Oh My word! Patty you are 61? You dont look it, and you wont crack.Just do your own pace, Ms Callans mom did them in her 70s. And did modified of the back> She shows you how.
![]() I love my coconut oil too. Trying a cup of coffee, decaf with two tsp cream, and one stevia. Hope it doesnt bring back cravings. If it does, its out the door!!! oh , came back in to say I took the test in the book and I am a severe carb addict. So maybe this will really work on me. Here is to hoping. Just heard about the earthquake.. hope all are safe.

Angela thank you Darling, and am taking everything you said in consideration.
Ya, it is really bad when you have to take medications but I have to, to live, so I have no choice in the matter. |

I know, I was just stressing that since you need your meds, you don't need to add further chemicals when there are natural and effective alternatives. Hope you are feeling better! |

Hi Everyone! Took me a while to catch up here! Love to see this moving so well!
Sheila, I see you made it here! Patty, the coconut oil is a wonderful addition to your diet as well as to use externally! I've been using it for several years now. I found out this morning that I'm an Auntie again although the little one was not due for another 6 weeks. SIL had some problems last night and early this morning and she had an emergency C-section this morning. I haven't got much info now but the baby was breathing on her own when I talked to my brother and she's at 3.5 lbs. He emailed a picture and she looks wonderful. I haven't heard more so I'm hoping my SIL is doing ok. My sister was able to go see them (I'm a few hours away) and will update me when she can. For now I'll just be hoping that no news is good news!

Hello all,
Last night when I got home I fed my kitties, but one of them who's always hungry Miss Kitty, just looked at her plate like she just couldn't take a bite. I knew something was wrong so I gave her some milk hoping she would be able to have a bit of nourishment, and slowly she drank a little and then went back for a little more. This morning she ate some ham, I hope she's okay, she's 18 years old. After all that, I kinda lost my appetite so I ate less than what I usually do. The scale is slowly but surely going down and down. Thursday through Sunday will be a challenge because my relatives are going to be here from France. My mom is Italian so everything's going to revolve around food. I will be strong! I will stick to this woe! Laurie- Last night I watched Nashvilles Next Country Star, and I voted for Melissa, she was the best! Today I had CM: baked chicken with asparagus and mozzarella I drank lots of water, and sat on my a** all day at work, lol. ![]() Lara |

Hi, Ladies. We are on vacation so we have been busy. For the most part, I have been able to stick to plan. Which is a great relief! I weighed this morning.... 170! Which means I am down 8 pounds in four weeks! I am happy!
I hope everyone is doing well! Kate |

Everything went well today, I got home at 12pm and was very hungry.I bought a lot of vitamins today and cromium. I took a cromium and got pain about an hour later. I dont know if it has to do with the cromium or not, I will take it tomorrow at my rm. Also got green tea pills an ..extra old age multivitamin with brocolli in it!!I also got some organic coconut oil, it is solid as a rock but I took a spoonfull and rubed it all over!!!!!!
My RM...... steak , green beans , 1/2 cup yogert , 1/2 cup rice pudding, coffee with milk.. I made a second cup of coffee and couldnt drink it, I was so full.. I have a small pork chop if I want a cm, I probably will.

Woops! Hi all!
![]() Linda, I'm praying that the baby and your SIL are fine. Way to go, Kate!! That is awesome! Lara, enjoy your company! And I'm glad to hear that the scale is cooperating! Keep up the good work! I hope your "Miss Kitty" is OK. Here's what I had tonight for my RM: shrimp, a few leftover meatballs (small ones, store-bought), leftover green beans, a few pieces of oven-baked squash, some cucumber/onion salad, a piece of chocolate chip zucchini cake (yum!), a piece of apple/zucchini bread, and a milk shake. What a good meal!! I'm heading outside in a bit -- it's so nice out. Have a wonderful evening, everyone! See you tomorrow!

Linda - one of my twin DD's was only 3 pounds at birth (I had a c-section as well) and she is perfectly healthy. Even now at 2.5 she is only 22 pounds. She is small but scrappy! Her twin was 5 pounds (now 27) I hope your SIL's baby is the same, small but healthy!
Quick post and I will do personals tonight. RM: pasta with tomato and meat sauce, 1 cup of fruit, pecan delight and piece of Arrow chocolate. I ran for 30 minutes. Have a great CAD day! Pam |

Hi all!
Stephanie, I know what you mean about wanting to be outside. It has been so nice here! Shelagh - how was your interview today? Angela - where do you buy the coconut oil that you use? Kate - that's a great loss! Good for you! So much for maintaining for me during my stressed-out season. I am so disgusted with myself. I have gained 7 lbs. Seriously, I have thought about going back to KK to get this weight off, because I am so stinking obsessed with food again. Doggone it... I was so close to my goal and now I just feel like a total failure. I am so afraid of being fat again, I can't even explain it. I need to realize that right now, things are what they are, and me gaining all kinds of weight won't change anything. Plus I gave all my fat clothes to the Goodwill so if I gain weight I will have nothing to wear.. I'm done with my pity party for today y'all. thanks for reading and I'll be around.. hopefully I'll be able to get a little control here soon!

My current jar is from Whole Foods, a company called Jungle Products. It tastes so clean and light and yummy. SO MUCH BETTER than my last batch of Tropical Traditions online... that tasted kind of funny.

MAJOR LCF POSTER!
|
Hey CADers and CALPers!!!
![]() ![]() Do you have room for one more?? It's great to see so many people following the program since the last time I posted here. I've been following WW since January and at first it was going pretty good for me but for the last few months I've become more and more frustrated!! I just can't seem to get the scale to move downward!! I've been gaining and lose the same 2-3 pounds for months now and it's driving me crazy. I always like CAD but had issues with overdoing my rm. I've been thinking lately to just completely quit and say the heck with it all but I've decided to try combining WW with CAD. Today is only day 2 for me but so far so good. I sure hope this helps because I'm at my wits end right now! I always lurk on the CAD thread because some of my old friends are here but I don't post. I hope it's okay that I join in with everyone. I just hope my idea works for me..... ![]() It looks like everyone is doing great here!!!! I'll have to go back and try to get caught up here.... to everyone!!!Hi to my previous CAD buddies mamagiff, coxbowen, glamazon, theredhead and la.lady, confetti & imjoyful!!

ORAKI! Welcome back! Glad to see your pretty face. I'm "new" here, too, we can try to make those scales go down together.
I think your idea sounds great-- whatever works and keeps you healthy! |
