Good Morning Rockstars!

Dinner at the club was fun! It was all supposed to be outside, but we had some wacky weather, so dinner in, drinks out. Of course I had too much to drink -- Lee the bartender is on a mission to make sure I never leave sober...but food-wise, I didn't binge, although it was bingeworthy food...I can't even begin to describe the ribs. Not like any ribs I've ever eaten...

Going to the library and out to breakfast...DH wants me to shoot my gun (yes, I have one)...drive to my new job has me going thru the unsavory part of town and he wants to make sure I can protect myself...JIC (just in case).

My goal for the week is 1 pound then I will have hit my 4th of July goal! I can do it.

Whats on the agenda for everyone else?

Hiya everyone! I am still alive and kicking, and on plan.

I got my 10% keychain at my meeting last week, too! When our leader asked me what had changed with losing my 10%, I teared up and wound up needing the tissue box. LOL I had realized that morning, on my way in, that, for the first time that I can remember, I actually don't feel ashamed of myself. I feel proud. And I feel like I can accomplish this.

We are having internet issues around here, so, until it's worked out, my posts are sporadic. *sigh* But I will pop in whenever I can.

We're going to a Graduation party today. No clue what's in store there.

My Goddaughter graduated from HS, but I havnet been part of her life because that's the way her Mom is. When she was born they needed an open minded priest that would do a private ceremony with a mixed religious family. I think that's the only reason they picked DH and I (it's DH's Bro's DD) because I had connections.

So, anyway.........I dont think I'll be able to get out of there quick enough. Hopefully there wont be drama, but the Mom likes to create it.

I'm glad she graduated........she's had issues over the years. I really think there should be some kind of a test parents have to take before they can have offspring. They have done such a disservice to this young lady.

I'm back from my meeting and I lost .6 of a pound so that puts me at 227.8. Frankly I'm pretty disappointed. I couldn't believe it when I looked at my card. Hell I thought I was looking at a previous week or something. When I checked my house scale it read 226-226.5 so I was for sure I would see more a loss. I did weigh on a different scale today..hmm...I doubt if that makes a difference really. Man I really was hoping for 226 or at least 227.2 or something. A new number!! I was sitting there looking at my card and I realized I've been bouncing back and forth between the same few numbers for too long now. I have to admit I was sitting there before the meeting started feeling really sad. Part of the meeting she talked about having negative things to say about yourself. Of course if someone else lost .6 of a pound I would be ready to congratulate them but when it's myself it's a different story. I felt better by the time I left. This week I stayed behind and introduced myself to the leader. She's nice and she told me she liked my hair. I have it in a afro puff right now and she said I looked retro. I asked her about the 16 week charm and she gave me one. The ww at work leader never gave those out!! It may not be a big deal for some but I want every little charm I can get!! Now to get that 10% one!!! Don't worry I'm not getting discouraged...I was just having a moment...I'm better now. This proves to me even more that I have to stay diligent and stay on track. It's the weekends that get me. Looking back most weeks that I've had a gain it's when I get off track during the weekends. So this weekend I'm determined to stay the course!! I'm cooking my chicken now for some chicken salad and there won't be any pizza delivery in this house! I know my husband may want it but right now I just can't have that in the house. I hope that doesn't sound mean or anything...I just have to keep it that way for right now. He doesn't need it himself anyway!! I bought some of the South Beach pizzas so he'll have to be happy with those. I'm not mean I promise.

I'm going to make some chicken salad. I don't know what else just yet. I may use my little graham cracker crusts and make a little sugar free dessert.

There ya go !! You have a plan !! You can stick to it. You may want to try sticking to some whole-er foods. IMO I get more food when I make it. I certainly love the convenience of the Smart Ones, pre packaged snacks, but I dont do as well when I consume them.

No, you're not mean. You have to do whats good for YOU. You need to make your DH understand that. I was very anti-social as far as eating goes for quite some time. I didnt want to be in social situations with food......so some times I brought my own, or if it was a party at our neighbors I would eat at home and go there later.......and turned away the cocktails. All you have to do is figure out what works.

I would have certainly taken -0.6 this week.

Hello Everyone, Just wanted to stop in and say hello! I got home late last night and had to do some VERY overdue grocery shopping for my family. With me being gone for 2 weeks the house has went to h....

I should be home and will attempt some normalcy in my life after tomorrow. I plan on returning to work Monday baring any more life changing emergencies.

I am going out tonight with a friend and do a 50 miles night time bike ride. She signed me up because she thought I needed to bike so I can forget life for a while.

I did buy items to get back on plan Monday. We will see.. I am having stomach issues and have appointment with MD Tuesday. I am sure it is stress and garbage consumption related.

I now consider myself a a certified vending machine expert.

I am going to need a swift kick from everyone. Look froward to starting back.

Miss you all!!

Just an update I forgot...

My brother is doing remarkably well. Hope to have him home this week.
My niece that had survived the fiery crash has since died. This was a blessing. We prayed for God to take her. She now has a much better life and is not suffering.

Thank you all for your prayers and thoughts.

Talk to you all later.
