That is so cool! i was digging out my swimsuit today, and had to dig thru a box of clothes, all brand new with the tags on, all size 14, and size L shirts, that i have never been able to wear In 2002/2003 i lost a bunch of weight, got into a 16 comfortably, even wore a skirt that was 15/16 i think, and so i was headed to 14's, and started buying clothes on clearance, shopping is fun when you are losing weight! but then i stopped, lots of things happened in my life, and in 2004 i got pg with my son, and have been at this weight since then. I wear an 18/20, closer to 20 really, and 1X shirts, 16/18 i guess.

Separate the whole box into the 7 servings (or whatever the servings are....my rotini has 7 servings per whole box)......into ziplock sandwich bags. Do you have a scale ?? I'm guessing the 2oz is dry.

so i made the alfredo too, but i didnt have sourcream, so i made my
Ronzoni smart taste pasta (3) and
1 wedge of laughing cow (1) and
1 Tbs parmesan (1) and
2 tbs skim milk,

melted the cheese with the milk, and then added in the spaghetti and coated it. then i added 1/2C shrimp and crab (like mixed and shredded in small pieces) for 2 pts, and mixed it all together. I then took 2 pieces of my Sara Lee 45 cal bread,(1) with some spread (1)and garlic, in the toaster oven.

so i got a big plate of seafood alfredo and 2 pieces of garlic bread for 9 pts
It is really good too!

Good luck to all the other weighers today!
You have a great plan for the coming week. You're not a lardbutt! I hope you had fun at the pool. I bet you earned some activity points.

Reg: The leaders do make their money according to how many ppl are in the meeting. It has always been that way. Then the good leaders make more money because ppl tend to find out about them and seek them out. It seems fair. They wanted me to get my pass at the center instead of online too. They get credit for that as well.
Congrats on the loss!!!

Congrats Pam! That is excellent!!!! You must feel very proud of yourself!

I don't know about anyone else but I am having a hard time eating all my points in this heat! In fact I only had 13/20 and I have 3AP's. I think it's the heat and this new medication I am on for the next 2 weeks.

I didn't have any veggies and only one fruit today. *tsk tsk* I usually do 4 -5veggies and 1-2 fruits/day. (I don't ever count my Green shake because that's a supplement.)

Oh I have a question for y'all. Who counts beans (chickpeas, black beans, kidney, etc.) as a veggie? I don't but to my surprise Real Age does. So I am curious, does anyone else?
I'm not having a problem getting in my points but I have noticed my appetite has changed. I want more lighter foods. Yogurt, fruits, cottage cheese, salads and things like that. I believe it has to do with the heat. At least today it cooled down some. Take care of yourself.

No I've never thought about counting beans as a veggie...interesting...

Anyway, I'm excited, yet feeling weird...like now that I got what I wanted, now what?

I hate my current position, and yet, I know what I'm doing. I think it's the fear of the unknown. I will be sitting down tomorrow night with pen and paper and deeply analyzing the pros and cons of both positions.

I will keep you all informed and I promise, no food binges....
Congrats to you!! I know what you mean about the unknown. Where I previously worked I could do that job with my eyes closed and one hand tied behind my back. Then they told us the department was closing so of course I had to find new work. I worked in the billing dept of a lab and now I work for a mutual fund company. I was really scared at first and it was because I didn't know ANYTHING about the industry at all. With time I've learned a lot and it gets easier every day. I say go for it!!!

Let me start by saying, I'm not a tofu fan. I've tired it years ago and I didnt like it.

When I first opened the package (the tofu noodles are in water) the smell hit me. Now I know why they say to "rinse very well".

The recipe was simple, I used the whole piece of Laughing Cow, and regular parm cheese, so my points were higher.

The consistency of the "noodle" was a little weird. Noodles are supposed to melt in your mouth.....these didn't......they had to be bitten. Weird.

So......I'm thinking this dish will grow on me. For 1-2 points it wasnt horrible, but obviously not the real thing . I would recommend you buy a bag and see if you like it....I wouldnt buy a whole bunch until you know for sure. It's a nice size serving. The bag of tofu was $0.99

DD6 LOVED it........maybe you will too.
Hmmm...I don't know...maybe I'll try it one day. Thanks for the review.

Look at you!! You're shrinking! This may sound crazy to some but my goal is a 14/16. I'll be so freaking happy when I get there.

Tomorrow is my reality check day.

While on vacation we ate at our friends home in Aruba 4 times and most of the meals consist of deep frying and dough. Our friends wife is from Columbian and her hubby is Arubian and they always share their favorites at mealtimes. I always enjoy cook outs with them but will pay the price tomorrow. My daughter and I went for Chinese tonight therefore I can expect a bloat on top of the vacation gain tomorrow.

I plan on starting a clean slate on plan tomorrow.
I am ready for the gain BUT I just want it to remain in the 140's. I will be heartbroken if I see 150's again!!

I LOVE alfredo, when i did lowcarb, i made the high fat, low carb version a LOT. this has a great flavor to it, it isnt strong, and it isnt a lot of sauce for the noodles. it is a little glommy, laughing cow doesnt melt really smooth i think, but it is good (im stuffed too!)

it is funny, because as i was boiling the noodles, i was thinking 'wow (oink oink) that doesnt look like very much pasta ' and then when i made the sauce, i was like " wow (oink oink) that isnt much sauce' and i thought for sure it would be a little snack, LOL

but it filled my plate! i had a paper plate, avg sized, and the pasta covered that plate, i was cracking up at my piggy self. LOL

Hopefully things will settle down here and I can be online more with you all. Our home was hit by tornado over the weekend and we have been dealing with that. We were very fortunate and received minimal damage compared to others around us. We are in line for an electrician and contractor for repairs. Our family is physically fine but our daughter is so fearful now of any weather forecast of rain/storms.
