Hey everyone!!

Ohhh....I love the pictures!!!! Steph!!! Such an inspiration!!! You go girl...that is fabulas!!! Your hubby is a cutie too!!

Laurie...whoo-hoo!!! T.V. YA!!!!! Now is that tonight? Or when? I need to watch ya!! Thats great news....you deserve it hun!!

Pamela, anything goes at the RM , it's the cm's that you have to watch. So go ahead and have whatever you want in the RM and then if you stall out, then take a look at your cm's. The Hellers, say to cut back on cm's but never your RM's unless you still can't lose when cutting back on CM's.

Kate, ya, the coffee with milk has to be drunk in 15 min, and only one cup with milk, sorry, hun, but it too can make you release insulin each time you drink it and the longer you savor it... I know the tuna probably gotcha too, so it's a good thing you found that one out!! This is why I love my one meal, there's no way I can make a mistake, I used to have one cm my first year on cad, and I always wondered if I was eating too much or what I was eating was making me gain (I was all over the place on the scales back then), I was even blaming green beans as being a crave inducment item, when in fact it was just too much food for me.....but remember, thats just me, everyone will be different in losing and what they can eat and what they can't eat, it's a trial and error thing....good luck hun and I hope this helps ya!!

Mikesmommy, yup, I remeber wash away beach before it got washed away.. There was a nice park there that my partents used to take us too. Now it's just a road going to tokeland. But there is a pull off spot. Lots of memories!! I don't like the beach though, isn't that funny, I hate the cold and wind, I'll go if it's really sunny out.

O.k. I have to get to lunch now...

I'm having faita's, strawberry shake, cookies, ice cream.
I may look in the salad bar for goodies.?

I'll come back later, I'm at work.

My scale is possessed!

Hi guys, just wanted to drop by and say hello.

Last week after all my ups and downs on the scale I finally wound up exactly where I started at 7 days before. Everyday when I wake up I get on the scale, off the scale, on and off until I see a number that I like, lol. Then I go take a shower and then get on the scale again, and I find I've lost weight. I think my scale is possessed. Can someone do an excorsism on it please? HAH.

So all this talk about cherry pie, that sounds so good. I've been thinking about sushi since yesterday so I might get some for my rm.

LA Lady--- try hot mint tea, anything with peppermint, mint or spearmint will soothe you tummy. Trader Joe's has very nice mint tea, if you've got one around you.

Honey, thanks but I can't have mint. Mint can cause you to get Heartburn. I didn't know that until recently. I guess that is why Rolaids never did my any good.

Hello all! I haven't posted since last week but I've been lurking from my blackberry

I had a 5 lb gain from making the switch from a low carb diet, but it seems to be on the way back down. This really is such a great lifestyle - one that seems to be sustainable for the long haul.

You are all so inspirational!!

Rebecca

Hi everyone, I'm back, I had such a big lunch...ugg, I'm full!!

Thanks Patty, wow that sounds like good weather to me, I wish we had that kind of summer, although then I would have to put up with the winters, so I guess I'll stick our year round 40-60 weather....
I'd sure have a nice tan though!!

Hi Rebecca!! Nice to see you again and yup, the weight does come right back off rather fast, at least you don't stall after a week or two on this plan, it's more of a consistant weight loss. I love cad!!!!

I could feel a slight decrease in across my hip section, so I think I'll stay off the bike alittle while longer!! It's making a difference. I tried my size 4 jeans on this morning and I could pull them up to my hips, but thats it... I don't think I'll ever get into those,.... we'll see.

O.k., back to work, ...

I just had to make another Nettrition order for my CLA extreme, I'm down to 5 pills.

Actually, we have very mild winters. We may have a total of a couple weeks of bad weather and then it warms up again.

Beccanany - this is a great woe, as it's something you can do for life. That is why I love it!

Cindy - what are the benefits of CLA? Why do you take it?

Patty - How is the itching today?

Pamela - what a beautiful place you live in!

LauraSuzz - sorry to hear about your possessed scale! lol If I hear of a scale exorcist I will send them your way!

Kate - I couldn't figure out the pics so I just copied a link to my photobucket account. Sorry, I am really bad when it comes to computer stuff!

Well, I made it through the day with my RM break. I had tuna for lunch and beef and veg with hot sauce for dins. I am sipping some decaf now and glad I didn't turn what was a nice breakfast into a disastrous off-plan day! I want to be at my low maintenance weight (I go up and down a couple of pounds) by Saturday. We are going away for 3 days and I will try to eat on plan but I think it will be hard. Trying to minimize the damage!

Pam

Kate I use photobucket.com . I just upload my pics to there and then for on the forums just copy and paste the [IMG] code below the photos.
Good to preview your post before you hit 'post' as you can sometimes accidently miss something out on the copy and posting and it won't work. HTH's

Pam, I was doing good until I had a run in with a girl on another thread, then it caused a slight itching. I am not even supposed to get stressed. I am just going to have to stay away from there. What is so sad, is the girls are so blinded by her. She is mean, cruel and spiteful, so I won't make the mistake of going back there again.

P.S. I just had to mention that it is now almost 5:30 p.m. and I am NOT hungry! And, I think that is due to my not having any artifical sweeteners today or any of that darn tuna with honey in it! I can't even think of anything that sounds good for dinner....

Kate Good for you. I haven't been hungry today either. I did eat my salad, toast, apple butter, butter and 4 Twizzers... That should make me around 1,000 calories today...
Oh I had 2 slices of Cheddar Cheese at my CMs... the Cheddar Cheese really curbs my appetite...

Hi All -
I survived the day by compromising - I had a good healthy high protein RM of mahi mahi & egg salad and then enjoyed some dark chocolate as well! I ate quite a bit of both and haven't been hungry since. I think the coffee helped to curb the insane cravings this morning - thank goodness that's under control for now. The fruit yesterday may have set me off as well as tom.

What beautiful pictures! I've heard NZ is gorgeous.

Pam - did you find you needed cms today since you had your rm for breakfast? (I think you usually do just one meal right? or am I getting confused with all the new folks?)

Have a good evening all - can't wait to get home and unwind!
- Amy
