I had no idea you can take biscuits to go after a meal (for free). Crazy. No wonder why us American's are all overweight...free biscuits from Bob Evans...free donuts from Krispy Kreme!

I really wasn't that bad there...1 egg, some potatoes (gotta have 'em) 2 pieces of bacon and 1 biscuit. Now, was it more than I usually eat for breakfast? Hell yes, but it was my only meal until dinner yesterday, which was healthy.

Any big plans for the day? We're taking my mom and my husband's parents to brunch at the club we're members of. I should be able to stay in my points for the day, no problem.

This is the first time I've seen my in-laws since Christmas. I understand (from friends) I look substantially different since then...I'll let you know what they say...if they say anything at all. I'm not their favorite person...

Good morning everyone, and a very happy Mother's Day to all the moms and those who nurture and care for others!

And a big thank you to you all for your well wishes and condolences.

I will be leaving for my weigh in in about an hour and a half, and if my home scale's loss sticks, it should be an ok one. If I can stay away from breakfast, that is ...

Anyway ... take care and have a great day, everyone!

So that just makes next week more of a challenge, because now that I can eat I am starving. I am going to hang in there though and I might just make my Memorial Day goal after all.

Happy Mother's to the great mommy's here and to anyone that cares for and nutures someone. God Bless You.

Happy Mother's Day to all the women who are mothers! Hello to every one else.
My family is going down to the cottage and trailer to clean up and get ready for Memorial Day. I didn't go because I know they will be eating at my favorite place and I am saving that for Tuesday after my wi. Hubby and I already made a plan to do that. But hubby chose to go today as well when GD8 asked him to go. I got all my cards and presents for the day so I am okay. I will get on my treadmill for a good long while and drink a lot of water and have salad and english muffin pizza for lunch. I might even go food shopping because I usually do that on Tuesday. My DIL will clean my cottage for me someday in the next couple of weeks. I pay her and she does a great job. All I have to do is walk in and live there. Works for me. Y'all have a nice day with whatever plans you got.

Well, I'm back from WI and I as down another 5.2 lbs, and got a mini lecture for losing too fast.

I guess I better start eating some of my WPA now.

Well, I bowed out of family activities today so I could take a nap and try to kick this nasty headache ... see you all later!

Happy Mom's day!

I am so far just sitting around. My boys were at their dads this weekend, but he brought them home this morning to be w/ me, DS12 soon 13 was born on mothers day morning, and I usually celebrate his B-day on Mom's day. so we are going to have a giant chocolate chip cookie for his b-day. I'm not a big fan, so that is great for me.
He wanted the Guitar Hero game, so that is what he got...well at least he is standing while he plays. can't call him a couch potato that way.

-4.6 is great, even if you're sick. If you stick to your plan, you should only hydrate yourself.

Great job. Sorry I didn't have any prizes picked out but here

Sarah, great loss, you're doing fine. even if your leader says you're losing too fast. I think it is just fine.

Tomorrow (if not 2day) I am going to figure out how to get my walking route up to 53 minutes to earn 4 APs. I added extra distance this week to get to 43-44 minutes (3APs)

For those of you who either dont exercise, or have difficultly doing so, the best advice I can give is "Take is slow". When I started walking it was 1.2 miles and I was out of breath and felt like I was gonna die. Now I'm up around 2.5 miles at a pace of 3.0-3.4 MPH and I actually feel good after.

Exercise starts with a single step........so.......if you walk a few times a week just around the block that is SUPER !! Next week add another block.

If you told me a few months ago that one day I'd be walking brisk for an hour I'd tell you you were crazy.

Thank you Reg!

I finished 2nd place out of 106 riders.

I really wanted to place for the money because due to budget cuts our sons who attends a school for children with disabilities can not have a class trip. I went before the school board a few weeks and was granted permission for the class IF i raised the money. I won 300.00 yesterdays to go toward the class trip. I was telling the physician my goal I had rode with for 21 miles until our competitive edge kicked in and he left me and won first place donated his 500.00 and so very generously volunteered to finance the balance of the trip. (He and his wife also volunteered to go on the trip.)

My son's class will be going to the zoo ,riding the steam engine train and having lunch out. Many of the kid's would never have this experience so it was very important to me.

I will be leaving later for San Francesco. I will be try to keep up because I will have my laptop and have access to Internet.

I will have a challenging week with points because I will be eating out daily as well as some events provide meals which are always high fat plus several cocktail parties to attend.
