Saw a little of the movie-making last night.
Couldn't get too close though - too many police cars and barriers.
And they were only a few blocks from my house, so I got to drive by.
No one would go with me to actually walk down though.
Party poopers!

Hair cut and color today, then lunch out, but first I need to exercise!

MK, how exciting! I think you should've applied as an extra. And party poopers are no fun are they? I know a few of those. Although, we went to our 9 y/o granddaughter's singing performance last night and the last song was "We Are Family" and everybody had to get up and dance with the child they were related to. She'd told me that she knew her daddy and papa wouldn't do it, but they actually both DID! I was very proud of them and she was very happy. They didn't 'move' much but hey, they got up there, lol.

I'm having a Healing Touch session at my faux Curves this afternoon, so I'll exercise before that.

Ohh..movie making is exciting to watch..kinda sloww..I remember when Clint Eastwood was in WDes Moines for The Bridges of Madison County, people would see him everywhere..Dillons, the Fitness Center. I never saw him personally..but I heard "rumors".

Sandy: That is great that your dh and dad "danced".

Hey....I have got to get a bunch of 1 cent stamps today..Anyone else?

I guess Gary's bro said Betty was more "lucid" last night at the hospital. So, I'll stop by this morning..

Hi everyone! I'm still here. Promise!

Carolyn, I'm keeping Betty in my thoughts. I hope she'll be more herself this morning when you go by.

I moved my scale (I'd had it in a very inconvenient spot) and now it reads 4 pounds heavier! Yikes! But I'm sucking it up and going with that weight, because who knows if the lower weight was more accurate? <sigh>

On top of the 4 pound difference just from moving it, I am up one pound this morning due to who knows what... I suspect PMS bloat, but will know if that's it in a day or two. Pooh!

But then I don't follow the film trucks around town either!

Carolyn - till praying for Betty. Thankfully I bought the forever stamps, and most of my stuff is paid on line so I don't use many of them.

Lene - The sale will move in the right direction soon. Keep doing what your doing.

MK - Movie making is fun to see. Living in Reno NV they have filmed a lot here, very hard to get into down town though. Speaking of Clint Eastwood, he filmed Pink Cadillac here, I also heard rumors LOL.

Well breakfast is done. I hve a hard time eating it I dont like food in the morning but I ate. I had a 4oz yogurt 3 carbs. 2oz of left over beef and 2 strawberries. Oh and my coffee with full fat cream this morning was wonderful! Good thing I only drink one cup a day, I could get used to that.

This isn't a huge town - about 80,000, so the rumors are everywhere.

Funny thing happened when i got on the scale this AM.

I was 190.5 yesterday, and today I hopped on the scale first thing and almost DIED when I saw 198.5

Like WTH????

I got on and off and there it was again, 198.5 I was about to cry.

When i stepped on it for the THIRD time i thought to look down while the zeros were flashing across the screen and noticed that the LCD bar thingie from the bottom left side of the zero was not working and then it dawned on me, that was an EIGHT not a NINE! I am 188.5!

I hesitate to change my stats until I see 188.5 for at least 3-4 days in a row.. history tells me it will bounce back and forth for a few days before it 'sticks' LOL

Congrats, Prozak..Waiting several days is always a good idea..

Saw Betty..Well, the dr. said her x-rays are about the same..He doesn't think she had pneumonia, but fluid IN her lungs. Ewww...Anyway, we will wait it out and see. She seemed okay today and was pretty coherent, so that's a good thing. Gary is planning on a trip to Sweden a week from Saturday...Hopefully, she will be on the mend and back at the nursing home...

Looks like my weatherbug is clicking..Hopefully, there won't be a tornado tonight..I have a meeting at the church.

I just made my famous cheesecake for me and my family and told them they get to have it for breakfast! (PS since feeding my kids more fat for breaky and no cereals/grains/starches they no longer circle the snack cupboard all day long, and say school is much more fun)

I used to try to scrimp on the cream, now I won't LOLOL

it is my hubby's favorite!

Has anyone reversed type 2 diabetes with lc?

Morning!

DD21 has moved home! This is her first break at home in over a year!

Most of her stuff is in her room too, so the house isn't too much of a mess.

I have some bathroom cleaning and some laundry today. It's supposed to rain, so not much to do outside - though I'd love to get my flowers planted . . . .

Gonna try your cheesecake recipe -- sounds yummy. And I agree, Zilla, Jenny's posts are always a source of inspiration and information. I ordered her book but since I got it through Amazon with free shipping due to also ordering another book (not due to be released for another month) I'm still waiting on it! I visit her sites all the time, though.

Carolyn, I sure hope Betty will be feeling better soon. It's good news that she's more herself mentally, but I'm worried about the fluid in her lungs! Keeping my fingers crossed for Gary's travel plans...
