When I gain this week you can say "It must have been the beers and fries, Reg"

I think it's cool that you listed the cookie dough !! I'm proud of you !! for sharing !!

If you can afford it (WPAs) then you should have it...and I'm sure you enjoyed it !!

So that just makes next week more of a challenge, because now that I can eat I am starving. I am going to hang in there though and I might just make my Memorial Day goal after all.

Happy Mother's to the great mommy's here and to anyone that cares for and nutures someone. God Bless You.
Np I hope you enjoyed it!

Yep, I'm thinking the beer yesterday, and the birthday cookie today is going to do me in. Oh, and the fact that I only exercised 3 day this week. I really lost my momentum this week. I can only pry for an even WI tomorrow.

You are my inspiration.

For those of you who either dont exercise, or have difficultly doing so, the best advice I can give is "Take is slow". When I started walking it was 1.2 miles and I was out of breath and felt like I was gonna die. Now I'm up around 2.5 miles at a pace of 3.0-3.4 MPH and I actually feel good after.

Exercise starts with a single step........so.......if you walk a few times a week just around the block that is SUPER !! Next week add another block.

If you told me a few months ago that one day I'd be walking brisk for an hour I'd tell you you were crazy.

Reg, have you tried the MapMyRun.com - Map your Running Routes. Find Runs. Calculate Calories, Pedometer, Distance, and More. ? it is pretty cool. you set up a route and it tells you how far and calories burned and keeps track of you shoe life. it also has a calender so you can see what days you log what you've walked.

I really wanted to place for the money because due to budget cuts our sons who attends a school for children with disabilities can not have a class trip. I went before the school board a few weeks and was granted permission for the class IF i raised the money. I won 300.00 yesterdays to go toward the class trip. I was telling the physician my goal I had rode with for 21 miles until our competitive edge kicked in and he left me and won first place donated his 500.00 and so very generously volunteered to finance the balance of the trip. (He and his wife also volunteered to go on the trip.)

My son's class will be going to the zoo ,riding the steam engine train and having lunch out. Many of the kid's would never have this experience so it was very important to me.

Babbs
Babbs, you kick butt...I an going to try my first 5K race in a few weeks, but I still haven't signed up. I'm a little nervous. Just can't get the paper work for the commitment. Any advise?

Tarolee it;s never bad if you stay within our points ranges!

Thanks for the info concerning light or moderate exertion. I have that on my activity point slider I just have a hard time believing that strength training is a light activity. I also have a hard time believing you only earn one point for 20 minutes on the NordicTrack (per WW online) because it feels like more than that!!!! It is really heard to judge.

Well I had a great day and had Chinese w/ mom. They messed up my order and sent me chicken and string beans in garlic sauce when I ordered steamed chicken and broccoli (4-5 points for 2 cups), but thankfully I had the WPA"s to cover the 14 points for 2 cups(!!!!) of stir fry chicken in garlic sauce.

It was nice to see my family as I haven't seen them since the Christening.

Ok, I just signed the paper work and paid the entrance fee for the race. I don't plan on placing, but definitely finishing. I can jog the 5K in 38 minutes so far this spring w/ my dog, so w/ people around going faster than me, I should cut off a few minutes.

I didn't realize it is next weekend! Wow am I in for it.

Good morning all. I just can't keep up with all of you! Well, I've found a meeting, every Wed night in the next town over...it meets at 5:30PM do you think if I'm about 15-20 minutes late every meeting it would be a problem? I don't get home until about 5:33 and it takes about 15 minutes to get there...but I really need to start going to a meeting.

Today's meals are as follows

B - oatmeal with Splenda
L - oatmeal with Splenda
D - Large salad (I have leftover chicken breast I can put in it)
Snacks today will be oranges

I am trying to log onto the ww site (I'm a member but I don't see my tracking menu thingy) so I'm assuming my last membership has run out and I need to update it. I can't seem to get the site to allow me to pay very frustrating.

I will be going to the gym in exactly 20 minutes. I'm definately getting back on track with that this week. I so miss the gym.

Does anybody know of another site I can use to track my food?

thanks
G
