Hi girls....wow what a day I'v e had so far....the staff is so grouchy and it's tense here at work!! State will be leaving today!! We passed with flying colors, like we always do, but they still get so agitated!!

Tink, yes there's a whole section on cla/gla thread in the vitamin threads, Trish heads that one. It's a long one too.

I know, it's really fun to go back and read all the posts, but boy does it ever drain ya, I had to take it alittle at a time!! I'm glad everyone is getting something from them. Angela is still here, but she only comes in now and then.....we miss you Angela!!!

I'm sorry, I've been trying to get this posted all day....it's been a wild day at work.

I'll see you all tomorrow!!

Tink and Shelagh - I almost did that yesterday! (Posted something and then realized I was reading the old threads)! I am only on page 22 and I feel like I spend ages on the computer! I love catching up with everyone!

Patty - I too would have thought you would feel worse. Glad you didn't though! Are you on antibiotics?

Cindy - glad to hear you passed, but sorry to hear it was so tense and stressful. That is never fun. Work is about to get crazy for me. Report cards are due next week ! EEK! I haven't started. I guess I am still waiting for the report card elves to come in the night and do them for me! heh heh! Wouldn't that be nice!

Good Morning -
I'm hanging at 155.5 (saw 156 on the scale but it landed 155.5) today. Of course I'd hoped I would continue the daily whooshes, but I'm okay with it as long as I continue downward. Plus I'm not surprised since I had a big serving of trail mix with my RM yesterday and I was wondering if that might be an issue for me. It's not something I have very often anyway so no big deal if I don't have it again for awhile. Especially since I want to see those new numbers 151 and then into the 140's!!

It's my early day at work so I'll check in from there later. Have a good morning everyone!

Good morning,

Patty, good job getting to the doctor. I hope you feel better soon.

Pam, I think the bowflex is a great workout since I can build up a sweat doing it.

Shelagh, sorry to hear about your mom being in pain. Enjoy spending time with your mom and I hope she is feeling better soon.

I have WATP scheduled for this morning and will be getting it done soon.

My menu for yesterday included:

CM: 2 cups of Coffee

CM: Pork chop and green beans w/vinaigrette

RM: Salad w/ranch, prime rib w/au jus, asparagus w/mayo, and Haagan Das ice cream bar

I took my chromium and drank plenty of water.

Hi girls....it's a much better day today at work!

Patty, I'm so glad you went to the doc....now you'll feel good for your trip! Sometimes we can infections and don't know it until it overwhelms us!!

Pam, you a school teacher? My hats off to you!! What grade do you teach? Speaking od old posts....I DID POST THERE!!! And it brought it up to our current one....so there's two now. If nobody else posts on the old one, it will disappear down in the threads... I can't beleive I did that.

I'm doing a SHAKE today....I can't beleive I'm finally going to do it!! It's a vanilla shake with ...strawberries, banana, milk, (cream, if I can find it), almond flavored davanci. Yum!! And two chicken legs...also a doughnut. I need to wean myself slowly.... besides, my hunny bought the doughnuts, just for me, so I can't waste them!!

I am up another pound...150!! I think TOM is near. Oh and guess what?!! I'm wearing my jeans tucked in finally!! Yea and with a belt!! I have a pink shirt bodysuit that fits really good, got it at Lands End, two for one sale, so I got a pink one and a white one. My swelling is going down slowly but surely.
Next weekend is the water park, but it's raining and cold and the wind is blowing!! I think we better change it to July or something.

I'll post this and come back later.
Have a good CAD day, girls!!

Thanks girls, I just didn't realize that I was so sick and the meds are already working and yes I am on Penicillin.
I have been washing towels today, trying to get all the laundry done before we leave Tuesday.
I am also doing my pedicure for the trip. I am using a Crimson Sparkle Bright Red for the Birthday Party. I may dress in Red. Have I told anyone that I love RED. It is my favorite color. I have a beautiful capri set that is bright red. I have so much to chose from that I am having a hard time deciding..

My mood is just wonderful today, so I can tell the meds are working. I am just a little weak yet, but feel so much better.

I will be back later. I have to finish my toes.

Glad to see all you girls are all doing well on this fine Friday!

We'll me WI this a.m. stayed at 162.8 which is ok because yesterday I added a snack (peanuts) a no-no. Today I had:
B: 2 scrambled eggs w/diet mayo & coffee w/creamer
L: Quiznos - Side Salad w/honey mustard & red wine vineagrette (mixed) & croutons
1 Sammie sandwich - chicken (order comes w/2 but I gave the other one
away
6 donut holes & 1 chocolate donut & 3 peppermints

My RM was good - feel satisfied.

I decided to have a dessert with my RM since I've been doing good not binging (it's been 14 days) & it feels great! Tomorrow I plan to get back to my routine with Jehovah God's will. One day at a time!

I will be in St. Louis, MO Sunday through Wednesday so I will not be posting nor reading while I am gone. Also, unless they have a scale at the hotel, I will not be WI. One day at a time! Going for a workshop & I'm looking forward to it because I've never been to St. Louis.

Everyone take care & I hope you all have a great weekend & many successful results on your WOE.

Bye!

Hi ladies!

Cindy - yes, I am a teacher. I teach grade 5 (10 and 11 year olds). It is a wonderful age. They are independent yet they still respect their teacher! I love my job, but it is super hectic at this time of year with report cards, not to mention all the kids in "June" mode! lol I bet the gain is TOM stuff! It will come right off when you are finished. LOL about responding on the other thread! How far are you in the re-reads? I am on page 22 or something. I read each night for what seems like ages, but I am still only in February!

Patty - I am in desperate need of a pedicure! Your toes sounds so pretty!

Tink - what style did you get? I have an angled bob (a la Posh Spice)! lol But in this humidity it's more like Monica from Friends (you know the one where she has BIG hair)? My hair is straight, but it tends to expand in this weather! (37 Celsius which is VERY hot)!

PepPatty - your RM sounds yummy!

Hey girls....o.k., now I have to paint my toes for the summer, thats the only time I do it...sandals...

Trish, have a good time in St Loius!!! Eat some good RM's and stay on plan as best as you can, you'll come home a happier person!!

Pam, I can skim through the old posts, since I remember alot of stuff already, so I just fast forward it some. I'll see some old timers and smile, I remeber them and miss them!! Now we have new members and new memories to make!!

I am thinking I'm going to cancel next weekends water park...it's soooo nasty out now and no end in sight!! I'm not going to pay $30-40 for one ticket and not enjoy going, or staying home. I'll have to call my daughter and see if we can do it in July, her step daughter is only here for a month or so, and she wanted to do this for her!! I'll still take some more (during) pictures though, this weekend, and if I'm real lucky, I'll get them up.

I did really good for my RM today....shake (no banana), 2 chicken legs, 1 cookie, 1 doughnut, 2 licorice. That still sounds like alot, but beleive me it's really downsized compared to what I have been eating!! The shake got so big, that I couldn't fit the banana in it... and I used milk 2%, and 2oz half/half. It was good and filling, I'm doing it again tomorrow.

My schedule got changed today and now I have the weekend off.... So my meal can change anytime between now and then!

Well, gotta finnish up work and go tanning at 7pm, then an hour on the ole bike!! I did an hour last night too. So I'm getting back into my routine!!

I'll check in tomorrow, girls...have a good night!!

Hey ladies.. how is everyone?

Cindy - I used to tan.. years and years ago. But my mom started harping on me about how bad it was for my skin so I stopped going! You said that your RM sounded like a lot.. not to me it doesn't! But your shake sounds really good.

Patty - enjoy your red toenails! I need to do mine. I won't go have a pedicure because I HATE when people mess with my feet! Plus I think my feet are disgusting. So.. if I want to wear my sandals I need to do something with these toes of mine!

EmandM - yep, it takes FOREVER to get through all the threads. I read them all before I started posting. I think. It's been awhile for me!

I just know the scale is going to go down tomorrow. I have maintained all of this week (and I've been good I PROMISE).. but today and yesterday I spent a lot of time outside, sweating. UGH. I hate sweating. So I had a LOT of water and I'm not really feeling much like eating an RM but I probably will since I haven't eaten since yesterday. Vanilla yogurt with grape nuts in it sounds pretty good!

I'd better run for now.. y'all have a good evening!

Cindy - I am reading every post! I don't want to miss anything. I am at the part where you talk about not having 5 minute breaks in your hour, so continuous eating for 20 minutes (or however long). Do you still do this? I find my stomach has really shrunk and I can't eat as much as I think I can (or want to) during my RM. I guess that's a good thing! I have been back on CAD since May 18th and I have lost 2 pounds, but more importantly I have NO CRAVINGS, which is why I returned to this plan in the first place! Can you remind me why you do the shakes? Do you just like them? Maybe I will try some too. What brand do you buy? We probably don't get them here (Canada) anyway!

Patty - don't sell yourself short lady! I have only "known" you a few short weeks but I think you are fabulous!

I need a pedicure too!

Everyone sounds so happy and ready for the weekend! Me included!

Had a good day today - met my friend at Applebees for our weekly catch up chat. Had my RM there - Margarita, oriental chicken salad - a bite of her onion rings and then 2 pieces of dark chocolate. Wasn't really all that much, especially compared to what I usually have, but I was actually really satisfied.

I had my hair cut into layers around my face and around the bottom few inches around my shoulders and colored a dark chocolate brown with some auburn highlights. It was a lighter brown naturally - but this is the color I grew up with. One of these days I'll get some pictures up here for everyone

Have a great night all - I'm off to watch some shows and slip off to sleep since I was up early.

- Tink

Hi

I am still here, on plan. I gained a little adding more carbs but today I woke up feeling great!.. My mom is here and she is always telling me to eat fruit!! She thinks it will make me feel better. Yesturday I waited too long between cm and rm and I was starved. Had-pork chop, mashed cauliflower, creamed spinach.. even went back for seconds-- then a small piece of pie and ice cream....They all ate ice cream and rice pudding during the evening but NOT me....I was very hungry at midnight so I had some left over steak..
I am still reading Cindys old posts. Do you still do cad with very little balance?? Your struggles and stalls and subsequent success make life easier for me. I know it can be done.....You should write a book!!
Just met mammagif(sp) who is riding her bike all over. Can you say inspiration!!!
Yesturday I had terrible stomach cramps and diahrea!!!yuk!! Of course my mom thinks it is the way I am eating.BUT I have no cravings, I only eat at meal time and mostly I feel great. On Atkins I lost weight but I felt weak.
Teri, thanks , as usual for your encouragement. I am patiently waiting for you next weigh in so I can see the numbers change,,Fingers and toes crossed for you.-------Shelagh
