Wow Carolyn, you rock!! That's wonderful. I bet you feel so good. You're not planning any European trips this summer that include chocolate croissants are you? Dieting/maintenance would be alot easier w/o vacations, huh? Good news about Betty. At least she's not stuck in the hospital.

Who's Jenny?? Do I know her by another name? Lol.

Thanks for the compliments on my kids. I think they're pretty good looking myself, but then I'm a bit predjudiced I'm sure.

My laptop is ready to be picked up. I'm crossing my fingers that they were able to salvage most of everything on it. I'm sure it'll take me awhile to get everything working right again. Like the wireless internet and networking to my PC.

I have a baby shower tonight and I'm "planning" on NOT eating cake and punch. I sure hope nobody's going to twist my arm, lol.

Carolyn great job

Sandy what a nice family pic.

Well today went well eating wise but I feel that eating all this fat my calories are way up there. What do you guys think? This is what I had today and their totals.

B - 3 eggs, cream, cheese, coffee, mushrooms, lc ketsup

L - 6 chicken wings, small salad with ranch

D - 3oz pork chop, cauliflower, butter.

Totals 2173 cals

74% fats
5% carbs
21% protein

Any input would be appreciated. Im going to make that cheesecake tonight so I can have something for breakfasts, I really dont care for eggs.

Sandy - your kids are gorgeous!
DS must be pretty tall - you're 5'7", right!

It didn't rain today and they dumped a load of mulch in my driveway.
So I spent this afternoon shoveling and dumping.
I hurt!

I'm too tired to even read.
See you in the morning!

Thanks guys. I'm pretty proud of my babies, lol. Yes, my youngest is over 6'1".

The shower was fun and I didn't have wine or cake! But I did have a few mints. Not too many though so maybe they won't stick to me, lol.

Hi gang..

Back to 143..but that's okay.. At least I know my scale can say 142.

Zilla: Coconut Milk in large cans?????????????????? That is amazing, but I'm sure lots of restaurants use it up quickly.

Off to get my "boy"..He warned me that he hasn't starting "packing" yet..So guess what we will be doing on Friday? Plus taking his "loft" down and disposing of the wood. It's too long to fit in my Camry..

Sandy: Good for you..mints aren't too bad..

MaryKay: Where do you find this stuff?

We are eating bad tonight..The Brookville Hotel..famous for fried chicken, etc. So, I'm working out this morning.

CYA Friday night..

Hi.
I finally took an Advil this morning.
There is still lots of mulch to move - but it will help me later with less weeding and watering!
I just wish it had arrived sooner before the plants were up!

I need to move some more this morning . . . before the rains would be nice!

Carolyn - Google is an amazing tool!

Have fun and be safe Carolyn. And enjoy dinner too! We have to live our lives along with taking care of them. Right?

I hate handling mulch!! When I do I just use gloves and do it all by hand. I get way too frustrated with a shovel or pitchfork. I like to avoid it at all costs though really, . But I hate weeds too! And mulch does work for that.
Have a fun day doing your mulching.

I've never used Co. Milk. I'm going to have to get some and try it. What's the easiest/best thing for me to try first?

And still, Who is Jenny??

Oh, I was down to 143.5 this a.m. so not having wine and cake paid off!

Coconut milk is a great base for smoothies, curries and chowders. Read the labels carefully! The carb content varies wildly between brands.

Good morning ladies, Well Im happy to report since being on plan Monday I am down 2.5 lbs!
Yeah Im happy about it. Id like to see more my first week but I realize I am a slow loser.
Well this week will be busy. My DH wants to get the trailer ready to do some camping starting memorial weekend. There's a lot to do, atleast it will keep my hands busy and out of the food. Its suppose to be 90 here, not fun to be working outdoors.
Anyhow Im off to Reno then to meet my sons class at the skating rink. Have a great OP plan!

Prozak I made your cheese cake and had some for breaky, yummy!

Yes Reno NV I lived there for 20 years but last year we move 60 miles East to Fallon, Country Life we love it. Unfortunately some of my bookkeeping accounts are still in Reno so I go there 2 times a week.

Hi everyone - I'm still around but haven't been able to post much lately. Been helping with my brother again - he seems to be doing better for now so I'm thankful for that.

So, for the past several days, before I'd go to his home, I have been making egg creams for breakfast. Oh man, nothing has ever killed my hunger pangs like one of those! They lasted me all throughout the morning and well into the afternoon. The first one I made, I used 1T cocoa powder, a scoop of whey protein powder, 1t instant coffee granules, 2T heavy cream, liquid splenda, two pasteurized eggs and 2T of melted coconut oil. I used my hand mixer, whipped everything but the co, then slowly added the coconut oil while still whipping. The second one, I eliminated the coffee and cocoa and used orange oil. Good grief were they good. It's now well into the afternoon and I am still not hungry. So I know I'll get enough cals for dinner. Maybe I've found my "holy grail of hunger"! Sure would be nice if this effect continues.

Carolyn, prayers for Betty. Hope she is feeling better and they can rid her of the fluid in her lungs. I remember when my dad had that problem. It makes people so uncomfortable and feel so sick.

Prozak, the cheesecake sounds great. Will try that this weekend.

Sandy, your family is beautiful. Thanks for sharing the pics. I love everyone's pics!

Hi lene, MK, RenoMom, Poot, WifeZ and Lil and anyone else I missed.

So here's my duh moment. I pick up my daughter from school today and find out today was the last day of school I never got a note and DS doesn't get out until the 30th. So anyhow so much for Mommy time
Today I made good choices. I went to Reno and for lunch went to Wendys and had a diet coke and a chicken blt salad with ranch. Big accomplishment for me. Tonights dinner is an artichoke and hamburger patty with all the trimmings. Well I best check on the kids they are too quiet

Morning!

Busy day today!

Grocery store with DD21, visit my mom, lunch with a HS friend, massage at 1:00, pick up DS15 from school, then DD21 wants to see Prince Caspian tonight.

It's nice that she missed me - but I really don't care if I go or not.
And after the massage, I night just slide right out of the seat!

Arlene!! How old is this daughter?

Hi MK Do you have time for a cup of coffee with me this morning? Sounds like you have a ton going on today. Me too, but I'm relaxing this morning a little. Will be back at my brother's today, so I'm making another egg cream to hopefully last me most of the day.

Nothing going on tonight - dh is golfing today - or so he thinks - IT'S RAINING! Good grief, these golfers I swear are just plain nuts! Cozy me on the sofa with a good book in this kind of weather - not on a cold, rainy golf course!

Hi to all - have a great day and I'll see y'all later.

No, no, that massage should be *mine*! LOL Bet we'd all like to snag it, huh?

We may be doing a movie this weekend, too. We're wanting to go see "Iron Man," and waited til we thought the theatre might not be as crowded. I do want to see "Prince Caspian" at some point, though. I read those books to Danny when he was little, and he loved 'em.

I feel *huge* today, and I'm afraid to step on the scale, because I was up so much yesterday and fear it may be even more today. I'm trying to assure myself this is just normal menstrual bloat, but geeminy, it feels like I've gained 10 pounds. I better be peeing like crazy once TOM is over, or I'll be downright terrified.
