Frustrated but I won't give in!

I am frustrated right now with my "slow" weight loss. I know it took me 3 years to gain the weight and I know at least in my head that it will take longer than 3 weeks to loose it. That's my intellect talking but emotionally - well that's a different story.

So, I have been following Scarsdale since May 19 - to the letter no way! I have reduced my calories, fat and carbs substantially. No junk food, no eating after 8:00 p.m. drinking more water and started exercising- all healthier changes. I feel much better, am truly motivated to make this WOE a complete lifestyle change and have tons more energy.

I have lost 10 pounds and unfortunately I don't know my inches but my clothes are substantially looser - I'm down one dress size.

So why am I frustrated? I'm not losing it faster! I've been going back and forth the last 10 days or so and am down only 2 pounds.

In the past I would have said the hell with it and gone back to my old way of eating - but I'm not going to do that this time.

After reviewing my entries in Fit Day I've come to the conclusion that I may have put my body in starvation - by not eating enough calories. I've read that this is possible - I know from the reports that I'm averaging about 850 calories per day and burning substantially more. Could this be the reason?

So, it's time for me to re-group and re-examine this diet.

Enough with the "tweaking" - as of today I will follow Scarsdale to the letter! No deviations - eat only and I mean only what is on the allowed list. Really now, what do I know about tweaking - as they say how's it working for you so far I have to ask myself! Not all that great.

Well that's my vent, thank you for listening. If anyone has any suggestions or comments I'd really like to have your input.

good luck. I am a tweaker also it doesn't always work out. But I keep trying
