You know we have always heard......If you eat more fiber you will feel full!

Well low and behold they are right! I have made a conscious effort to eat more fiberous foods this week and my cravings have not been near as bad!

Ways I have added fiber:
(1) Western bagels (1 pt) located in the refrigerated area by the cream cheeses at Wally World
(2) More fruits and vegetables
(3) Fiber One granola bars (Oats and Chocolate)

What are some of the ways you incorporate fiber into your eating? Please share!

Woohoo for Fiber!!!

Let's see...Some of my fiber friends are...

Nature's Own Double Fiber Bread
Buena Vida Low Carb Tortillas
Joseph's Flax Lavash Bread
Fruits and Veggies
Beans
I've recently discovered the South Beach pizzas and wraps and they're full of fiber. They are very filling!
I like the Fiber Ones bar but I can't eat them. The Fiber One yogurt is delicious and I buy that sometimes. If I want a snack bar I opt for the Curves brand. They have about 5 grams of fiber and they don't hurt my stomach. I want to check out the South Beach bars because they're high protein but I'm not for sure of the fiber content.
High fiber cereal

That's all that I can think of right now.

HTH

Well I am finally home from Reno. I took the kids to Sizzler (salad bar) for lunch.
They had some nice fruit and good salad choices. I dont care for their light dressings though. Anyhoo lls well. We then went to the park/water fountain and they played for 2 hrs. Then I hit the new Costco out there. I bought some yummy Pico De Galo real fresh. Also some grapes, apples and some light cheese. I almost stopped at the deli for some FF frozen yogurt but I had no idea the points so I passed. Anyhow its 7pm and I best get dinner done. We usually eat around 5:30 LOL.

Cool! More ideas I them! The Lavash bread looks interesting I will try to find it! I actually picked up a few South Beach dinners to try out, so I'm glad to hear you like them!

RenoMom: Congrats on making good choices while out today especially going to a restaurant with lots of choices.

Morning everyone!!!

{{{{{{skinny vibes}}}}} to all Wednesday weighers!!!!!!

{{{{{skinny vibes}}}}} to Reg!!!

Oh yeah I have a NSV to report. Yesterday I wore an outfit that I've NEVER worn. I bought it, brought it home and it was way too tight. That was almost 2 years ago! I felt like a million bucks yesterday wearing my outfit!!! I even received quite a few compliments. People told me that I looked really nice....it made me start to wonder how do I normally look??

Have a great day everyone!!!

Hi Rockstars! Oraki: You look marvelous! That is a great feeling to wear clothes that were once way to tight. I have a bag of clothes that I keep dragging out and trying on. Gradually some of the things are fitting me. I wore one of the tops last Friday and had several people notice my weight loss. (finally!) Now I need pants that fit. Mine are getting baggy.

My POINTS Chick blog has a new element. At the bottom of the page I have a photo that has been doctored to show what I would look like 50# less.

Click the photo to get started and submit your own.

I brought some Cream of Wheat (maple & brown sugar flavor) to work with me for breakfast.

The Lower Sugar Quaker Oatmeal Variety Pack 110-120 Cal, 1.5-2.0 g fat, 3g fiber comes out to 2 points (you know me.....Ms. Cheap-o with da points)

They are coming out with a "High Fiber" instant oatmeal (saw info on box, but couldnt locate at my store). I emailed Quaker......when I know, you'll know.

Hi Reg,

I bought a variety pack of instant oatmeal a couple of weeks ago, but I'm having a hard time eating them. I just don't like the consistency of oatmeal I liked the cream of wheat much better this morning, I had it with an apple for breakfast.

Oh well.......not much I can do now........what's done is done.

After the meeting I have some running around to do, then go to DD6's end of the year party.

Probably be back later tonight.

OH......just and FYI......I will start the new thread on Sunday. I will be away on vacation with the family from Mon-Sat. Probably no internet access.

Have a great day, ladies and gent !!

Hello everyone.

I am very off today. I got some very upsetting news last night and it sent me into a panic attack. I couldn't sleep and I ate way too much. It was all healthy food so at least I don't feel guilty but the whole thing has me feeling sick and upset.

I have a doctors appointment so no time or energy to exercise but at least I managed to work out Monday and Tuesday.

I hope you all have a great day.
