Hope everyone is enjoying Father's Day and making that man in your life feel special.
I think every one should celebrate the male in your life whether an official father or not because they likely are a father figure /role model to some special person. "Happy Father's Day" Babbs |

I need some help, we took my husband out for lunch for Father's Day, and went to a local Mexican place. I ordered veggie fajitas, which was grilled peppers, onions, mushrooms, broccoli, zuchinni, red peppers, so i had 3 flour tortillas with a scoop of this in each. a little guacamole in one (i was thinking of my healthy fats) ...so how would you figure up the fajita mix? any ideas?
on etools, it has it listed as 4, but i dont know what the serving is...so im just going to go with 8. sounds good ![]() Last edited by shelby7851 : 06-15-2008 at 04:38 PM. |

![]() How were the veggies prepared? in oil? What size were the tortillas? If the veggies were prepared in oil (4pts per T, I'll say you had 2T), the tortillas were 6" sized (2 points each) and you had ¼c guacamole (2 points) 16 points |

Crazy day in the neighborhood today. Heard the cops racing down the block with their sirens.....didnt think much of it.....around 7AM
Turns out a 24 year old that lives on the adjacent street choked on his vomit and died (alcohol related incident). Tons of family and friends were here while the CSI guys investigated. I didnt know the boy, but it's so sad. Tragic, Father's Day will never be the same for the family. Give your kids, nieces, nephews and extra hug and kiss today . MAJOR LCF POSTER!

It's Sunday night and the weekend is over. Oh well...I guess it had to end eventually. I didn't do much today. I was pretty lazy. I tell you the heat just wipes me out!! Even after resting from yesterday I was still just so tired today. My plan was to cut the grass but that never happened. It's supposed to cool off during the week so I'll do it then. Where's the grass going anyway.....it will still be there.
I've been thinking what steps can I take to reach my 10% ww goal. I have 8.7 more pounds to reach my 10% goal. I've decided to set up a little challenge for myself for this week. I was thinking what kind of challenge can I start for myself?? I didn't want anything tied to a particular weight loss amount or anything because that will just drive me crazy. Since I LOVE my smilies I came up with the 5 smiley a day challenge! So here are the guidelines!! ![]() 1 smiley for drinking my water 1 smiley for getting in some activity 1 smiley for tracking all my points 1 smiley for using my daily point allowance towards the WW healthy guidelines and not on snacks, chips, etc (If I want these items then I need to use my wpas for them) 1 smiley for having at least one positive thought about my weight loss journey or my body each day Okay the last one may be a little hard. I have a tendency to beat myself up pretty bad. That's why I added this to my challenge!! I know if I challenge myself to earn my smilies then the weight loss will follow. Looking back on my points tracker the weeks that I lost the most were weeks I followed most of these guidelines. So I'll start tomorrow...wish me luck!!!! If anyone wants to join me feel free!!!!
