Thanks Everyone for the warm welcome!
![]() Has anyone else been using the Western 1 pt bagels? (110 cal, 0 fat, 7 fiber) I really like them in the morning with a wedge of Laughing Cow cheese. It's 2 points, then you can add a protein or some fruit and you have a well rounded breakfast. Oh... I also picked up Hungry Girls book at Sam's today. (Thanks, Reg for the head's up!) I am looking forward to cooking some recipes out of it and using many of the helpful hints! It's amazing all the things she can do with a can of pumpkin!!! Have a great evening...Karla (Keeping Babbs and family in my prayers)

Great job!
I started running w/ my car pool buddy and we meet up at 5:30am. She does 2 miles and I do 4. She has a faster pace than me, which pushes me, and she needs me to get her motivated. So together, it should work out just fine. You are doing so good! 3s About Me! Three jobs I have had in my life: Dishwasher in a nursing home, Mail room at State Farm's Regional office, Product Engineer and Analysis Manager. Three places I have lived: Michigan, Michigan, Michigan Three shows that I watch: So you think you can dance, Big Break(golf channel), House Three places I have been: Italy, Germany, Canada Three of my favorite foods: Ice cream, Cheese cake, chocolate of any kind Three places I'd rather be right now: I like mike's answer...beach, beach, beach Three things I am looking forward to this year: Summer w/ the boys, golfing, and riding my motorcycle. Wow, your looking great! so proud ![]() Quote:

Still here! I've just been spending more time away from the computer...except at work, of course. I seem to be buried over my head at work. I will be on occasionally, but not as often. Quote:

Oh, I did have a -0.8lb loss Monday. I may have a gain this week. Ds 13 was in canada w/ his dad, and Ds 14 and I went to a concert and a water park hotel. We've had fun, but ate more than I should have. I did get a lot of activity in going up the stairs for 4hours

Hey everyone!!!
I had a pretty busy day today. I attended a funeral for my uncle and I still have my brother and nephews staying with me. I'm so proud of myself, I went to the chinese restaurant to get everyone some food and I didn't order anything for myself! That felt really good. I didn't feel like the food had control of me instead I had control of the food!!! I won't lie I did eat a french fry and one piece of sesame chicken. ![]() I'll post my food in a little bit. I didn't have any lunch since I wasn't here. I was hot anyway. I wasn't dressed in time to ride with my brother so I had to drive my car. Ugh...I won't complain though. At least I have something to drive. Hopefully we'll have our other car fixed very soon. I decided to wear a dress that I've only worn maybe once a long time ago. I felt kinda unsure in it but it was the only thing that I had that I felt was appropriate for a funeral. After I put it on I thought I looked kinda cute!! I had my nephew take a picture. Maybe I'll post it later...Well I need to just sit and relax for a bit. BBL Last edited by oraki : 06-22-2008 at 04:56 PM. |

![]() Cool!!!!! Vi The turkey burgers are the Jennie O brand so I'm not for sure how many ounces the turkey burger was. It was one turkey burger and it's a pretty good sized burger. You should be able to find them in the freezer section of the grocery store. HTH Last edited by oraki : 06-22-2008 at 04:55 PM. |

Happy Sunday, Rockstars!
Do wonders never cease? I found the Tofu noodles AND Baked Scoops at my grocery store today. I was in shock. I bought the angel hair and will tread lightly with my science experiement this week...not sure which recipe I will use them in, so many good ones in the HG cookbook. Recipes on tap for this week from the book are: Sweetie Fry Bananas w/Cream Cheese Frosting (tonight for desert...) Sloppy Janes & Onion Rings(dinner on Monday) Cobby Chop Salad (lunch on M, T, W) Rockin' & Choppin Taco Salad (lunch on R & F) Death by Chocolate cupcakes (DH's work is having a pot luck, he signed up for desert) Not much else new...it was of course, a very social weekend w/lots of beer. I think after this week, I am considering changing my meeting day to Wednesday so I stop living large all weekend long. The only prob is, the Wednesday meeting is in the evening....
