I had not weighed for 3 weeks and had a 2 week vacation and I did see a gain as I had anticipated.

+ 1 pound

I am VERY VERY ok with that damage.

BBL. Have to take kids to MD for check ups.

I am starving right now! All I had for breakfast was half a banana because the kids ate the rest of it. They are the best calorie-savers! Everything I eat gets cut in half, or it takes me so long to eat it that it's not worth it.

I stepped on the scale this morning, just to get an idea of how I'm doing with all the processed foods I've had to eat this past week, and I was under my 10%! I really hope it sticks until Sunday so I can get my nifty keychain! *crosses fingers*

The good news, though, is that we went grocery shopping finally. Since we filed our change of address, my paycheck was a few days late, but we finally got it. I have fresh foods again! Bread, milk, cheese, chicken, veggies, and fruit! I brought some fruit to make a fruit salad with the kiddies here for snack today.

After work I am going to go work out, then DH and I have to go shopping. We need a few things for the new place, and I want a Wii Fit now. I hope we can find one! If not, it will have to wait, but I will be grumpy.

Well, we have severe storms moving in this afternoon and daughter is already in panic mode. It may take a bulldozer to get her soaking wet 65 pound body out of the basement to go to MD.

To make it worse she has to have an immunization today.

We made the MD appointment without a bulldozer for daughter and she survived the shot.

She had gain 2 pounds in 6 months. Which is wonderful. She is 14 and only weighed 77 pounds today with clothes on and the first day of her period.
14% body fat which is not good. She eats very well and healthy. Just can not gain weight.

I just found out I have to work tomorrow. No one signed up for the Saturday and 3 are going on vacation and the other nurse's daughter was coming home from week long camp and she would work but really did not want to. I could have declined but they would do it for me.

Glad DD is OK and survived.

DS9 is deathly afraid of needles, and bribery doesnt work here.

Glad to hear she gained weight !! It's a constant battle here as well. DS is 65# at 9 yr and DS is 61# at 6 yr. She eats much better than he does.

Hope work is uneventful on Saturday

Did anyone watch Oprah today?

They had people that had lost large amounts of weight. One woman had lost over 100 pounds but when Oprah ask her how she has lost the weight she acted like she was totally embarrassed to say WW.

She came out not shy but really had an embarrassment with the word WW.

Ooh, oprah comes on here at 10p in rerun, so thanks for the heads up!

i was so bad today! there is a bbq place about 2 hours from here, that brings their smokers in, and parks in the parking lot of the bowling alley, and it is gooood authentic stuff! i had to stop and get some for my hubby, it is Father' day weekend right? LOL he loves it, and he will have a treat waiting when he gets home tonight! Anyways, i had a piece of the ribs, a pretty big piece, it was a lot of points lol...but i added it in... Luckily, i had a small bkfast, and hadnt had lunch yet, so i am going to try for a small point evening, and minimize that damage! i didnt eat any sides with it, just the slab (lol) of ribs, so i still have about 2 pts for the day, and i might dip into my flex a bit, but unfortunately, it was not really worth it the first few bites were good, but that is about it.

im making a chicken enchilada casserole that i found on the internet somewhere, been in the crockpot all day, and going into the oven for the last of it soon, ill let you all know how it is...

DH is playing cards tonight (I am working) and he arranged us with a kid-sitter with the lady who put together the game (fund raiser for her daughter's softball team). The sitter is the daughter. I'm a little nervous because she hasnt sat for the kids. We know her, the kids like her, etc.

I wrote out a bunch of phone #s (me, dh, cells, work, grandma, poison control, doctors, etc) and when I was done with the instructions she asked "Do they have any allergies?"

I guess there's no need to worry.

Have a good night all.

Good luck Pammy and anyone weighing in on Saturday

Okay, here is my recipe...

Chicken Enchilada Casserole

POINTS® Value | 6
Servings | 6

Ingredients

12 small corn tortillas
15 oz. canned black beans, drained
15 oz. canned tomatoes, undrained
1 10 oz. can chili verde sauce
3 oz. fat-free cream cheese
2 oz. Kraft Pepper Monterey Jack Cheese, grated
1/2 cup onion(s), finely chopped
4 tsp. Taco Bell Home Originals Taco Seasoning Mix
10 oz. Campbell's 98% Fat-Free Cream Of Chicken Soup
1 pound FROZEN boneless, skinless chicken breast
Fresh cilantro to taste

Instructions

Combine all but cheeses and tortillas in crock pot and cook all day on low. During the last 30 minutes, add cream cheese to melt and leave the lid off.

Tear tortillas into halves and layer in 9 x 13 baking pan (sprayed with nonstick spray) with chicken mixture. Top with pepperjack cheese and fresh cilantro. Bake at 350 for 20 minutes or until cheese melts. Let stand for 10 minutes before serving.

i made this, and go back and look at the servings, SIX ...for a cake pan? this is a huge plate ful. 6 points, man, i almost wonder if that is right! i am going to run it through the recipe builder, ill get back to you. but so far, it is yummy!!!!

Wow! I ran it thru, and it really is 6 points, for 1/6th of a cake pan! this is very filling, and would be great with a salad. i love the taste of corn tortillas, and the tortillas i have are 1g fat, 90 cal i think, so i use them a lot. This recipe is a winner, a keeper, i hope i can freeze it.

Good morning rockstars! Hope everyone has a nice Father's Day Weekend.

Beachbound: That's great that the damage was only 1 pound!! It could have been much worse.

I got my check for $150 from BC/BS for my weight loss benefit. I just had to show proof of 4 months payments to WW. So my first 4 months have been paid for all but $10. I can do this annually if I am still here next year. Most likely I will be.

Gotta prepare my first drink of water for the day and get on that treadmill.

Good Morning WW Friends!

So, weighed in, lost .6, and quite frankly, I'll take it. I really wanted .8 or above so I could finally say I've lost 70 pounds, but 69.8 isn't anything to laugh at.

DH was out of town last night at a conference, so I had a girlie night at my friends house and out came the beer -- Bud Light Lime, for anyone who's interested is a pretty darn refreshing summer brew! And 2 points per bottle? WHo can complain about that!?!?!?! Not me. 2 beers and I was super tipsy. Um, Reg, you know I can put it away...what's up? 2 beers? Dang, 2 beers is nothing!

Anyway, it was fun. Would I have lost the .8 or more if I didn't splurge on beer last night? Who knows. No regrets. This chic is celebrating her new job!

Now, I've been putzing around w/this WW since the middle of April. Super good during the week, and on Saturday's after weigh-in...it's been a free for all of food and adult beverages. I've had some weeks where I stayed the same, a couple where I gained a smidge and surprisinlgy, weeks where I went down.

I created a spreadsheet (geek) to track my weight loss and was actually quite surprised to discover that I have actually lost weight since then...a whole 5 pounds! Yay!

The other lesson learned is that even though I've been living it up on the weekends, I'm not taking my weight back up. The trainer at the gym pointed that out to me (dang, for someone with a master's degree I can be super stupid sometimes). I'm learning how to enjoy what I like, and yet get back on track during the week to prevent the scale from moving upwards.

Okay, so lessons learned. NOW I need to get serious about losing the last 30 pounds. So, I'm happy to report I didn't go out after WW and indulge in a super delicious yet BAD FOR ME breakfast. I grabbed my new "Hungry-Girl" cookbook and decided to try out one of the low point breakfasts. And, I'm actually drinking a glass of water...on a Saturday, non-the-less.

I'm going to drink tonight...some white wine, in celebration of my new job!!!!!! and we're going to BBQ, however, I'm going to be adventurous and try some Buffalo burgers...I hear tell they're quite delicious and at only 3 points for a 1/4 burger, how can I go wrong?

Backtracking...the breakfast I made this morning was a veggie scramble, and friends, I'm hear to report, pretty tasty. I'm hoping it stays with me till lunch time (been having a hard time staving off the hungries in the morning...)

1/4 Cup chopped Mushrooms
1/4 Cup chopped Tomato
2 TBS chopped Onion
1 Veggie Burger, crumbled (I used aleady crumbled veggie stuff...)
1/2 cup Egg Substitute

Saute mushrooms, onion and Veggie burger until cooked. Add Egg, scramble and then chopped tomato.

PER SERVING (entire recipe):
183 calories, 3g fat, 614mg sodium, 17g carbs, 5g fiber, 5g sugars, 22g protein POINTS®value 3*

I left my little box of comfort this morning and tried the crumbled veggie stuff...I lived to tell about it Now, if I could just get my hands on those Tofu noodles Reg told us about....
