Sorry to hear that Patty! Is there maybe a way you can eat your RM until your just about full and end it with a tiny bit of cereal? I LOVE ice cream and I would eat a big RM and get full and end it with 1 scoop of ice cream and be done and satisfied. For many years, I would have a huge bowl of ice cream, 3-4 scoops and still want more. But, now I learned to just be happy with a small amount. I kind of had told myself - that I could have 1 scoop of ice cream a day and if I went overboard again I would not allow myself to have any ice cream in the house! Well, I knew I didn't want to give up ice cream completely - so I am happy with the little bit I have everyday, lol!

flower You have a point Dear. I am just going to have to use good judgment. I am not one that can eat all that I want to in my RM and lose. I really don't know how Rachael ever did that, and she didn't exercise either. She kept saying, " You can have anything you want, as much as, you want, as long as, you eat that in 1 hr. Well according to her, she ate dessert every day, if she wanted it and great amounts of food, but then of course, she wasn't on any medications, so that is probably why she had great success, with what, she was doing. I love ice cream too, and I need to eat 1 scoop instead of three...

I hope all of you have had a wonderful afternoon. Mine has been rough today. I had the Chronic Itching hit this morning and had it all day, so I have been very restless.
Maybe I will feel better when I have my RM. At least that will take my mind off of it while I am eating.

I really think stress has brought the itching on. I was really stressed out yesterday for 2 reasons...

Oh Patty I'm sorry to hear about your itching again! I know you are trying so hard. You know, the CAD is one thing that we don't have to stress about, really. I'm pretty sure that a bowl of cereal outside of your RM is not going to cause a 2 lb fat gain. It's water. So try not to stress about it sweetie.. you're doing great.

Flower, thanks for asking, but no, I can't get more sleep. I try, but I can't fall asleep before around 10:00 during the week and I have to be up at 2:00 for work. It's only until my DS starts school in the fall and then I can work some "normal" hours while he's at school. I don't nap well either, never have. It takes me FOREVER to fall asleep! So for now, I'm just doing what I have to do, y'know?

Cindy.. size 8 jeans.. I don't know if I have ever been a size 8. Oh and I love the Bare Minerals makeup too! It's pricey but it's so easy to put on and looks great!

I hope you all have a wonderful evening. Patty, remember... no stressing! You'll be fine!

Dana, thanks...

Menu:
Ham and Cheese Roll-Ups, 1 small piece of Chicken
RM, was Grilled Chicken Salad, Toast with Butter and Apple Butter, Cereal...

Ya, I had my cereal but with my meal...

I will be so glad when I can start exercising again. As long as, I am itching no exercise and I feel that is probably the cause of the weight gain, because I was exercising so hard before.

Good Morning Girls...

Well my weight has been the same the last 3 days. At least I am not still gaining. Today I am going to try to get back to my weight lifting. I just pray I don't have any itching today.

All of you be very blessed and have a wonderful CAD Day and most of all have a wonderful Sunday.

Henry is playing in the scramble and that will give me time to get some more stuff done.

Well girls I just don't know what to do. I am going to try my best to get down to 1 meal a day today. I am just not losing. It may be the medicine, but there isn't anything I can do about that, so I pray that I have the strength to do it. I am back up to 178.8 and that makes me sick. I'm really not eating that much to warrant me not to lose. I am so scared that it is just going to pile on more and more...

Getting ready to go to town with DH and DS so they can work on MIL's yard plus do a few errands. Still feeling great and staying on plan. The after surgery 5 lbs is still hanging on but I'm trying to be patient. I'm sure once I get back to working out more, it will go away!

Ok. for today I am going to try an experiment. I am going to eat my RM at Noon, like Cindy does. That way I will have time to burn the calories before bedtime. Henry is going to be gone all day until late this evening, so I thought this would be a good time to try it. I am going to eat until I get stuffed, and see, if this works for me. I have been wanting French Toast with lots of maple syrup, so this will be a good time for me to try this.. Anyway, wish me luck and hope not to want to eat again until tomorrow..

Good morning,

DH wants to get started on our day so I will chat later.

I am so glad I scheduled my exercises the way I did. We didn't get home until 12:30 am and did not get the Bowflex done. Since Sundays are supposed to be our day off, I get to count Saturday as my day off and will get it done today.

DH and I worked all day yesterday getting our bedroom set into DD#2 room. It took us several hours to gather her possessions and put them into bags and boxes. All of her clothes, CD's, DVD's, magazines, jewelry, etc., are sitting in my living room for her to sort through and/or eliminate when she gets home from work today.

We met BIL and SIL at the hotel they were staying at and had dinner there as well. Apparently it is an annual event for them to gather with other Harley riders and hang out. We had a great time and are making plans to join them in Reno, NV for "Street Vibrations" in September.

DH and I are going to be getting our bedroom set out of the trailer and into our room today. It shouldn't take us as long today since we already moved everything into boxes and all of our clothes are on the floor out of our way.

My menu for yesterday included:

CM: 2 cups of coffee

CM: Pork chop and green beans w/vinaigrette

RM: Salad w/ranch, olives, & tomatoes, chicken picatta, and zucchini & carrots.

I took my chromium and drank my water.

Have a wonderful day!

Hi girls!

I will be having my lunch as soon as I post this. I'm having a great day at work and lunch is: ribeyes, tortilla chips, macaroni salad, odds and ends of desert...candy, cookie, muffin, drink/braggs.

They have enchilladas in there, but I don't think I'll have any of those.

Patty, just remember that if you get hungry tonight, have protein!! Good luck hun!! I know you can do this!

O.k., I'll be back later.

Cindy thanks Darling, this is the first time I have tried doing the CM at Noon. I am so full, I just don't know how I can lose doing this... Now I am thinking about waiting until tomorrow to lift weights because of my itching so bad yesterday... I just have to make sure that I take my Tagamet before I eat and I don't itch.. weird isn't it?

You will lose eating your meal at lunch. The only reason why I eat at lunch is because I would go to bed on a full tummy and then wake up to bloat and water bags under my eyes!! Nice to go to work like that...

And I started losing faster too!

Cindy do you mean that if you eat it at lunch you won't have bags under your eyes? My goodness, I had them so bad this morning, and I feel fat today, too. I may have to fight Henry on this, but I would rather eat my big meal at lunch anyway, then at night... I may just have to put my foot down. Ha, Ha....

Yup, It's too many carbs to go to bed on. So when I eat early in the day, I don't get that bloated feeling and no water under my eyes and I lose better, so maybe this IS what you need too! Just explain to him that your tummy feels better when you eat earlier in the day, maybe if you do this, you can get off your tummy meds?! It's worth a try, but give it a week before deciding to go back, this gives your body time to adjust to the new eating schedule!!

Ah, thanks Cindy. I sure will give it a try. That would be wonderful to be able to drop all the meds for my stomach... I think by taking them my food does not digest as fast as normal so therefore I had the acid reflux. I know my SIL use to eat her main meal at 2:00 in the afternoon...

I'm doing that too and sleep so much better. One day I even ate my RM at breakfast (It was because there was something I wanted that I didn't want to wait to have..The Hellers would not approve of switching for such a lame excuse )

I have had my RM as early as 9am before and still wasn't hungry until the next day. I just like doing one meal so much cause I can eat it anytime I want too, I have even had it at night time, but still didn't like eating that late, as a matter of fact, eating after 12 or 1pm is too late, it makes me fee sluggish and I don't digest well and I get cravings before bedtime!! So I like mine really early, but stick with lunch type foods, sometimes I'll have a cereal day or waffel's, but not too often. I have some cereal to use up, maybe I do a cereal day tomorrow.

Oh by the way, my lunch changed, they didn't have the mac. salad, so I had soup, but didn't like it, so I just had my steak, chips, candy, cookie, more candy....l

Patty, when I was doing CAD I always did my RM at lunch with a very small CM in the evenings. I sleep better and feel better when I have the biggest meal of the day at lunch. Hope it goes well for you!
