Whoo-Hoo!!!
I did it, I had ANOTHER low portion day!! I was just about to eat something else when I got called out, so they saved me!! I did have a homemade desert that I forgot I had packed for today, so I had that, it was a chocolate/peanut butter/cereal, bar. I was full but not too full....for a change!! I hope to continue this for 2 weeks, and I'll see what happens. At least I know what maintance will be like for me....one meal of ANYTHING!! And as much as I want!! ![]() I'm off this week-end, so I hope I don't mess up. I'm going to fix something tonight for tomorrow, that way I'll have something ready and not go out to eat or something.

Good morning,
Shelagh, thanks for letting me know your are reading my blog. I plan to get right back to it as soon as I get home. Carol, congratulations on your daughters graduation. Did you lose the first 30 lbs. on CALP/CAD or another program? My sister said something about picking up her computer today so I thought I had better post my exercise and food choices for yesterday. I completed several laps in the pool last night and now I want one again. My menu for yesterday included: CM: 2 cups of coffee CM: Salad w/ranch, bacon bits, colby cheese, and leftover chicken salad RM: Salad w/ranch, steak, broccoli, and corn on the cob I drank plenty of water. Have a wonderful day! |

Hi everyone!!
I did 1.5 hours on my bike last night. I am now down to 146.8.. That went fast, so today I had a ribeye stir fry, toast (2) , one scoop ice cream, 3 nuts, 1 bite licorice, drink/1/3c braggs. I measured it this time... thats alot, but it's good in my fruit drink.Patty, I thought you was gone....welcome back hun!! 61....no way!!! You don't look it!! Good for you! Enjoy your birthday today!! ![]() I have lost some inches this week..... chest remains at... 40....waist..33....hips...38!! Getting there, what ever it takes to get into a size 4, a comfy 4 that is!! Well, tomorrow we're going to go visit my sis, and have a BBQ lunch, then to the casino for an hour ONLY!!! I don't go as much now, kinda got out of the habit, so it's not fun anymore and I hate to hand over my money.... Have a good week-end girls, I'll try to get in here before we leave... Shelagh - I hear all the time that they grow up fast! I already can't believe they are 2. I love this age, and I will miss my babies!
Carol - congrats on DD's graduation! What a milestone! Patty - Happy, Happy Birthday! You do not look 61! Glad you had a good time, but it's good to have you back! Cindy - you are one hot mama (and grandma)! lol! You look fantastic! In the old posts I am at the part where you just had your surgery. You posted a couple of pics and you looked great then but you look even better now! Linda - in the old posts you are back to Atkins. Are you Atkins-ing (lol) now or CAD'ing? We took the girls to a theme park today (Canada's Wonderland for the Canadian gals on this thread)! RM was a hotdog, some strawberry shortcake and some chocolate covered almonds. Yum-o! Have a great weekend! Pam Last edited by EmandM : 06-21-2008 at 05:19 PM. |

Good Morning ladies, and Cindy, you look just fabulous.
Well I am back to CAD today. I gained a few pounds while we were gone, but I expected it. I am going to try to get back to the one meal a day today. I may be on here all day today for support or between doing my laundry. I have got to realize that it is OK to be Hungry. With that attitude I will make it. Thanks for all the Birthday wishes. You are a great bunch of ladies. Got to check my washing so best get busy. See ya...

Patty - we can support each other. I am going to try starting tomorrow to go back to one meal. I did it years ago and it worked really well for me. I somehow can't seem to do it now though! Could be I am a lot more active, but that just means i need to eat more during my RM! lol Anyway, today I had scambled eggs and cheese and I wasn't even hungry, so not sure why I did that. Now I am hungrier than before I ate! Grrrrr!

Pam the CM's made me hungrier too. That is why I am getting back to just the 1 meal unless I just can't make it, and will eat just a little protein..

Hey Patty, you can do it!!!! Yeah!!!
We went to the carnival and I brought some pork chops but when I started to eat them I noticed that they wern't cooked enough. So I just didn't eat. I wasn't even that hungry. I cooked them somemore and ate them at 3 pm... Then I cooked a cake ,low carb, srom Stella's web site, so for RM I had this cake and some yogurt. I have been thinking about low carb baking. It is so expensive and full of splenda!Since we can have a carb at RM why go to all the trouble of cooking low carb..I swear that cake is sitting in my tummy like a rock ![]() Back to one meal a day. I really liked doing it until I got this UTI,, I am feeling better now ,only 5 days left on antibiotics. So I am in on the one meal a day......Shelagh |
