3 points for 3 cups, but the small is more than that. I guess you could figure 5 or 6, but I wouldnt do it too close to WI.....all that salt

Hi Dedicated, I was thinking the same thing but I wanted to make sure b4 I bought some.
The WW site always says lean beef, but doesn't say what cut.

I was thinking of getting london broil because it's always on sale.

Hiya again, folks!

Mike, DH and I found some strange cuts of beef at the store last night ... I mean, I don't buy beef often AT ALL ... sometimes DH gets a craving for a steak or some ground beef, but, other than that, it's ONLY turkey, chicken, and pork around here. And even the pork is a very occasional thing.

But I did find this: *crosses fingers, hoping it comes through*

So maybe that will at least show the leaner ones?

Hi everyone and Happy Monday!(Is there ever such a thing? LOL). Well another week gone by has taken away that 1.5 water weight gain plus another .5. So 2 pounds down from last week.

I am pretty depressed about it though. It's proving my theory that something is wrong w/ my body to cause it to hold on to all this weight depite strict diet and strenuous exercise.

I'm still thinking about switching to CORE, but correct me if I am wrong....you have to cook a lot on CORE right? I have a hard time energy wise and sometimes all I can do is exercise and shower for the day. Plus ....who wants to turn the oven on in the summer?

Ummm ... *thinks* So far today, I have said no to a 2 yr old, a 3 yr old, and an almost 4 yr old ... a LOT! Seriously, I said no to graham crackers with peanut butter, and I hope my resolve holds out, because I'll be saying no to it again this afternoon. Those things just ain't right ... calling my name constantly. I am gonna have to investigate the lowest fat peanut butter and the best grahams for the points. Next week, so I can stock my new kitchen. Although, I'm thinking (again) about going core in my new kitchen ... since we are basically starting from scratch (we've done pretty good about buying only what we need and using up everything we have. A little too good about it. *points to last week's gain as proof* ) it might be easier to just buy core foods, ya know?

Congratulations on the NSV!! LC may get quicker results, but we all do what we can, as best as we can. Maybe some people can eat LC for life, but not me. Great job! KUTGW, but don't compare yourself to anyone, not even your sister! I fall into that trap way too much, and it's just not fair to your body to do that. Everyone is built differently, even within families.

Aww, don't get depressed and discouraged! At the risk of bruising my sister's ego (just in case she is reading my posts again. If so, ) She was up something like 9 pounds over a month ago, all in one week, and she is still working on getting rid of that. We figured it was water weight gain due to a bought of poison ivy, steroids, and benadryl. So, hey, at least it's not too many lbs, right?

Ya, I think it was 3 fat chicks that had a small (no butter) listed as 5 points. I swear Reg I never thought I had a problem w/ salt because I always had a gallon of water a day and you can't retain salt w/ that much water. But now w/ last week's gain I am thinking maybe it does affect me. I'll have to check out last weeks menu from the weekend.

HI Sarah! Lucky you to have a husband that occasionally eats beef. LOL. It's rare (no pun intended) that a man will choose chicken over steak.

Hey rdolldee! I am going through the same thing with slow loss and contemplating LC again, so I feel your pain! The thing is I don't think LC is sustainable long term. At least w/ WW you can have a piece of cake for your birthday and not gain 5 pounds of water overnight.

Hang in there! Even if it's slow coming off, at least it's coming off.

I assure you, it's by no real choice of his ... I remember back when we first got married, he would bring home steaks and roasts every week, and ground beef and all that nastiness. LOL I don't really remember how it all changed ... but I'm glad it did, since I can't stand the stuff, and for the price of one Ribeye steak, I can buy a bag of chicken breasts.

Hello fellow Rockstars! Skinny vibes to everyone weighing in today. I will be tomorrow. Been drinking lots of water yesterday and today cuz I had salty things. I am scale free this week. Not stepping on it before wi tomorrow either. I like living on the wild side.
