Have a great day, and oh, I had a neighbor in Baton Rouge that was in her 50's and I asked her how she kept so trim, and she said that she just eats once a day, and little did she know that she was doing CAD. She said when she eats, she eats a lot. This was before I knew about CAD...

MommaPatty - I've personally known several people that ate 1 meal a day at some point in their life and they ended up losing a lot of weight this way! My Mom was one of them. She used to eat a late lunch at about 2 pm and would stop and eat Burger King - a Whopper w/cheese and chocolate shake 5 days a week on her way to her 3-11 pm shift. She would not eat anything while at work or after work. This was not the healthiest of foods for sure, but she ended up losing 80 pounds in 4 months by doing this. She's been on many diets in her life and she wasn't even trying to diet at this point in her life! I know I've been trying to eat my dinner by 4-5 pm and nothing else after or a light snack. Eating the biggest meal early really seemed to help my weight loss!

Yep, I'm here and goin' strong. Me too! I amen the fact that the cravings went away when I quit eating the cms. That's me though. Some people need to eat and that is fine. I exercise alot and have done a couple marathons already this year. I am going to do the 3Day Breast Cancer walk which is walking 20 miles for 3 days equaling 60 miles in November. Today's rm was Taco Bell. I had 3 tacos, 3 chalupas, 2 cans of Coke, 4 small Snicker ice creams. YUM! I am full and it is now 4:30 . I ate at noon.

Hi Everyone -
I am so excited over a really funny simple thing today - I want Mint Chocolate Chip Ice cream (one of my favorites) and I CAN HAVE IT! And keep losing weight I was so excited picking it up at the store for with my RM tonight. I'm eating later than usual but about to go pull it all together. I'm having a blue cheese burger patty, a yummy salad, an artichoke, some strawberries fresh from the farm today and then my ice cream! Sounds so good I'd better get cooking! Also sounds like a lot, maybe I'll save the artichoke till tomorrow - we'll see!

Hope you all had a great day - it was glorious weather here - it was a pleasure running errands in the sunshine.

- Tink

Hi All,
Hope it's been a good day for everyone. I've had another good one and feel great. The blood sugar is starting to check out well again. I'm so proud of all of you and the way you are each working your program. It's great to be a part of such a group of losers
Hope it's a blessed Sunday for each of you whether you are a mother or not, whether your mother is still living or you have good memories or you have someone with whom you can have that relationship.

Happy Day to all. I am going out with my hubby and 4 children. I don't know where we'll have lunch because it is a suprise but I will stash some Kit Kats with a freezer pack in my purse. We live in Arizona! I'll tell yo the details later.

Happy Mother's Day Everyone! Just a quickie because we've got to leave soon to visit the Grandmas and then a cookout at SIL's today.

Patty, congrats on the loss. This seems to be a bounce week for me but I'm not going to worry. Just 2 lbs going up and down everyday. Seems like I'm at a point where my body is not wanting to really give it up. But I'm patient and will stick with my plan and wait it out!

Tomorrow is my surgery so I may not be checking in. The dr. thinks I'll be home by noon and I'll be feeling great. I hope so!

Hope everyone has a great day today!

Happy Mother's Day Everyone!

Scale is funny today - it tried to go .5 higher first then .5 lower the next time then decided to stay where it was yesterday!

I thoroughly enjoyed my mint chip ice cream last night. It's not something I eat or even want all the time but when I do get to have it, boy do I love it - and they even had one of my favorite brands on sale - Breyers - which is a bigger carton than I like to have around, but the bargain hunter in me couldn't resist - and if it turns out I can eat it without slowing the loss then that's great with me

Today one of my best friends and I are going to toast our mothers at my mom's favorite restaurant. This will be the 6th mother's day since my mom has passed and her 4th. We have a nice little tradition to honor them so that makes it nice. I'll also be thinking of all of you enjoying your special days with your families!

Not sure what I'll be eating because everything there is so good but I do know that they have one of my favorite desserts - a warm chocolate torte with gelato on it - oh yum - so I'm quite sure that will be on the menu to share.

Here's a little toast to all of us with our plan, all of our mom's and all of you who are mom's - from me to you! Cheers!!!

- Tink

Thanks Tink,
Eat something your mother would have liked....hopefully like chocolate. That is neat that you two get together to honor yours like that. I used to go to a church where they would sing only Mother's Day tear jerkers, etc. but now they only mention it and honor those there who are mothers with a sentence or two. It's a tough time for many and you are starting a good tradition of remembrances.
Orianna, hope you and your family have a great time together too.

Happy Mothers Day !!!

I got a call this morning from a person in town saying that my son was on t.v. news station, wishing me a happy mom's day,(he's in Iraq), oh I started crying cause I missed it! I hope they will play it again tonight. If not, then I will call the station and get a transcript of it.

We're having a meal at home today, cubed steak, garlicly potatoes, veggie, dessert.

Yesterday I threw together chocolate chips, peanut butter, butter. Melt that and pour over your favorite cereal and press into a pan to chill. Sounds good anyway, so I'll let you all know.

Tom finally showed up and all my swelling is down today Things just keep getting better.

I'll see you tomorrow, girls.....have a good day!!

Happy Day to all. It was a mixed emotion type of day. Last year my husband's mother was tragically burnt to death in a mobile home fire while she was asleep so I know it was hard for him even though he tried to make a nice day for me and the kids. My mom isn't at ease with my hubby so she is sort of out of the picture too. So sad that people can't just forgive and forget or just plain get along. Life is too short. Anyway I have my 4 sweet children and loving husband and I am hanging on to them forever!! They took me for my rm to the Claim Jumper. It has huge portions of which I eat all of. I had fish and chips with coleslaw. I had Coke and a huge piece of carrot cake that filled a whole plate. I shared one bite with each of my family and then I ate the rest. It was yummy. I learned to ask for my dessert when the waiter comes to fill my drink up during the meal. I end up getting all my food in in an hour that way. Hope everyone had a lovely day.
