I am comfortable giving up all of the above except the alcohol! I drink maybe 3 times a month with friends.

Have you started it?

I would give-up everything except the animal products. I wouldn't want to give up my caffeine, but if I had to...I would.
However, there's no way I'll give up my beef, fish, chicken, eggs, cream, and cheese...just won't do it.

Hi Hoops, I started last Saturday on a modified version. I ate salmon on Saturday, and yesterday and today I have eaten yogurt. However I want to do it completely. I gave up caffeine last fall (best thing I have ever done), and I don't drink anyway.

Would you like to do it with me?

I can do it, however I already know 2 parties I am going to... a gf's brithday on May 30 that she's been planning for over a month, and the end of the year party on June 5 (teacher) that is our biggest bash of the year... and I will drink at both. I am sure the premise behind it is to rid the body of toxins, so me having these events won't achieve that for me. After saying that, I do have a strong all or nothing mentality, but I am certain eating this way even with those 2 engagements will do wonders for me.

This works perfectly, because I already decided to base my eating primarily on fruits and vegetables. Today, I've eaten an orange. I already have vegetables in a strainer for a stir fry for lunch. So, I am on track.

What have you been eating?

I am heading over to Oprah's website to get the details. Maybe others will join us?

Okay, I was reading more about it, and the author said it is a process and not perfection!

So, I am in!

Some oatmeal contains gluten and others don't. If you aren't already using the kind that is gluten free, you could buy it and still enjoy your oatmeal!!! If all you had today was fruits, vegetables, and oatmeal, you did darn good!

I ate/drank an orange, soup, stir fry vegetables, smart pop popcorn, and a diet rite. I thought the popcorn would be alright, although please advise me on this???

All I've eaten today is 2 oranges and some icky vegetables. Well, the vegetables looked icky by the time lunch came around at work. I have a small refrigerator, although I must've had them out too long.

Off to the chiropractor and grocery store.

How was your day?

Yes, the caffeine withrawal is tough for those that consume it.

I feel great today!!!! It is day 2, and this is what I've eaten thus far..

Lunch- 2 oranges, plus about 1/2 cup vegetables.
Snack- 1 large strawberry and about 6 grapes (samples at Sam's club)
Dinner- large portabella mushroom, 1/4 yellow pepper, 1/4 red pepper, 1 tomato (all grilled)

I am stuffed from dinner. It was so yummy!

I went to Sam's Club and bought lots of fruits and vegetables.

No, I can go caffeine free, but I need to stay away from all things starchy and sugary to keep the migraines at bay!

Oh, Marbles, I am sure! The sugar is easy for me, but the starchy stuff tastes pretty yummy! Do you want to join us?
