3. Did you have any difficulty at first with losing?
1. For me, it would be the apple (I dont like bananas). I was so happy to eat an apple on the first week !! Nothing is off limits on WW.....you just have to figure it in.

2. No, no low carb WW for me.

3. No, no difficulty.......I'm actually doing much better than I thought I would. I was very used to rapid weight loss with Atkins, but as you can see from my success, if you work the program to the letter you can lose at a good rate.

I vote "after" so you can burn off some of dinner. If I walk "before" I tend to work up an appetite.

I skipped my morning walk.......I dont want to get in the "I have to walk every day" mode. Instead I took time for myself.......had lunch at the beach and read a book.

If hubby gets home before dark I'll try to get a little walk in....but I wont go nuts if I cant.

Enjoy your walk !!

140s

You drink the WW shakes, correct? I just noticed that the orange ones have 10g of protein. Does the vanilla too?

I had one for breakfast and didnt have time to eat lunch until late.....I was OK....not starving......I think the shake is to thank. Is that your experience as well ?

Just got back from the doctors office and the supermarket. Boy do I hate the supermarket, especially my local Waldbaums. The only WW products they had left (I guess after the weekend) were the yogurts, which I love, but I really wanted to try some of that new cheese too. I also hate my Waldbaums because there is a really creepy dairy guy that is always there and he always hits on me. *Ack*

Yeah...he freaks me out. I almost want to ask my ex to come food shopping w/ me next time.No...seriously.

I only got to do the NordicTrack and that was only 1AP. I figured I didn't wanna burn out on cardio because I knew I would have a long day and I already deal w/ fatigue. I also did my upper weights. I do 3 sets of 6 different bicep, shoulder and tricep exercises at 12 reps a set. (5lbs) I never count these AP's because it only takes me 9-12 minutes. Does anyone count their weight work????

I just had an awesome saiad and now I need to rest a bit.

Does anyone have tummy issues after drinking the shakes? They're very tasty but I think I'll leave them alone.

Good morning all. It took a little while to read the last 5 pages. Step away from the computer for a few hours and the vine goes from 1 page to 6! WOW
We ARE a quick group aren't we???

I Love chickpeas too I made the roasted recipe last night and I could have eaten the whole thing.

I just started on WW this week. I've been low carbing for YEARS -- but kept gaining and losing and gaining and losing -- on plan / off plan / etc etc etc. I got tired of it and decided to try and do something with more variety and that I could do for the rest of my life. So far so good. BUT I know that because of my binging and starving that it might take a while for me to start losing again.

Anyway, I appreciate your input!
Hi regandy and welcome!!! I Love your profile pic, it's awesome!!!!!!! On WW You can actually eat that cake.

1. Me no likey bananas, but I ate fruit right away. Fruit is very low GI, so I was not afraid of it.

2. I was going to do a LOw GI, GL version of WW but it was too much work for me. I like to keep things simple. I am choosing all whole grain products and staying away from things that trigger me to binge like cold cereals and breads.

Unfortunately, is is so. It all started with just the headaches about 4 weeks ago. I knew it was the splenda because I was off all AS and just using stevia. Splenda was the only one I incorporated back initially and that is when the headaches started. (Eventually I did use Aspertame and Sugar Twin, but no headaches).

The itching started about 10 days ago and it is only getting worse. You should google splenda and itchy and see what you get. We are not the only ones.

At least your W's guy is alive. The guy at mine, ignores customers and is snippy with them when they ask for something that's not on the shelve.

The only yogurt they had left was Lemon........I bought 8. The mixed berry is my favorite, Key Lime 2nd best, Lemon 3rd best, raspberry 4th best

I dont like the funky flavors........boston creme, etc.
