Day 1
I started yesterday with 4 Jay Rob Egg White shakes, 1 Jay Robb Whey shake every two hours and 2 cups raw vegetable with baked tilapia for dinner.
I was not hungry and was down 5 pounds. I've been eating a diet of low fat, whole grain, raw vegetables, lower fat cheeses and yogurts prior to this cleanse. |

Can anyone suggest which Whey protein they used? I really want to start this tom morning and all I have is (Equate Walmart Brand) When Protein Isolate, it doesn't have any sugar added and pretty much carb free. But I'm not sure about the other No-No ingredients....I don't have the container on hand right now and tried looking on the web to see if they have a site where products are listed but had no success. I was using this PI for eggcream previously, do you think this would be good enough?
Also has anyone tried to add a bit of coffee to the shake? I’m thinking a bit of coffee would give it some flavour and make it more drinkable? Thanks all for the info, I REALLY need to get back on track.

Denise~ That is wonderful that you called customer service, AND they had answers for you!
Definitely let us know your loss on Friday. I don't know how you can avoid the scale like that. I love to weigh myself every morning when I wake up, naked of course. Heck, don't want to add any additional poundage in clothing! ![]() |

I got the diet from my sister and I am thinking about doing it. My co-worker lost over 200 lbs using Jay Robb's Fruit Flush and the Fat Burning diet. It works if you work it!

Day two done succesfully! I had a few cravings due to tom for some chocolate, but since I slept a lot of today it wasn't too tough to deal with them
![]() Looking fwd to seeing how the scale is in the morning - although no disappointment if nothing significant since it's tom (Laura I'm with you - first thing in the mornings, naked, before water or anything!) - I'll let you know! -Tink |

Well, the fruit flush ended for me yesterday at about 12:00. I just could not eat another bite of fruit and I was hungry. I had tuna salad for lunch and a big omelet for dinner. So, I got right back on my usual plan.
Tinker~ I don't really do these types of things mainly to lose weight. I do these when I need a restart and to get myself in the right frame of mind. I am a slow loser. I've accepted that. I did Atkins' Fat Fast and only lost 3 pounds but I was able to get focused on my plan during those 3 days. Because I am such a slow loser, I don't get on the scale often since that will sabotage me. I am sure I lost something but I doubt it's more than 2 or 3 pounds. I'll weigh myself on Saturday and let you guys know.

I keep hearing that protein shakes are used for gaining weight, how exactly does drinking the protein shakes on day one help to lose the weight?

Nkechi~ That is a great loss for your friend. I have the Fat Burning book now for about a week or so, but I haven't read it because I am currently enjoying Stillman's. Are you going to do the Fat Burning Diet after the Fruit FLush?
Tiff~ Just the low calories is enough to lose weight. Most protein drinks (low carb varieties) are 100 calories, the Isopure I used was 110 for 1 scoop. Did you start today? Tink~ Sleeping is one way not to give into cravings! Instead of chocolate, you could always have a chocolate protein shake. Even mix it and stick it in the freezer, stirring occasionally until it is icy. ![]() Aunatural~ Sorry it didn't work out for you. ![]() Nisha~ Oh fun! Your first day, and lots of potty break necessary! It is worth it on the scale tomorrow. Best to you!Moretta~ ![]()

Tiff~If my memory serves me correctly....On the salad, I used romaine lettuce, spinach, red and yellow peppers, peas, broccoli, and chicken. I used a very low fat, low calorie, low carb dressing on mine. Just enough to wet it. I am like you, I love ranch, but I also love bleu cheese dressing (chunky)! There are also those salad spritzers that may be good to use. I am not into vinegar! That is enough to make me gag!

Awesome, thanks Laura! I still have to pick up my fruits today after work, so I'll check out the salad spritzers, that should work, besides, it's only for 3 days! lol

Ugh - I'm struggling today - falling asleep at my desk! Also wanting my next portion of fruit already -but not due for another hour. I thought I was tired from tom, but wondering if it's not from the flush or a combo. I'm trying to make it through the day, but may wind up going home if I don't perk up soon. I won't give up, but wish I had more energy -
Any ideas from those of you who've done this before ? - Tink |

Hang in there Tinker! Your day will be over soon and you'll be finished! I just finished my last shake for the day, whew, I'm glad for that! The first 3 shakes were okay, not a problem, but I had to guzzle down the last 2! lol Now I'm looking forward to a nice big salad for dinner and then on to the fruit tomorrow!

You guys who are having problems getting through the second and third days, do you just not like fruit that much? What do you think is the biggest problem with it?? The reason I ask, I LOVE fruit, I could munch on it all the time, so I'm just wondering if it's possible for me to get burnt out on it with just eating it for two days. Did you all use the same fruits on both days??
I finished my dinner earlier and I have all of my fruit cut up and ready for tomorrow. |

Same for me - I LOVE fruit too - I had all my favorites - and it wasn't so much that I didn't want to eat fruit, a couple of times I wanted more than I was allowed and a couple of times I wanted something else as well. I missed the protein in my salad the 2 & 3 night too - but the shake was good.
I'm done as well and will let you know how it goes on the scale tomorrow. Denise I moaned when I read your note - I had forgotten completely about the possibility of doing it every week for 12 weeks!!!! Don't think I could either - at least not from where I stand right now - maybe by next week I'll feel differently. Have a good night all - Tink

Okay it's day 2 for me, I'll be ready to eat my fruit in about half an hour. My mind keeps telling me that I can't have it, so it's gonna be a difficult day! lol I'm afraid I'm gonna put on weight instead of losing! I hopped on the scale this morning, because it's an addiction to me, and I was only (yes I said only) down 1.5lbs. I was really hoping to lose more.
Can't wait to see how you girls did! Great job hanging in all 3 days! |

Down another .5 pounds this morning - finished the flush yesterday. So total of 2 lbs lost. Considering I was surprised with tom the night I began, not bad and I suspect that I'll wind up dropping more water as soon over the next couple of days - either way, I'm not disappointed because I lose so slowly. I'm going to go into at least a few days of the JayRobb Fruit Diet to use the fruit and see if I can keep going on it for awhile - but I'm already feeling the desire for other things, so I think it will be just a couple days.
Thanks for all of the support! I'll let you know how the next couple of days go. Good luck Tiff! Enjoy and savor your fruit! - Tink |

Wow I'm amazed down 4 pounds today! And the best part is day wasn't even that bad....getting ready to eat my fruits in a few mins..wondering has anyone kept repeating this diet instead of going into the 14 day Fruit diet? I ask this because day one seems to be nice for the body since it's a pretty much all water diet with the exception of the salad at night.

wow, I lost 12.2 pounds from the 3 day fruit flush!!! Now I have to figure out what to do to keep it off and lose more... . I suspect a lot of it is water weight because I pretty much stayed in the bathroom for 3 days....lol |
