2 Roast Beef Sandwich (Made with the good whole grain bread) with 1/2 cup baked chips

Protein Shake ??? OR

Cereal for snack before I go home....

Dinner ????? I think I'm putting together the Fat Free potato salad tonight and maybe a piece of grilled chicken.
Okay fast dinners??? I like having a few turkey burgers on hand. They quick and work in a pinch. I think someone mentioned this already but I really love stir fries!!! My favorite is to take a bag of shrimp when they're on sale add them to a bag of stir fry veggies and then add a pack of reduced fat nissin noodles to it. I then add some teriyaki sauce and it's enough to make 2 big servings for me and my husband. I haven't made it lately but it comes out to about 6 or 7 points and it's very filling! Another thing that I tried last week was making a BIG bowl of chicken salad. That really came in handy this week because I didn't feel like cooking anything! Oooh casseroles always work good too! Something you can cook over the weekend and eat during the week. I hope this helps.

Chicken burgers, turkey burgers, Turkey Enchilada Pie (see WW recipes at the top of this forum), with a salad on the side. I use a light roll with the burgers.

I weigh in on Wednesdays too

I wish I had better internet access this week, because I would really like to add to my blog.

I have a couple drafts in the works and hope to finish them soon. I was never really into the whole blog-thing because I didnt have much to say. Now.....I have PLENTY to say !!

A lot of my friends say that they're old and diets dont work at our age (I'm 43), but I am proof they do work. Sure, my metabolism sucks, and I have a lot of flab to get rid of from being heavy my whole life, and stretch marks from having kids, but I have reached a point in my life that I want to make positive changes in my lifestyle (when I make lunch for the kids they know that I will cut up an apple for them and everyone is required to eat a few raw carrots too). I'm not only doing this for myself.....but my family as well.

So.....thanks for visiting my blog, and to our group. You will find a lot of support here.....we're more than just WWers.....we're friends too, so jump right in and ask all the questions you want !!

Hey all! Happy 4th!

we dont have much planned, hoping to take the kids to the fireworks tonight. I wanted to tell you guys, i got the apple things from fig newton that Happy girl had in her email, and they are good! what a great substitue for apple pie from mcdonalds, which i love!

i went and stocked up my fridge, stuff for salad, and fruit, I think this will help me to stay on plan, i hope.

My fave thing tho is to make a casserole, i make the chicken enchilada casserole and eat off of it all week, they are filling, and i already know the points.

I think the key for me is exercise, i need it, and i dont think i will lose much without it. I am planning to take my daughter to the park for some walking today

I'm going to make some stove top hamburgers and cook some turkey hot dogs.

I don't think I'm going to my meeting tomorrow. TOM showed up and I'm up on the scale. I had been doing so good this week too!!! After having bad weekends I normally go back into the 230s but I've been in the 220s all week! So I'm pretty sure I would have shown a loss. Oh well....I just don't feel like getting up on a Saturday morning to find out something I already know. I'm not upset about it or anything. There's really no need to be upset. I just have to deal with it and wait it out. I just have to stay on track this weekend. 3 day weekends plus TOM can equal trouble for me. I'm determined to continue what I've been doing. It just seems like once I get on track and start to lose stupid old TOM shows up. I guess I should be thankful though because if she didn't show up I'll definitely have other things to worry about besides my ww weigh in!!

An article I read on AOL said he's considered a "Entertainer"

He does have a Bachelors and Masters in Psychology so I guess as long as he doesnt go around saying he's Phil MD, it's legal. I always thought he has his MD
