Yup..We could see how much we would lose as a group... 10-15-20 pounds? We could add it all up on the 4th..

thanks, Zilla..some of us do get lost.

Thanks for starting us up Carolyn. I'm one of those that tends to get lost easily, lol. Crumbs work for me, thanks Linda.

I'm ready to burn off some of this fat for sure!

Mornin'

<looking around for MK or Shon to hand me some coffee....>

I am starting to feel hunger pangs again. Trainer thinks this may mean my metaboolism is waking up - woo hoo!

Scale down a littel today but I am not claiming it yet. I have been going up a little since new plan and then I have been sitting here for a day or two, so maybe <please, oh please> I will start to go down now??????

Have a great day y'all!

Hi Aly, welcome! Niagra Falls - you're just a stones' throw from me. Dh and I love to go the Falls each year in the Fall - the leaves are so gorgeous and we always stop at a few wineries on the way back!

I'm pretty tired of stalling. Time to get serious. I have been tracking on fitday again. Looks like I need to up the fat. Some carb creep going on, but when there is fresh produce on sale, that will always be a challenge for me

Welcome Aly!

I didn't do too well yesterday. I was great all day but then went to a movie last night and had popcorn for the first time in forever. I stayed the same though so maybe it won't hurt me too much.

Found you! I'm surprised, since I'm not caffeinated yet this morning... hey, who's pouring? You missed my mug!

Ok, I don't know where I was when I started the last challenge, but since that was a month of stalling and grumbling, I'm not gonna think about it. But to help me track *this* challenge better, I'm stating for the record that I weighed 196.5 this morning. I'm really hoping to lose at least 5 pounds by July 4. Heh, let's see what happens...

Hi to all, long-time pals and newbies alike. Sorry, I'll post more when my brain kicks in.

Carrie,

A trainer I am working with thinks I have a dead metabolism. I am following a new eating plan she came up with for me. I complained that I was eating too much/often and she said when I start to feel hunger pangs again it would be a sign that my metabolism was revving up.

I have had my cals too low for too long and worked out too hard and done some damage to my metabolism, so I am in the repairing phase...

Hi ladies..

And welcome Aly..

Girls, don't talk popcorn...........that is my biggest trigger food in the whole wide world. I also love that fake butter they put on it in the movies.

On the hunger thing..My friend's trainer told her that when she felt them that was a really good thing because her metabolism was "working" or "revving up"..

GRRRRMy WiiFit hasn't arrived yet. It was sent on the 24th of May by an ebay person who is in contact with me. Hopefully, he insured it..in case someone "stole" it through the POffice. Maybe it will come tomorrow..waiting impatiently..

I was up a bit today..I think I was eating too much coconut bark yesterday, so I will abstain..Lunch will be chicken salad and lots of Sam's Club lettuce..

Nice to see our Sandy..hugs to you..

Chicken salad! That's what I want... drat, the only chicken I have on hand is ground chicken. Must have Jeff get me some regular chicken so I can grill it and then chop it up into chicken salad. With some walnuts and a few grapes halved into it... mmm...

Oh, that food that shall not be named? Our local theatre has real melted butter to put on it. Yum! The very rare occasions when I decided to indulge in that, I add gallons of butter and pounds of salt. I'm much safer watching a movie here at home on dvd than I am if I go to that theatre! <g>

I hear ya..We rarely go to the movies, but I like to go to the 7 oclock one..right after dinner, so I'm not tempted by "the food that shall not be named".. Sometimes I do bring a LC candy bar in my purse!

Hi ladies!
I just lived through a hurricane!
Seriously!
I have no idea how fast the winds were blowing, but they uprooted trees, broke branches
I had just stepped outside to put the lids back on the trashcans when it hit - rain and wind - and DS19 had shut the door because it blew the screen off. Luckily it was unlocked, but I was soaked!!

I tried to have chicken salad today but the chicken was freezer burnt so I threw it out and ate cheese. It'll do til dinner, I hope.

I bought 4 new pairs of shoes today!! They're all nice basic styles that I'll have for a long time so I don't feel too guilty. I wore a new pair of shoes all day Friday and couldn't believe my feet never hurt one time, so I went and bought another pair in white. Shoes that don't hurt my fat, wide feet are great shoes!! IMHO. And when I find shoes that fit I try to stock up. Plus, I'm a bit of a shoe freak. I got that from my mom and I've passed it onto my DGD. I might need a 12 step program for it.

Sandy - no 12 step program for shoes allowed! Shoes are our friends!
Purses are too, actually!

I just walked the dog and the creek that runs by the bike trail is 3X its normal size. The trail is completely covered!

Driving down Main Street, trees were uprooted!

I am not typically a "girly girl"...except when it comes to shoes

If being a shoe freak is a disease, I don't want the cure...LOL

Fell in to a tub of Greek yogurt today. Ate the whole damn thing (24oz). Opps! Still only 30 total carbs...so I just have to be careful tonight. It was Greek Gods brand from Vitamin Cottage. There was one...ONE container in the whole place that was full fat. They actually carry several brands full fat, but they were out of full fat in every brand. The 2% was about half gone, and the fat-free yogurts were still fully stocked. I guess the word that fat is our friend is spreading!

Geesh, MK, did you p-off the gods or something? Honey, you be careful and quit stirring up trouble! Sorry, couldn't resist. Honestly, I hope everyone is ok. I think we're getting your storms tonight, though. It's been a terrible spring for so many people. Wish it would just get to summer and stop all this nasty stuff.

Zilla: I love that doggie..and he has an egg creme on top of his head!!!!!!!!! Wow on the yoggie.. It is decadent, isn't it?

MKay: Gosh, I can't believe all your bad wind there..It was pretty windy here in KS, but hot as the debil..95 degrees..Be careful!

Sandy: I have done that, too. Finding a pair of shoes that don't hurt my feet and buying
"several" colors..great idea!!!!!!!!

Shon: My little weather bug isn't blinking, so it must be going to be calm tonight..

My friend June and I are going to Curves at 7:45, then go eat breakie at the hospital coffee shop afterwards. You can have eggs for 85 cents and bacon (crispy) for 85 cents. They have lousy coffee, so I'll just sip a bit...no real cream..just that powdered stuff..icky..
