Afternoon all.

Doewn 2.5 pounds this week. I honestly thought it would be more w/ TOM gone and all the exercise I have been doing. Do you believe I had the nerve to feel disappointed?

LOL...I should be grateful, not disappointed. I don't want anything other than a healthy mindset w/ this weight loss because it will help my body (and mind) to recover as well, as long as I am eating healthy, nutritious foods.

I have a cleaning at the dentist today, which sucks because of this rain. I would much rather be in bed, under the covers. Don't know if I will exercise. We'll see how much energy I have when I get home later.

I don't get home until about 5:33 and it takes about 15 minutes to get there...but I really need to start going to a meeting.

Today's meals are as follows

B - oatmeal with Splenda
L - oatmeal with Splenda
D - Large salad (I have leftover chicken breast I can put in it)
Snacks today will be oranges

I am trying to log onto the ww site (I'm a member but I don't see my tracking menu thingy) so I'm assuming my last membership has run out and I need to update it. I can't seem to get the site to allow me to pay very frustrating.

I will be going to the gym in exactly 20 minutes. I'm definately getting back on track with that this week. I so miss the gym.

Does anybody know of another site I can use to track my food?

thanks

You will feel so much better when you let go of that darned scale Cletra! Just do it for a week and see how you feel. The holding water for 2-3 days from sushi won't even bother you because you won't see it. You'll only see your loss on WI day.

Congrats Mike!!!!!! KUTGW!!!!
You should really try to get those points in every day, especially if you are not exercising. This way as you decrease your points (-1 every ten lbs you lose), you will keep losing. If you are only eating 20/24 now, when your body actually has only 20 per day, it will be harder to lose because you will already be used to 20. I hope that made sense. I am only on my first cup of coffee.

WTG Reg!!!!! Maybe tomorrow you can go back down to your previous route and then the following day (or 2) you can up it by half the time.

You were actually in my dream this morning imagine that???

You were telling me about point values for certain foods. Silly right? But just goes to show you that you are a natural born WW Leader!!!!!

Gail - I don't know if it's the same everywhere, but around here, our meetings only last 30 minutes, and we have to show up about 10 minutes or so early to weigh in, so if the meeting starts at 5:30 and you can't get there until 5:45 or 5:50, you'd miss it all, pretty much. Here, they lock the doors when the meeting starts, anyway, so there are no more walk-ins. (Oh, and to keep us all away from the bagel store next door. LOL)

Mike - Sounds like you are doing great! As long as you feel satisfied, and you get your heart healthy guidelines in (make sure you get your dairy servings ... all I see is cheese ... ) and take your vitamins, that is excellent! And 2 lbs down is great.

It's true! Crazy, but true ... we were discussing it last week with some ladies at the meeting ... and how strange it is ... to lock us all in ...

It's not like we can't get out at all, though ... it's a simple lock to turn and open the door.

you don't have to go to that extreme, just put in under the bathroom sink. I'm putting mine away tonight. It is still to much of a temptation.

ppl come in, WI, buy product or leave. once 6:00 comes around, everyone is sitting. Once in a while someone will come in late, but you can tell ppl get upset.
I'm really not impressed w/ my leader, don't get me wrong. She is a very nice person, but not very good at teaching. She is older, and not very entertaining. I would love to go to another meeting, but I would have to drive 1/2 hour to get there. I don't need to use the extra gas. We do have a lady in training that started up last week, and I'm betting she could be really motivating. We'll see.

Hope every mother had a Happy Mother's Day!

I visited my Mom and she wanted KFC. It's really good food, but loaded with salt. I spent most of my daily points on the 1 meal and had a snack later on. The scale didn't go up from that meal - maybe because we ate at 3 pm. Anyway, the scale is still up 4-6 lbs. from salty foods and a few things I shouldn't have eaten since last Weds weigh in. TOM was here and making me eat foods I really enjoy and I was really tired, so I didn't get in all my exercise either.

TODAY is a new day. I will be back on track with my points, with my exercise, with my water and trying to eat my dinner around 4-5 pm. Eating my dinner early and then not snacking at night, or only allowing a light snack at night seems to really help with weight loss! I'm hoping to lose the 4-6 lbs. of water weight/weight gain by Weds. night weigh in!!!! This week, if I can just get back to last week's weight, I'll be happy! If I lose anymore than that, I'll scream!

Ok, now I have to be VERY good today, tuesday and Weds. before weigh in!

Good morning all. I just can't keep up with all of you! Well, I've found a meeting, every Wed night in the next town over...it meets at 5:30PM do you think if I'm about 15-20 minutes late every meeting it would be a problem? I don't get home until about 5:33 and it takes about 15 minutes to get there...but I really need to start going to a meeting.

Does anybody know of another site I can use to track my food?

thanks
