The old me, (pre- 8/07) illness would have lost 8-10 lbs by now with all this hard work. I almost wanna give up.
Vi, please don't give up and hang in there!

It's the Rockstar reporting back after wi..... I lost another pound!!!! I am so happy because I really did M-Day weekend different and it paid off.

I did not trash my food plan so that I could accomodate everyone else. That is what I have usually done for the last 35-40 years. This time I made sure I got in my exercise and I had my clean food. Hubby ate the clean food too and he liked it.

No junk food came near my door. The only thing I did indulge in was two wine coolers but I got away with it. I didn't even know what to count them for but I was very good all the rest of the day so no problem. I love it. I am finally learning how to live it.

I know it really helps me to have to be accountable each week to a scale that is at the WW center. There is not fooling the scale.

When I get to goal and acheive lifetime once again. I am going to keep coming. I might even take the training to work for WW's. I don't want to be this big again.

I've had many weeks where I knew I was bad - but I still went to my meeting and weighed in, knowing I'd have a gain. I never thought to use my no weigh today pass. That's a good idea! Whatever you choose, try not to miss your meeting.

So.......how are we tracking APs with the Wii? I was sweating a little, but not out of breath.

I've decided not to do the test every day.......because that's where the scale is I was under 200 this morning
Reg, it will probably be a few weeks til I can find the Wii Fit. I can't wait to get it! Until then, I will walk everyday and use Wii sports. I really like the tennis and boxing the best!

Vi - I was laughing so hard when I read your post because I think the same exact way!!! I love her shows, but she's always trying different things. I saw that show where Dr. Oz said that cleanses don't work and don't do anything. Maybe I'm wrong, but I disagree. I've gone on cleanses and have felt much better after them - and one time I lost 6 lbs. from a 24 hour cleanse and the loss stuck - I didn't gain it back a few days later. I guess when it comes to dieting/fasting/cleansing - I don't always believe everything I hear.

Vi- don't give up! It is almost impossible not to have a bad day once in a while. And to be honest, some people would love to be in the 160's ( I am 216.8 atm)

That's great Dedicated that you still went to your meeting! I'm glad you really like your WW leader too, it makes a huge difference!!!! I switched days and although I really liked my saturday morning leader - I REALLY like my Weds. night leader, it's a guy and he's really really funny and motivating too!

Yeah, I have to always stay away from salty things and I HATE IT! I know I retain water probably more than most. I have to be real careful when I eat pizza, or chinese food, or frozen dinners, or canned soups or fast food. If I eat any of these foods - even if it was a low point day - I will gain 2-5 lbs. water weight from too much salt! It really sucks, but it's the way it is.

that stinks that you don't know what it was. Also, I have heard people say that flying makes them swell up. I'm not sure why, but I have heard several people say that. They try to drink a lot of water, and try to get up and walk around too. I can't imagine having to use the bathroom often while being on a plane, but some people have to do it they say

Vi you can't give up. You sound like you have some medical issues working against you, but look at the progress that you've made in spite of those issues. You're doing awesome girl!! You're can't give up. That will make me sad. We all have our moments that we feel like giving up but you gotta keep at it. Believe me there are days that I want to say forget it and eat, eat EAT but I know that won't help. That will just make it worse actually. So I keep plugging along and you have to keep plugging along too! PM any time you want to talk.

Congrats on your loss and good job on putting your needs first. Sometimes that's what you have to do to stay on track. I bet you would make a great leader.

Feel free to whine anytime. I do it all the time. You're not whining though you're just expressing yourself. Maybe try fitting in a 10 minute walk here or there? Every little bit helps!!

I'm so proud of you for going to your meeting!!! I mean you really didn't have to! I bet the meeting gave you the motivation that you needed for the upcoming week. If you ate out while in Florida it was probably due to the sodium in restaurant food. Don't worry drink a lot of water and that water weight should be gone in no time.

Well folks it's time for me to hit the bed. Good night everyone!!!

So.......how are we tracking APs with the Wii? I was sweating a little, but not out of breath.

I've decided not to do the test every day.......because that's where the scale is I was under 200 this morning

I love the advanced step too!! Yep I tried the Free step the other day. I was trying to reach 1000 steps but I didnt' quite make it. I really love using wii fit. It's the only time that I've been able to perform some type of exercise without looking at the clock every 2 minutes.

I'm tracking my wii fit activities as moderate. I'm not for sure if that's right or not but I'm out of breath when I'm doing those exercises!! I only earn about 1-2 points anyway.

I'm TRYING not to do the test daily. I normally use my wii fit in the afternoon so I don't like those numbers anyway. Under 200?? How exciting!!!! Once you reach onederland we'll have to throw you a cyber ww potluck partay!!!!!!!!

Okay I'm really going to bed now. Good night!!!

Good morning rockstars! Back to work! I ate out with Hubby last night and enjoyed. I don't do it every week but once in a while I eat out on wi night. I counted the points as best I could. But the point is. Today it is op all the time. Each week the goal is to have a loss at that WW scale.

Thanks for all your skinny vibes. I got on the ww scale without prior knowlege of what it might say and was pleased to lose a pound as I reported yesterday.

I got a bravo star in my meeting for sharing how I did M-Day weekend differently this time. It doesn't have to be the beginning of the end of my "diet" as it has many years in the past. Our leader even admitted that this is the time of the year that ww meetings go way down in attendance.
